    Thanks for revealing that this bad boy has quite the “sweet spot.” 149 f.p.e., with an 81 grain pellet was more than I expected. I’m calling it the Tec 9 of all airguns. Thanks for the video and stay safe.

    • @AIRGUNZ_MILITIA
      @AIRGUNZ_MILITIA Месяц назад

      so i am blind, did not see that sweet spot, and missed the premiere, so what did you see, what is that sweet spot pressure and thanks.

    • @eitangrinspon1637
      @eitangrinspon1637 Месяц назад +1

      @@AIRGUNZ_MILITIA Hello,
      It was very brief, as he was showing some of the varying velocities on the chronograph, and it suddenly jumped to 900 f.p.s., which he quickly showed was 149 f.p.e.
      Sadly, he did not share the air pressure like Mr. Hollow point would, but it was the highest velocity reading which means it can reach that much power. That tells me if I slapped a butt stock on it, I could stretch this thing out some distance; if I for whatever reason found the need to; like a survival scenario. So I think I may have to buy one, to give you a more complete and thorough answer. Of course I would do that for you, I’m a veteran, patriot, and a passionate prepper!

    • @AirgunAlley
      @AirgunAlley  Месяц назад +3

      But I did share the air pressure. I started at 4500psi and shot 3 mags til the air was depleted. I even put the number of each mag to give a more accurate shot count

    • @AIRGUNZ_MILITIA
      @AIRGUNZ_MILITIA Месяц назад

      @@eitangrinspon1637 hmmm did you see which shot it was, because i can gauge the aprox pressure by the shots from 4500psi, having shot aea airguns alot and many platforms.
      no need to buy it based on my needs,
      i am still considering if i am going to buy this , or the s45 mini 9mm with only a 250cc front tank.
      which is 18 inches long (2 more inches)
      and comes with the adapter and folding butt stock that you can remove the adapter and stock and it would only be 17 inches long and the same weight. and the s45 9 mm gets a starting fpe of 178
      so better and also has 8 rd mags and macabespeed already has extendo stick mags for the s45, and cost difference is $899 for the T9 and $1500 for the s45 mini 9 mm
      and i am leaning twards the s45 since it has the 52mm tank and i can put a regulater on it ,
      and that would bring the energy from 178 down to 140fpe but you would get alot of shots at a consistent energy.
      so i am kinda leaning tward the s45 mini 9mm.
      i absolutly did not like the bottom tank on the T9 that when i bumped it , it let out all the air and popped the o-ring into the bottom tank for someone to fish out. so i sent mine back for that reason, i do not need that. and i can get an adapter for the rear tank on the s45 that will probably be hot swappable in a short time since the megaladon has one.
      so all in all that is my plan, but if you tell me the shot it hit 900 fps i can tell you the sweet spot to fill to. probably shot 3 or 4 at 3800psi.
      probably. or it may have been an error or a hiccup in the platform. because guns n gadgets did a video also and was not so great of a performance, and he got his from airgun tactical also.
      never be quick to buy a bintac airgun.
      i can tell you from personal experience, bintac sends out the stuff he does not want to give to his vip customers. and at the same time he wants to drive other competitors customers from them to him. and my T9 was bought from fox air power and bin knows i am terry fox friend, and he shipped my T9 in a cardboard box with nothing keeping the tsa case from getting beat to crap by fed ex, had 3 holes in the cardboard and a ripped open end when i got it, and i believe that is why it malfunctioned on me.
      and now , that i had to send it back , he made sure his shop was closed so fed ex , deliverred my T9 to an empty closed shopfront.
      and i have been working for the last 7 days to get that package returned correctly, and now i am not sure it is even in bin's hands at that shop , even though fed ex says it was signed for by XJ COG which might be jason bins technician.
      i hope so.
      anyway the s45 mini has been out for awhile and there is stock in stores that has been tested,
      so me, i am probably gonna get that .
      truth be told.
      thanks though.
      and thank you for serving. me i only worked a job corps job at nas dallas in the AIMD under cheif sharky, inventorying the deployment comming back from desert storm way back when.
      sharky told me if it is on the list make sure it is on the right list and if it is not on the list , make it not be there,
      and i did just so. while kicking it with E5s' and E7's and a couple navy seals.
      got to spar with those seals.
      it was very cool. and being able to ride my bike through the security gate checkpoint without being searched was also cool. sharky told the gate to not check me. cause he told me to get rid of stuff that was not supposed to be there.
      and no cannot tell what.
      smiles. wish i had served more but it is what it is.
      but you thank you.
      and the best advice is here any time.

