They aren't ready to send Jade out there solo, so they paired her with Bianca to help her along. If you notice, Jade may have been the legal man for 5 minutes of the match. They made Bianca wrestle the bulk of that match.

The problem is that the referee lost complete control of the match and allowed too many illegal maneuvers in the match to the point that the wrestlers or the fans didn't know what was going on. Even the podcasters here stated that they never pay attention on who is legal in a "tag team match" which is mind blowing and the problem with this new school wrestling psychology. Now the referee role is diminished and they are there to just count 3 and disregard all the rules of wrestling. Back in the day, a wrestler had 5 seconds to get out the ring after tagging out. That way the fans knew who was legal and it didn't cause confusion. At one point they had 4 wrestlers in the ring for over 3 minutes.
You forgot to mention Sasha Bank's cameo on the video package before the tag match. And also a special mention to the the ref who made history to be the first woman to referee a main event match for the WWE Championship.
I genuinely LOVED the tag match! I love how they kept Asuka and Kairi looking strong against Bianca and Jade. Also, Jade looked great in this match. She kept up with Bianca, Kairi, and Asuka. I hated that the match was messed up but you can’t deny that they did a great job!!
Jade Cargill needs to work on her selling. I don't know if that is her character not selling so she would look strong but I hope she change that because everyone is adjusting for her so I hope she works on her selling.
this is going to tiffany stratton's third month as an official main roster talent & she's already one of the top female superstars in the company. so excited for her future & naomi's also been killing it since returning to wwe!

The ref call confused me and I rewinded and YES Asuka did tag. HOWEVER the ref should have been counting to 5? You don’t wait until the pin fall until you have to switch to the legal competitor. However very confusing nonetheless and took me outta the match until the very end. Boy did that match fall apart.
I think it's as mentioned in the video. He, like everyone else, didn't notice and deeeefinitely had someone in gorilla position yelling in his ear mic.
I don’t think Bianca is ever turning because she’s like the John Cena to young black girls. the French did amazing as a crowd. They had added so much excitement and you can tell they really loved being there! we in America don't really pop for the women so it was nice getting that recognition for them.
The mistakes on the tag title match: -Asuka shouldn't have tagged her partner and just done a heel move where she interfered without the consent of the ref so Kairi could do the spot legally. She then goes back to her corner, knowing this script is supposed to be Kairi being legal -All girls made an illegal tag at one point by not following the classic tag rule of holding onto the turnbuckle ropes/strings before tagging in -The ref is aware of this specific rule, after Bianca and Jade did the DDT German suplex combo, the ref was telling Jade to hold onto the corner strings -The ref should know the script and make the right call to remove Asuka from the ring, since Asuka was not holding the tag ropes/string in her corner before Kairi was called out as the illegal person in the ring -Kairi and Jade were so lost and had a hard time recovering from the mistakes Minor issues: Jade is not selling the moves of her opponents. She was getting punched by Asuka and she was doing movements that showed she was getting hit, but her facial expressions were blank, and some angles showed her slightly smiling while taking the shots. No selling Kairi's armbar. She should sell cause she would piss her future opponents in real life if she just no-sell these scripted wrestling moves

Holding the turnbuckle string to tag is in an old school rule that wwe don’t really enforce now. You can tag in without holding the string so long as you’re standing within the distance of the string. I.e wrestlers will still hold onto it so they know they’re not too far from the turnbuckle to legally tag in.
So there's actually more than you pointed out, by a lot. -After telling Asuka that she wasn't legal he counted her tagging out anyywa -He then counted a tag in for Bianca when she's on the middle of the apron (not near either ring-post, nor the strings attached to them) when the Kabuki Warriors run Jade into the rope. -After this illegal tag in he let's her attempt a pin -The Ref calls a tag in for Asuka, then counts Kairi pinning someone within 10 seconds of eachother -Then at the end Jade catches Kairi Sane and hits her with the Jaded before rolling towards the right side ropes (so not within touching distance of either of the ropes you can grab in their corner), Bianca runs in, does the K.O.D. to Asuka on top of Kairi, then pins Kairi, without Bianca and Jade ever touching eachother, near the ropes or not. The match was won by Bianca Belair pinning Asuka while the legal women were Kairi Sane and Jade Cargill. This match is either an intentional setup for an angle, or one of the biggest clusterfucks I've seen in a long time.

