a totally useful piece of electronic. who cares what gear is on at the specific moment?
On the R1 2007 the wiring is diffrent. 1. Plug and play cable. 2. Red wire on the brown wire. 3. Green on de grey wire from the gearbox. ( you see a white and grey wire)
Couldnt figure out why mine wasn't working. turns out the connector for the grey wire wasnt clamped down hard enough so the indicator wasnt getting the signal. Grabbed on it hard with the pliers and then it started getting the proper signal coming in. Thanks for the video!
Can you pleas tell me where is conect the green one because i cant find out ? I find conector under the seed red one also i find out but green one i cant not find out
Thats sickkkkk. I'm new to riding , but I just got one of those for my 03 r6 gonna install that tomorrow. I was worried install would get complicated, but this seems pretty straight forward. Keep up with the content channel is dope! Also how are you shifting without the clutch?
I need some help. i connected mine on my cbr 600 F3 from 98. It does blink L slowly but not fast when i start the engine. when i have the wheel off the ground and engage first gear the indicator circles and thats it. any help? Green wire is not connected cant find where to get my neutral from could this be the issue?
Check out my "Rattle resolved" video and pause at 2:47. The sensor right below the timing chain is the pickup rotor coil/sensor. Thats what the green wire is tapping into. From what Im aware of, Its purpose is to tell the ecu the spark firing order. ruclips.net/video/_C6uTxJ7WDs/видео.html
Hola amigo.
Hey thanks for your comment, you can watch my “rattle on cold start” video to see where the pickup rotor is(it looks like a sprocket). The rotor coil is a magnetic sensor that interfaces with the rotor itself. From what I understand, The rotor and coil track the position and/or speed of the crank shaft
The pickup wire is coming out of the engine case cover on the throttle side. Trace that wire up under the tank to find a good place to tap into. In this video, it was the grey wire
I had a similar problem. If its not cycling through, that means its not properly tapped into the pickup coil. Revisit the pickup coil part of the install and make sure it makes contact.
would you please list down all the equipment that you've used in this video pls. I would like to know what was that thing you used to cut the the cable
It really helps for the streets. Cruising at low rpm can make you forget what gear you're in. On the contrary, it probably isn't necessary for fast paced high rpm riding on a track...Rider preference
I think you're supposed to cycle the key 5 times quick before it stops flashing or something like that. Then it displays L again. I'm looking at getting one.

Thats exactly what i was looking for thanks men !✌
That top down shot is 👌
Good job on using the right equipment for electrical set-up.
The most important thing is where the green wire goes and you literally don’t even show or talk about where it goes…
To the gray wire of the crank shaft position sensor
Couldnt figure out why mine wasn't working. turns out the connector for the grey wire wasnt clamped down hard enough so the indicator wasnt getting the signal. Grabbed on it hard with the pliers and then it started getting the proper signal coming in. Thanks for the video!
Man i miss this so much. I'm always lost never know if im at 5 or 6 gear...or 3 or 2...i want this. Thank you
Can you pleas tell me where is conect the green one because i cant find out ? I find conector under the seed red one also i find out but green one i cant not find out
Ground to body
I just got this same one off Amazon for $50 for my 2005 gsxr 600 hopefully it works..
You don't need a gear indicator... YOU GOTTA FEEL IT IN YA NUTZZ!!!! or at least. That's what my grandma said to my grandpa , when i was growing up.
where did you get the carbon.....I don't know what that call lol. it's so freaking beautiful!
I have watched the 'Rattle Resolved' video and still have no idea what the green wire attaches to.
What am I looking for?
Thank you.
Same, no clue... Proper explaination would be nice😅
07 r6 as first bike soon :D
Hey brother would you help me how can i remove the rear cover plastic to install new rear seat of my yamaha 2006 r6??
Thats sickkkkk. I'm new to riding , but I just got one of those for my 03 r6 gonna install that tomorrow. I was worried install would get complicated, but this seems pretty straight forward. Keep up with the content channel is dope! Also how are you shifting without the clutch?
Appreciated! But I have a quick shifter! Video on quick shifter coming soon! Good luck on your install
I got the same bike and im actually installing tomorrow how did it go ?
hello I heard that it could ruin with the icu of the motorcycle, did you have any problems or is it working well?
I have this same indicator, just installed it, but the adhesive it comes with is... one(?) sided. Did yours also come like that?
I need some help. i connected mine on my cbr 600 F3 from 98. Hi where is the green cable connected to exactly? Can you describe it? Thx