      @@AirgunAlley i know ya did now cause this good vet told me, but i am blind giggles really truely blind in both eyes . and only able to shoot 10 meters at present accuratly.
      does your chronograph talk? smiles
      anyway i think for the adapter and stock i want anyway i will go with the s45 mini 9mm instead. more energy.
      thank you though.
      i am sure it will have an adapter soon that will also hot swap. and i cannot stand that bottom tank. sketchy.
      smiles but the being able to load from either side is pretty cool , did ya know about that, the mag inserts from either side. i learned that when i got mine but had to send it back. leaking from bottom tank.
      sad

      i totally agree, and the s45 mini is only an inch longer if you take the adapter and stock off that comes with it.
      so yeah, and that bottom tank, nono it will depressurize if bumped.
      so yup s45 mini 9mm is the way to go 9 inch barrel and 250cc front tank 52mm no rear tank. and without the adapter and stock it weighs the same.

    first of all i want to ,as an experienced , un-professional , but very capable professional airgun weapons and less lethal technician and inventor , LOL , compliment you on a very detailed , full comprehensive test of this new product .
    Your opening as always is very amusing and very well thought out and planned . it always sets the stage for what becomes an awesome action packed presentation movie !!! ....
    if and only when , i ever become rich enough to patent my many ideas to bring to market my awesome one of a kind never before seen airguns and less lethal ideas and fantastic ammo creations , YOU are sure to be the one to review them out of the box to be seen by the public for the first time !!!! lol .........
    With everything i do , "NUMBERS" is everything , at the end of the day , in airguns/launchers or youtube videos , etc. , numbers are the most important thing , the most humblest , gracious , and informative youtube host who's ever rising , climbing and maintaining numbers you are achieving are mind blowing , so You must be doing something right ! RIGHT ? ..... LOL !!!!
    NOW ABOUT THIS WEAPON , i personally think , this thing has a lot of potential , first of all , in less lethals or airguns and pistols , ammo makes a difference , shame on you , AGT for not sending at least some of your nicer ammo to be used with this airgun in this AWESOME youtube video , channel and host .!!! LOL !!!
    AGT sells some pretty impressive rounds for airguns that are basically slugs and shaped projectiles to get the most out of airguns thats physically possible !!!
    for hunting i would definitely use FX hybrids or AGT hollow point slugs to do the best job , but for your penetration and fps and distance testing , i feel real solid point slugs would do the best job !!!
    As for as what you did today on a scale of 1 to 10 , i give You a perfect 10 , You have successfully demonstrated what this thing does with just plain ol school light weight pellets with this airgun right out of the box , straight from AGT !!! ...
    AGT , i can see the simple pellets immediately flattening out as the hit the steel pans in this this video , especially when its in slo-mo setting , not damaging the second plate because all the force or inertia was expelled upon contact of the first plate , in reality , dumping all of its energy right there , hey AIRGUN ALLEY MIAMI , did you see one of the screws that holds the brackets of your stainless steel plates dislodge from the wood , that was wild !!! lol .
    i can see in the future BINTAC having other barrels , folding and sliding stocks , a bigger longer hot swappable tank that could be used with at least a 12 to 16 inch barrel which would increase FPS exponentially , and maybe even a regulated version of this which in my opinion would be a giant plus , all in all , i like this airgun as its brand new out of the box as a shorter range carbine /pistol type weapon !!!....
    , i can see it has a lot of potential , as ,,,,, BINTAC , AGT and especially you my awesome BROTHER as one hell of a youtube airgun host and reviewer , thank you for making my morning ritual and coffee more enjoyable and GOD bless You and Your family ,Your mostest awesomest youtube channel , your awesome subscribers who continually tune in every time You upload a new video , heck , the whole airgun and less lethal community !!!!
    another job well done my Brother !!!!