Hi guys!!!! I hope you are alright :) I was at the show last Saturday, first time ever for me, it was a great experience!!!! The crowd was so happy to see WWE live and they were so nice with everyone honestly. Just to help you with something, you were absolutely right about the Simplement Deux part right after a 2 count, and after saying that they weren't singing anything in particular, just repeating the sentence chanting it, it was a SIM-PLE-MENT-DEUX clap clap clap clap, nothing too important 🤣 In the second match I was scared to see a cold reaction cause it was between the two top men's titles, but people cared a lot and it was great to see it. Even with the botched spot, the crowd was still chanting so it didn't get quiet and awkward. Overall it was great, I have been following women's wrestling since 2004, and 20 years after it was a dream come true to see these great women live in my city 💙

While I enjoyed the match, I disagreed with the outcome. Jade Cargill is NOT ready for a solo title run, which is why she has been paired with Bianca. Bianca wrestled the majority of this match. The reason I say Jade is not ready...since RR, she has barely been on TV or in the ring...when she has been, it's been to cut a promo, do a backstage gig, or do a quick squash match. She's being given the Ronda treatment...capitalizing on her signing, and being given a title all too quickly. I wouldn't have had the Kabuki Warriors lose here. I would have waited until Summer Slam... That way, Bianca & Jade have time to mesh as a team, cook a bit, and be more well-rounded. There was literally no build-up. They just teamed together. Jade, despite improvement from her AEW days, is still not where she should be. Again, this is why Bianca does most of the work... Jade is just not there yet. I think it was a bad idea to debut her on the main roster. She should have went to NXT....put in the work. I think it's a bit insulting to every other woman who has been there for 4+ years when Jade is pushed ahead of them. She's just not main roster ready, IMO.
-🇨🇵This audience was the best ever. Amazing that they had the energy to cheer, shout and sing for 3 hours. WWE should go to France all the time. Sometimes I said: can you shut up😅 -The tagteam match was good but confusing. I agree that Tiffany was very much the MVP pf the triple threat, but I feel like it was because of how giving Bayley and Naomi are to their opponents naturally. They always their oppositions that time to shine with them.

It's such a shame the ref messed up it made Kairi look bad and she was working so hard bumping like crazy. It's her best performance since returning to WWE and that should have been the talking point coming out of the match. The match was far more competitive than I feared it was going to be, I just hope HHH has a plan for Damage CTRL as the live crowds have checked out due to how poorly they've been portrayed (Kairi turning face would do a lot for her though).

People have been shady about Jade since before she got to the wwe. Now she doesn’t deserve a push, now the tag team titles don’t matter because Jade and Bianca have it. Yeah, okay…the goal post keeps moving but I just want Bianca and Jade to do their thing regardless of the haters because they will never be satisfied.

Agreed....plus Bianca & The Kabuki's carried this match. Jade looked lost at times. I like her and she us definitely improving (much better than her 5 minute squash matches in AEW), but she is still green. I still think they should've started her in NXT, though. This match was sloppy. Jade's got a long way to go. Kabuki's will get those belts back. Just my opinion. 🤷🏻♂️
The more i see Jade 's matches, more i apreciate bianca's work cause she's doing ALL the work in these matches so jade won't look Green in the ring like she is! I love jade, but when It comes to in ring quality, she's not even 50% on bianca's level
How is it unfair to have a microscope on Jade? She literally just got to WWE and already worked Wrestlemania and got a championship? I think fans have a right to expect a lot from her given she is one of the top talent now. There are plenty of women in NXT or main roster that have gotten way more criticism for less.

