    I love the way the orangutans hold onto and hug each other, it's so adorable. Though it's a bit sad that they probably do it because they don't have their moms to hold onto. It must be tough for the surrogates wearing a mask all day in the humid forest. It shows how much they love and care about their babies, they'll do anything to keep the little orangutans healthy.

      Don't kid yourself. They do most of their "caring" for the camera so that they can attract more donations. These frauds don't want this animal to regain their health or independence any time soon because they will lose their meal ticket. They are just in the business of exploitation for personal gain.

      @kendrahansen1175 HUUUUUUHHHHHHHH what are you talking about? The animals in all their videos are healthy and exhibiting good natural behaviors. This organization has released over 500 orangutans into wildlife preserves since they started. Sadly, they don't need to keep the same orangutans around because more are coming in all the time, victims of poaching and deforestation. They'll have plenty of work for the foreseeable future without needing to exploit the animals in their care.

      @@suchnothing And, of course, you are just repeating the false garbage that this fraudulent organization feeds you via their dramatized videos. Why don't you ask this "organization" to show you their accounting records? Once you review those records, I bet you ANYTHING you would retract your statement above unless you are a poacher, a thief or an animal abuser.

    rescuing is a good thing to do. but caretakers seems to be spoiling those orangutans by always carrying, pampering, treating them like a human baby and always mouth feeding them.
    Spoiling those small orangutans means they will never go back to wild because they will become so lazy and very very dependent on human caretakers for food and every thing. if those orangutans gets released they will never bother searching food for themselves.instead of searching for food they will rather sit and eagerly wait for caretakers to bring the food for them.

    • @BOSFoundation
      @BOSFoundation  Год назад

      Thank you so much for sharing your concerns. We completely understand your perspective, but it's important to clarify that the surrogate mother's care for infant orangutans is designed to mimic the natural upbringing they would receive from their biological mothers in the wild.
      In the wild, orangutan infants stay with their mothers for an extended period, learning essential survival skills. Our surrogate mothers play a vital role in providing that nurturing and teaching. However, as orangutans grow, we gradually transition them to environments like pre-release islands, where they can practice these skills independently.
      Our goal is always to prepare orangutans for a successful return to the wild, and the care they receive during their infancy is just one part of that process. We appreciate your concern for their welfare and assure you that we're committed to their long-term well-being and eventual independence in the wild.
      You can read our success story on our website where the orangutans get their freedom and live independent in the wild forest ❤❤