@@TheMeek1000 thx man it helped! Now it Works!
Eike N. Did you plug it into the green cable ?
Sportbike Everything so from the rotor coil/ sensor witch one you plugged it to the green one or the black one ?
What does it display when in neutral? I know the dash displays neutral but curious what the gear indicator displays
an N in green
Nice bike 👍

You don’t have to push the clutch in to shift gears ?
He didnt
Once it learns does it need to always learn when the bike turns on for every ride?
Once it learns, the settings are saved, no need to relearn
Nice video. Do you think in my yamaha tfx? Thanks
Im not sure exactly. The only component for compatibility is the speed sensor connector. Everything else is wire tapped
I could use some info on the green wire please. where and what is the pickup roter coil?
Hey thanks for your comment, you can watch my “rattle on cold start” video to see where the pickup rotor is(it looks like a sprocket). The rotor coil is a magnetic sensor that interfaces with the rotor itself. From what I understand, The rotor and coil track the position and/or speed of the crank shaft
Will it work for a 2016 Yamaha fz6r ?? I’m new to riding plz help
Does it break when water touches it?
Nice vid
How did you add that with the speedo healer connected?
What wire is the pick up wire on the 07 r6? The am pretty sure I'm on the incorrect one. Picture or more detail on that part?
The pickup wire is coming out of the engine case cover on the throttle side. Trace that wire up under the tank to find a good place to tap into. In this video, it was the grey wire
Bro really hitting 110 in a school zone
I installed and shows just first 4 gear. When ignition on show - - this lines not L
🤙🏽🔥
Ciao amico spero che tu possa aiutarmi non ho capito bene dove va il filo verde? grazie
My hear indicator doesn’t cycle through to set each hear the old thing it does is blink L and it rotates when I move do you know why ?
I had a similar problem. If its not cycling through, that means its not properly tapped into the pickup coil. Revisit the pickup coil part of the install and make sure it makes contact.
would you please list down all the equipment that you've used in this video pls. I would like to know what was that thing you used to cut the the cable
that's a wire stripper / crimper
where you get the blue connectors?
Those are t-taps. I think I got them from walmart
How many wires you connected?
I think 3. A tap into power, inline with speed sensor, and tap into pickup coil
Hi, I fucked up, how do I reset it?
You have a clutchless setup?
Yes I have a healtech quickshifter installed
Anyone know if this will work on an 08 r6s?
Como cambias sin apretar embrague???
I hope this was only the first episode, since you didn't show anything.
I connected the display to the ECU connector on the engine, unfortunately, after flashing "L", flashing "F" followed by not showing the correct gear.
The wire for the pick coil is important. Make sure you're tapping into the right wire.
Ciao il video è abbastanza chiaro però troppo veloce..
Il filo verde nero non si capisce dove lo hai collegato!!!
Who needs a gear indicator 😂
It really helps for the streets. Cruising at low rpm can make you forget what gear you're in. On the contrary, it probably isn't necessary for fast paced high rpm riding on a track...Rider preference

Ciao ma il cavo verde dove si attacca non si capisce sei troppo veloce 🚀 👨🚀
Ho capito tutto ma arrivato al filo verde mi sono perso grazie
Can you put a link of which indicator you brought
I just added it to the video description box 👌
No need for that..
Will it tell you if your in neutral?? 😂😂😂
No the green light on your motorcycle will let you know that your in neutral
Hey how do you reset the setup mate??
I think you're supposed to cycle the key 5 times quick before it stops flashing or something like that. Then it displays L again. I'm looking at getting one.
@@allenhibbs1 thanks it was m speedo broken down itwas thanks though
I dont get it??? did you not spend much time in school and now forgot to count have you????
