Two errors in video montage, you showed limelight 1978 however did not open until February 1980. You showed construction of Georgia Dome instead of construction of Atlanta Fulton county stadium. Great video montage though

Oh wow some of these places are still around!
The Starlight 6 Drive In on Moreland is still there and in operation.
I used to live out there years ago.

Thank you for doing this. I cried watching it, having grown up in Atlanta and knowing how much is gone just since our family flew to Woodstock, GA in 1977. I MISS so much about it but I will always have my memories.

Born and raised here in Atlanta! I'm a 1971 piedmont baby!!! My mom worked at that Ford plant. I remember crying my but off because I was terrified of climbing those stairs! They weren't covered like on the picture. I love Atlanta, but I'm sad at the way it is now.

I am a 1983 Grady baby. Lived here all of my life outside of the 4 years I was enlisted. I live outside of the city in Acworth now. Atlanta is nothing like when I grew up in 80s and 90s. It started changing around the early 2000s and fast tracked to what it is now.

Don't go back. It's just sad. Burglar bars everywhere.