      and the ed gun west .356 dia exploding slugs do fit the mag, so that ability to dump all its energy into the target will be matched by the exploding slugs to destroy a target in a self defense situation.
      that is .22 lr energy with a explosive ending , i already have 60 of the exploding rounds, but had to send my T9 back as it was not working. but will have the air pistol. smiles enjoy. i am also an airgun modder and inventer, doing integral supression on the challengers and any othwer aea with a shroud, but i tend to leave the semi autos alone because they need that pressure in the shroud to be what it is not fiddled with by me.
      i am still trying to visualize integral supression in the .51 cal hp max or challenger elite , cannot fgure what it will take to make a correct adapter to thread to the barrel m18 to m18 and have a integral and also still be able to add a supresser. but working on it. and my element max just uses th muzzle brake with some thick felt and an old emperor outer case twisted onto that and sounds fine but that is not integral quite.
      and the barrel is too close to that tank to use a 2"dia shroud so contemplating a 5"shroud of thin aluminum to go over the tank and barrel and all of it. and make it look like a cannon from outer space. haha
      or squaring it off and putting the barrel end at the top and tank encapsulated at the bottom, have not decided yet and working on another couple projects at the same time.
      anyway, thanks. what do you invent and mod?

    It's ironic that the stocks aren't in stock.
    I think the big variations in velocity were an issue with the chronograph not reading right. Some guntubers have gone to using the Garmin C1 Pro, and have nothing but good to say of it. But that puppy's like $500. Maybe you could ask them to sponsor you one up. 🙃
    9 mm in firearms is .355 diameter..357 is .38 caliber. Yeah, sounds weird. It's because old .38 black powder era cartridges were actually using .38 caliber bullets. They used heeled bullets, so that the rear of the bullet was narrower and fit inside the casing, which was also .38 caliber. When heeled bullets fell out of favor, they maintained the same diameter cases, and the bullets were the inside diameter of the casing instead, which is around .357.

    • @AirgunAlley
      @AirgunAlley  29 дней назад +1

      Hahaha! Damn outta stocks!
      Hey you dishing my chrony?! No I don’t think that was the issue. I’m more inclined in suspecting that 4500 psi is a bit too much pressure. Just fill it a little less.
      The Caldwell may not be the most accurate, but it’s still pretty good, solid and consistent… I’ve found.
      You know, I reached out to the Garmin people, but they never got back to me. I do have a Natechrony on the way - a pretty cool Ozzy inventor came up with it, and let’s see how that’ll work!
      And thanks for that! As always you are more precise than the stats given out by the brands themselves… like marketing the 357 as a 9mm altho it’s really 355. I wish my channel was big enough to always have you on my show!!

    Great review, not sure where this fits in airgun world? It’s definitely cool looking. I wished AEA would do 2 things better , add a regulator to more of there guns( this one included) and do something different/ better with magazines. I have 3 AEAs now and the mags leave a lot to be desired, compared to others out there. I probably won’t buy another until they address this. Thanks for the information.

      @AirgunAlley  Месяц назад

      Thank you so much as always Kurt! And that’s hilarious, I guess we’re just gonna have to create a whole new “AEA BinTac” category!
      Man you’re preaching to the coir, especially on the magazines! That new 3D printed tool is actually a big help… but not the solution!
      But I believe in them. I think now their main focus is to perfection the semi-auto action. Once that’s mastered that, all improvements are hopefully to come!

    Great video with the iPhone, but you know you can always get a bus powered class compliant audio interface and use it to record with several mics at once, while you film, all bus powered with just your phone? So a dynamic mic pointed near the barrel, a condenser mic further away for atmospheric sounds and another for your voice all recorded to different tracks to mix down in post production. It might cut into your gel budget though.... 😂

    Quite nice. Looks cool. Maybe some stock (foldable even?) coming later on?
    Apparently not regulated (and not really marketed so either, due not seeing any mentions in the descriptions). Maybe best to not fill it up all the way to the max just for a better consistency. Just noticed some quite variable shots at the beginning of the shotstring.. But, however the shooter wants it.
    Way gool it being loud also. Often the airgunners just want them to be so damn quiet for some reason..😁😂 Totally badass looking airgun. Hope the base model gets some more stuff in the future.
    Another well made video. Thank you!
    Keep it up!👍🏻
    Edit.
    Or maybe the chrono is the issue, and the reason of so much varying fps numbers? (as someone else here commented). I know my chrono reacted poorly when I modded an air rifle co2 magazine of mine. Numbers between 400 to 1100 wasn:t really telling me anything straight..🤣

      Hello my friend! Thanks so much and spot on! Indeed the stock will be available, I know they’re working on that. And you’re right, it’s not regulated.
      I also believe that the issue here is the over fill. 4500 psi may be too much for it to remain consistent. I don’t think it was the chronograph.
      Thanks again man!

