So, I'm not a current customer nor have I ever been... However, I watched this video and had to comment. Why?.. Because not only do I understand but I completely respect it! Making this video wasn't easy! Admitting a mistake isn't easy and making them right can be even more difficult. But THIS^^^ is one of the BEST examples of GOOD BUSINESS I've seen in a very LONG time. And I will be adding this guy's page to my Bookmarks. Nowadays people seem to be fixated on Quantity over Quality and Instant-Gratification, to someone from my generation(?)/background(?) that way of thinking doesn't even compute!? I was ALWAYS taught that the QUALITY of your work is what defines you! And that you learn to do things the RIGHT way, before concerning yourself with speed + efficiency, because BOTH of those will come with EXPERIENCE. Sir, I don't know you personally but I can tell you're from that same school of thought and, although it likely wasn't your intent, you just gained a new customer. Awesome video, awesome business, and great work man. I commend you.
I recently grabbed a bag of hollow skirts. For my t9, they haven't misfired or jammed on me yet. Nice quality slugs! I've been trying different ammo, different fill pressure, etc to try and get the gun to function without any misses. Making my magazines fit tighter with some vinyl tape was a crude but drastic improvement in function. As far as i can tell the other most beneficial thing was ditching 81 grain ammo for 68 grain. The t9 definitely likes lighter ammo. Cool gun when its cycling properly it kicks!
I'm getting a T9 soon your ammo seems like the ticket. Something lighter for higher velocity is wanted on this little gun. I would also be interested in a barrel extension about four inches so it will still fit in my vertex commuter plus bag and a folding stock. And as long as the barrel is longer I think why not the horizontal tank as well. I don't know if you have plans for any such items. But I would love to hear your thoughts at least. Great stuff as always
I’m a +1 for the happy with him side. I have honestly been overly satisfied, impressed, and thankful with my experiences purchasing from Texoma. The care and obvious experience this guy puts in makes me admire and support him and his business. He (please don’t get offended Jim lol) reminds me of my grandfather a lifelong tool and dye maker that knows his stuff through and through and there’s not many more built like him so I’m super glad were fortunate enough to have someone like that supporting and advancing this community. We’d genuinely not be as far as we are without his work and he’s literally the reason I never get bored with this stuff lol. Whoever the yelp critic is I recommend sending an official complaint to your doctor about your meds not working.
I’m a few hundred rounds through it so far and like it. I’m not sure what to think of the tank hanging down? Since the one under the barrel is hot swappable. I would just as soon have an extra swappable tank
I’ve bought stuff from you and one of the things said you get some “sample” pellets. Jim’s samples are 100x plus lol. When I hear sample I think 5-10 nope.
@@mohamedkallon1491 I was having an indexing issue with 78.5gr slugs but 82gr vortek pellets worked perfectly fine. By indexing, I’m saying that occasionally, about every 2+ rounds out of the magazine would get smashed inside the magazine rather than pushed into the gun. I actually might have damaged one magazine trying to shoot those slugs, (I’m not sure, I misplaced the magazine somewhere). The 82 gr pellets were not having the same problem, I did have the issue where once every several magazines, the semiautomatic function wouldn’t reset or load another pellet. I wiped down the bolt with Ballistol and the last test shooting I did, I had no failures to feed, so it’s possible that the gun just needs better lubrication to run right, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, just something to keep in mind.
I did try a magazine of 68 gr FX Hybrid slugs, and I think I had one poorly indexed slug out of a magazine. The sound of those hybrid slugs hitting the water (I was shooting into a river as a backstop) was Intense. It was almost louder than the sound of the T9 with 16” extended Emperor going off! The 82 gr pellets were skipping like rocks and the sound was just a muted plop for the nearer hit. It jumped over the sandbar, I’d say the skip was about 100-150’ after shooting it over 200+’ for the first leg of its flight. *The opposite side of the river is uninhabited, I believe it’s actually an Army bombing range, but in any case there weren’t any people on the other side of the Tanana River where I was shooting.
@@akseminole thank you, this helps me alot . thought i was nuts having to put a mag in part way and pull trigger to get it to reset for me. but no issues with the dish based hollowbodys from fox air power , no issues with an edgun .356 exploding slug but that was the longest i would try using.and since learning about that feed issue i would only use one on the first slug of the mag. not gonna chance an explosion inside a mag. and goodness, thanks, i was actually considering getting a second one of these when i have already had issues. so gonna go with the s45 mini pistol 9mm instead, do you have any of these, with metal mag faceplates and inserts? maybe even a folding stock , but not the rear tank, do not ever need a rear tank unless it is hot swappable. smiles.
this beyond being 4.5 mm in my country would be considerd by the law equal to any firearm that needs a permit from the local police depatment, anything with 4.5mm or less no matter the muzzle power (air power) is sold over the counter to anyone over 18... larger caliber airguns are not allowed for properhunting exept for taking small critters pests like rodents and certain birds. but any firearm from 1890 or before are no restriction on but ammo or blackpowder again has to be given a license to shoot antique guns, theres even been talk of restricting antique cartrige based weapons but has so far been declined. so loving guns in norway is a sour experience, even deactivated that have been cut to pieces by our counterpart to the american FBI called PST short for politiets sikkerhets tjeneste or in english police security service...
Jim is a gentleman and a scholar. I call Jim at Texoma a personal friend, and his stuff is top tier. 100 percent macabespeed approved.
much appreciated.

Jim is awesome ! Super helpful and friendly . I Love his products , best ammo you can get !!
Got mine from him and not one complaint with my purchase

Yup, I stumbled a couple of times before I landed on that one.
I’m a customer of yours, more than happy with the products you offer ! Keep up the great work Jim !

I am super happy about you Jim. One of MCAR is on the way to you
Thank you, I’m looking forward to testing it.
Ordered some 457 from you recently and they work great all around. Excellent chroney numbers.

Hey Jim ,how about designing an aluminum stock that matches the t9, something that blends into where the stock should be ?
Working on it. Two paths, AR stock adapter, versus Ballista folding stock adapter.

I gotta get one ordering tomorrow if my wallet doesn't get too mad 😂
When will you have more in stock or for presale ?
They are on my website for sale. I believe I have 6 or 7 left
I haven’t used your stuff as of yet, but now knowing of your reputation, and the impression I have I will soon!
What are your thoughts on the T9 pistol since you are running pellets and slugs?🤠🇺🇸

@@texomaprecisionpellet7545
I agree on that bottom tank and that is what triggered my question.
Thank you for responding.🤠🇺🇸
@@texomaprecisionpellet7545
A tank is easy enough to swap and you can then add a bigger one if you wanted to.
@@johnnybbgunner2136 my thoughts exactly
do you make a skirted slug or pellet for the L2 in .357?
I’ve bought stuff from you and one of the things said you get some “sample” pellets. Jim’s samples are 100x plus lol. When I hear sample I think 5-10 nope.
How come you don’t let us know why the 100 grain pellets won’t work? Is it because the slug doesn’t fit in the mag
I believe I said why they didn’t work, the bolt seemed to be engaging the mag before it rotated to the next pellet.
@@texomaprecisionpellet7545 ok got it, so 3D printing a upgraded Mag should fix this problem right? Instead of using lite pellets
