  • Based in Los Angeles, Chef Theresa Lin has been called a food ambassador, even a culinary diplomat, for her work as an author, radio show host, and TV personality. In 1994, she worked alongside Taiwanese filmmaker Ang Lee as the food designer for “Eat Drink Man Woman.”
For our American Ginseng: Local Knowledge, Global Roots project, Chef Theresa shared her family’s recipe for nourishing ginseng chicken soup, flavored with ginger, red dates, and goji berries. She uses fresh ginseng grown by Hsu's Ginseng Enterprise Inc. in Wisconsin, praising the root for its medicinal properties.