      Thank you so much!! That’s a very fair question. But I don’t think that’s the case. I didn’t really leave the gun in the sun at all (also this is air nor CO2, I don’t think the expansion is that great to make such difference in the numbers).

    I believe the gun is very capable of penetrating the metal trays if a slug or harder pellet was used. You can see in the slo-mo that the pellets used are flattening out as they hit the pan expelling their energy without penetrating, With a good moderator to reduce the noise this would make a great back yard pest gun for animals up to racoons & coyotes. It does need a tuning and most likely a good regulator as the velocities are not very consistent.

      I agree my friend, very good point. But still I wanted to demonstrate the performance on a full tank and also do that shot count. In fact the shots stabilized more when the tank was a bit more depleted, confirming your point

    • @AIRGUNZ_MILITIA
      @AIRGUNZ_MILITIA Месяц назад

      @@AirgunAlley thanks, several of my 4500 fill aea's have a sweet spot of 3800psi. so i just fill them to that and even have a quick setting on my compressers for that pressure. because going over that is like almost wasteing gas.
      but in the aea's i regulate i use a 4500 on the 52mm tanks and 3800 on the 41mm tanks because the smaller regulaters cannot take the strain, course a second regulater will fix that one bringing the pressure down to 3600 or 3800psi but not getting the assault of the hammerspring and the second tank at 210 bar or 3100 or so psi and getting the hammer but not having the 4500psi on the back end while it is doing it.
      like the challenger pro .35cal, i really want to put a 52mm external reg on that one between the internally regulated tank and the tank valve housing without the plenuum. because that space between the external reg and the valve is more than the pro's normal plenumsize.
      and max out the internal reg , also wish i had a male /male coupler to increase the pro's tank volume. but the 2nd generation external regs 52mm do not come apart like the 1st gen ones did. ugg.
      bck last year i was told i could use 4500 psi in my hp standard custom edition and old challengers but it was incorrect, the regulaters could not take it and would spit their guts out inside the tanks. this is where i learned this 3800 psi thing. while re building my hp standard regulater. it is a 41mm tank , so that megaladon can be regulated but aea does not make that regulater anymore, just those who bought an hp standard custom have one. like me, i have one. and a 500cc tank to put on the front of a megaladon. instead of the 250cc tank.
      course i would then need a folding stock for it.
      and it is all imaterial , my hp max does what the mega does has a pump action ,500cc 22inch barrel and a regulater. so i won't buy a mega.
      but this T9 , i am still mulling it over since i will not be getting the one back i sent back to bintac.
      i think i will not touch it unless i can permanently thread lock that bottom tank in place.
      smiles but you enjoy it.
      i may go for a s45 mini pistol 9mm though, but with a folding stock not the rear tank.
      but i also may skip it altogether and get the rattler .45 longstrike and catch the s45 mini pistol later. for a side arm.
      it depends on the leather i can find for making holsters and back sheaths. really.
      i agree the T9 can go through those steel trays, use .356 gt bullets reload bullets at hardness 16. or graff and sons reload bullets 9mm
      (that is .355 diameter) hardness 16
      they will go through.
      course ed gun west .356 exploding slugs might do it too but are expensive.
      you may also use 11/32"carbon steel ball bearing and they will fit roll and not mess up your barrel. that is .348caliber aprox and it rides inside the rifleing but still spins, like using a steel bb in a rifled crossman 1377 back in the day. it works fine.
      just gotta have the correct size steel and the rule is this, if it rolls it will shoot so roll them through first.
      ibet the velocity is ovrer a thousand fps on steel ball bearings. but the energy will be less because carbon steel is lighter than lead. course my guy at airgunsofiowa.com makes .357 round ball smiles in lead. he used to sell on ebay before they stopped selling big bore lead. but the hardness is 12 on his lead. good crisp stuff though.
      take it easy, alley.

    I don't like pelicans - how's about a seagull case instead? ;-)
    Kind of bulky for $900 - are those two air cylinders on it though?
    Not off to a good start as it's not even penetrating one plate - definitely need to know the FPS as this is already looking more less lethal.
    OK, good gel penetration at 10-20 feet, so might have a chance for serious home defense.
    Six and a half pounds?!? I have rifles lighter than that! O_o
    OK, double tank with one being hot swappable - not bad.
    The FPS is all over the place with this thing - maybe it needs tuning, but seeing as how not everyone knows how to tune, that's bad as that means a beginner is getting a VERY inconsistent gun.