Ref stuff kinda took aways from a really good match. Could have been a squash and no one would blink but it’s better that they made it competitive. Jade won’t trully get over if she doesn’t have good matches a lot of pressure but she’ll be fine.
I’m thinking Jade & Bianca stay as tag champs until around the Rumble. One of them wins the Rumble, then the other freaks out and turns on them. I could 100% see Bianca winning, and becoming on the first 2X Women’s Rumble winner. The next night she goes to announce who she’s going to challenge, but Jade lays her out and they vacate the tag titles.
A plus is any time Belair has a title it will be featured. And all the transitional stuff fans bring up doesn’t matter in the records books. No one call Charlotte transitional and she’s had short reigns too.
I was lowkey hoping Maryse will show up! Oh gosh just imagine if she did! Mother will make cameras topple over, noise alerts will be sent, wigs will be snatched!
Fun fact: I was rewatching the legendary Undertaker/Mankind Hell in a Cell, and after Foley piledrives UT on the steel chair, ref Tim White actually counts 3, goes for 4 and stops himself, and pretends he's stopping a 3-count because Callaway kicked and calls "Two!". So this stuff happens in even the best matches.
Match 1: Solid/serviceable, there was no way Bayley wasn't retaining/would drop the belt so soon. My biggest gripe is that after B & N worked together to double-team/knock-out Tiffy, they believably had a solid 2-3 minutes (while T was unconscious outside the ring) to have some amazing spots against each other in a one-on-one. Instead it wasn't even a one-minute slugfest and reversed role-up.
In hindsight, now knowing Asuka looks like she's hurt, and was hurt going into that match, when she walked off it may have been injury related, so Kairi taking over could have been ad lib and the ref didn't know it. Kairi could have see. Asuka walk off unplanned and just went into calling it in the ring until Asuka came back.
Jade is definitely someone that can compete for the Women’s Championship down the road, and she’s not over hyped at all she’s just got a lot of evident potential and talent so yes there’s a lot of expectation… tbh it was hard to watch seeing Aska and Kairi get the better of her in some situations… but it does give Jade a chance to see what it’s like to be in the ring with people that play dirty… glad to see that they took the win and their titles
Okay, I'm French and I thought the "Simplement 2" ("simply 2") chant was fun the first 2/3 times I've heard it. But then I was like : okaay, we get it. STAAAHP NOW 😭. Absolutely loved the energy tho ! Very epic
It's weird to me because I also looked back to see who was legal, and it was Asuka, but she went to go out of the ring after that sequence that led to Kairi attempting a pin, so the whole thing confused me Anyway, the reason Jade is under a microscope is because WWE put her there to be scrutinized. They hyped her up after revealing that she signed with them, then had her show up to each brand building suspense about which one she'd go to, then they disappeared her for months because she needed to retrain and relearn. So now that she's finally doing something, people want to see if all that was worth it. No other superstar got that kind of treatment in recent memory
I wanted Bayley to be screwed over by Damage Control and make her to lose the belt to Tiffany Stratton, and then she returns to cost Damage Control the titles, and then still keep that fued alive. . .
Zelina really was hilarious when she won queen of the ring and it became her gimmick. I can see the vision for Chelsea it will be iconic shes very entertaining.
I loved the match I thought they all did great. People presume Jade made a mistake because she’s new but I feel like it was the referee who made the mistake but Jade had a hard time to get back into the right place once that happened? It was very loud and I think communicating with Kairi in English while trying not to get caught on camera maybe tricky.
Triple Threat was a palate cleanser. I knew nothing big big would happen. I actually mentally prepared myself for the Bayley counter to Naomi because I've seen similar ones a while back. Tag Team was a complete surprise because I didn't expect them to be given this much time and offense. Big 3/Damage Ctrl been on the road on house shows so the practice and coordination has been paying off. Mistakes happen but it was definitely not a squash like I thought. I just hope this is resolved, I'm tired of Bianca-Damage Ctrl. I hope Damage Ctrl can break up as singles stars once again. Or at least have Iyo and Kairi pair up and serve Stardom high flyers. I hope this helps some tag team angles. Unholy Union at Clash of the Castle could be amazing. Queen of the Ring could be a lot of tea. I'm like 97% confident Lyra's gonna upset Asuka on her debut. Tiffany definitely gonna go far in this. I don't think this is gonna be the baby gimmick tourney they were doing before, it should be a real deal KOTR tournament on both ends.
What happened during the match was Asuka missed a tag and rather than let it go the referee made a big song and dance about it which made them out of sync with the script because kairi needed to tag asuka. Really didn’t have anything to do with Jade. She got a bit lost but her opponent didn’t speak great English and it was very noisy. Anyone without experience would be in the same boat, Tiffany Strattons had some really sloppy moments when her opponents have messed up.

The reason I say Jade is not ready...since RR, she has barely been on TV or in the ring...when she has been, it's been to cut a promo, do a backstage gig, or do a quick squash match. She's being given the Ronda treatment...capitalizing on her signing, and being given a title all too quickly.
I wouldn't have had the Kabuki Warriors lose here. I would have waited until Summer Slam...
That way, Bianca & Jade have time to mesh as a team, cook a bit, and be more well-rounded. There was literally no build-up. They just teamed together. Jade, despite improvement from her AEW days, is still not where she should be. Again, this is why Bianca does most of the work...
Jade is just not there yet. I think it was a bad idea to debut her on the main roster. She should have went to NXT....put in the work.
I think it's a bit insulting to every other woman who has been there for 4+ years when Jade is pushed ahead of them.

I agree that Tiffany was very much the MVP pf the triple threat, but I feel like it was because of how giving Bayley and Naomi are to their opponents naturally. They always their oppositions that time to shine with them.

It's such a shame the ref messed up it made Kairi look bad and she was working so hard bumping like crazy. It's her best performance since returning to WWE and that should have been the talking point coming out of the match.
The match was far more competitive than I feared it was going to be, I just hope HHH has a plan for Damage CTRL as the live crowds have checked out due to how poorly they've been portrayed (Kairi turning face would do a lot for her though).

Yeah it made Jade and kairi look bad and honestly I thought they were the stars.
@R-A-9 Asuka made the initial mistake but the ref making a big deal out of the rules rather than just pretending he didn’t realise who was legal (which 99% of people wouldn’t notice) is what caused them to get out of place and lost.

