  • Reviewing Dragon's, 1/35 scale, K5(E) "Leopold" German Railway Gun, model kit, No. 6200, originally released in 2003. This reviewed kit, includes a turned metal barrel, and appears to be a later release, possibly from 2011 (?).
This is one of the largest 1/35 scale model kits reviewed on this channel (so far). Once assembled, the length of the railway gun, itself, is 86cm (34"), with the embankment section stretching the completed model to 109cm (43") in total length.
As well as the metal barrel section, this kit also includes Photo Etch grills, and exhaust shrouds, 6 crew figures (Dragon's "German Artillery Crew, Kit No. 6201, also released 2003), the track and railway embankment (Dragon's "Railway Track w/Embankment" Kit No. 3825, released 1997), to display the gun on, 2 types of shells for the gun, string and chain for the gun's railings, and a decal sheet for the K5(E) railway gun "Leopold", one of the two K5(E)'s, used by German forces to oppose the landings at Anzio. Known collectively as "Anzio Annie", or, the "Anzio Express".
