Interesting video, but it's not just from the 70s. As noted below, some footage is from the 60s. Also, the Chevy police car at 3:20 is an early 1980's model, and also a K car (1980s) from the same clip.
That's what I'm saying! That particular generation of the Chevy Caprice didn't become more widespread until the 1980s. That clip from 2:57 to 3:27 seems to be from the latter half of the early 1980s (as in 1982 or especially 1983) to the mid-1980s. Hell, maybe it's even from the late 80s, but I'm unsure. It certainly isn't the 70s, that's for sure.

Great musical score and footage.
My beautiful city
Ashley Davis can we get together
LA hasn't been beautiful for quite some time. Today it is more like third-world..
polifatts If you really think that then you're dumber than dirt. Detroit is more of a third world if you ask me
Papa Dinkleberg Considering I lived in LA for 12 years until recently, I think I’d know what I’m talking about. There are very nice pockets of LA, surrounded by a ton of shitty parts. Some areas of LA you would swear you are in Mexico. It didn’t used to be like that.. There’s so much pollution, traffic, crime. It sucks.
cool. reminds me of CHiPs episodes.
Good point lol
I'm waiting for Starsky and Hutch come ripping around a corner !
1977, same year the show started.
Chips was the best and I have every episode on Dvd
Imagine being born in the 40s living through the 50sthe 60s and the 70s only to live in today's world
Since the 1990's the world has been just one big shithole.
I was born in the 70's and I think that about having lived through the 80's, 90's, 2000's, and now today's crappy world.
@Taint Magnet So a culture of everyone staring at screens and relying on the Internet for everything is your idea of a quality life?
@Taint Magnet What do you do?
Im not surprised so many people made suicide in 80s they just wanned good ending
Back when time was good and mostly all people feel good and was satiesfied with life. Great times..
So glad to have lived there in those years.
I just saw a girl riding her bike in the video and it put a smile on my face because you don’t see that anymore.
you should totally look up amsterdam
A great film, I love LA
Wow no smartphones or tiktok very beautiful made me cry
That Impala at 0:40 looks so badass !
Boyle Heights, was my Beverly Hills, Lorena St Elementary School, Stevenson Junior High School
I thought so!
AWB! Hamish Stuart. Toured together on AWB's first American tour.
First show was the Santa Barbara Bowl. Next the Hollywood Palladium at Sunset Boulevard.
Best of times of my life!
Just saw Hamish now on tour with Ringo Starr's All-Star Band.
I can see there is no internet or social media.
Everything looks beautiful.