Agreed....plus Bianca & The Kabuki's carried this match. Jade looked lost at times. I like her and she us definitely improving (much better than her 5 minute squash matches in AEW), but she is still green. I still think they should've started her in NXT, though. This match was sloppy. Jade's got a long way to go. Kabuki's will get those belts back. Just my opinion. 🤷🏻♂️

How is it unfair to have a microscope on Jade? She literally just got to WWE and already worked Wrestlemania and got a championship? I think fans have a right to expect a lot from her given she is one of the top talent now. There are plenty of women in NXT or main roster that have gotten way more criticism for less.
The chemistry between these three commenting on the matches was - in a way - more entertaining - and more interesting than the clips that they show of the matches.
Ref stuff kinda took aways from a really good match. Could have been a squash and no one would blink but it’s better that they made it competitive. Jade won’t trully get over if she doesn’t have good matches a lot of pressure but she’ll be fine.

I’m thinking Jade & Bianca stay as tag champs until around the Rumble. One of them wins the Rumble, then the other freaks out and turns on them.
I could 100% see Bianca winning, and becoming on the first 2X Women’s Rumble winner. The next night she goes to announce who she’s going to challenge, but Jade lays her out and they vacate the tag titles.

Fun fact: I was rewatching the legendary Undertaker/Mankind Hell in a Cell, and after Foley piledrives UT on the steel chair, ref Tim White actually counts 3, goes for 4 and stops himself, and pretends he's stopping a 3-count because Callaway kicked and calls "Two!". So this stuff happens in even the best matches.
Match 1: Solid/serviceable, there was no way Bayley wasn't retaining/would drop the belt so soon. My biggest gripe is that after B & N worked together to double-team/knock-out Tiffy, they believably had a solid 2-3 minutes (while T was unconscious outside the ring) to have some amazing spots against each other in a one-on-one. Instead it wasn't even a one-minute slugfest and reversed role-up.
I appreciate Paloma’s point of view because she explains wrestling in a way that I understand.
In hindsight, now knowing Asuka looks like she's hurt, and was hurt going into that match, when she walked off it may have been injury related, so Kairi taking over could have been ad lib and the ref didn't know it. Kairi could have see. Asuka walk off unplanned and just went into calling it in the ring until Asuka came back.

Jade is definitely someone that can compete for the Women’s Championship down the road, and she’s not over hyped at all she’s just got a lot of evident potential and talent so yes there’s a lot of expectation… tbh it was hard to watch seeing Aska and Kairi get the better of her in some situations… but it does give Jade a chance to see what it’s like to be in the ring with people that play dirty… glad to see that they took the win and their titles

It's weird to me because I also looked back to see who was legal, and it was Asuka, but she went to go out of the ring after that sequence that led to Kairi attempting a pin, so the whole thing confused me
Anyway, the reason Jade is under a microscope is because WWE put her there to be scrutinized. They hyped her up after revealing that she signed with them, then had her show up to each brand building suspense about which one she'd go to, then they disappeared her for months because she needed to retrain and relearn. So now that she's finally doing something, people want to see if all that was worth it. No other superstar got that kind of treatment in recent memory
Jade is her own star in the WWE but I kinda feel like the company is using Bianca to hone Jade’s skills as a wrestler if that makes sense .

I loved the match I thought they all did great. People presume Jade made a mistake because she’s new but I feel like it was the referee who made the mistake but Jade had a hard time to get back into the right place once that happened? It was very loud and I think communicating with Kairi in English while trying not to get caught on camera maybe tricky.
Triple Threat was a palate cleanser. I knew nothing big big would happen. I actually mentally prepared myself for the Bayley counter to Naomi because I've seen similar ones a while back.
Tag Team was a complete surprise because I didn't expect them to be given this much time and offense. Big 3/Damage Ctrl been on the road on house shows so the practice and coordination has been paying off. Mistakes happen but it was definitely not a squash like I thought.
I just hope this is resolved, I'm tired of Bianca-Damage Ctrl. I hope Damage Ctrl can break up as singles stars once again. Or at least have Iyo and Kairi pair up and serve Stardom high flyers. I hope this helps some tag team angles. Unholy Union at Clash of the Castle could be amazing.
Queen of the Ring could be a lot of tea. I'm like 97% confident Lyra's gonna upset Asuka on her debut. Tiffany definitely gonna go far in this. I don't think this is gonna be the baby gimmick tourney they were doing before, it should be a real deal KOTR tournament on both ends.

What happened during the match was Asuka missed a tag and rather than let it go the referee made a big song and dance about it which made them out of sync with the script because kairi needed to tag asuka. Really didn’t have anything to do with Jade. She got a bit lost but her opponent didn’t speak great English and it was very noisy. Anyone without experience would be in the same boat, Tiffany Strattons had some really sloppy moments when her opponents have messed up.
