I was excited to see Asuka back as KANA. Chelsea Green's Santino moment was hilarious, especially when Corey Graves was upset they didn't get a chance to make fun of her husband.
At first I thought the rumble was bad until on rewatch I loved it I realised that this rumble didn’t have to rely on legends to be good and actually paved the way for newer talents to have their moments and still having a cohesive rumble match.
Thank you! So many people were mad that they didn't have a dozen legend spots, but then those same people complain that they don't push the current women's roster.

Agreed but the Royal Rumble has been known for having legends/surprises way before even the women's rumble. Im glad they have enough talent to fill all 30 spots at one time there was only like 10 divas, lol but it's always fun to see the surprise entrants.
Asuka had the loudest crowd pop, following the reveal of the new face paint. Next was Michelle McCool's surprise and a very iconic entrance, I want her to have another title run 😭🙇🏻. Chelsea's fastest elimination will help her with her comeback character. Roxanne Perez showcasing. Very happy with how all women had their highlights, big or small. Piper finally having her name back (will miss Doudrop, a fun character tho!) Juri cosplay of Zelina was amazing! The Way not having their interaction was a crime. Nia having to get eliminated by everyone was a great call! 🥲 The Liv Morgan elimination was brutal! Rhea deserved the win! 🤍 Mother Beth is also back, we won!
this was probably my favourite women's royal rumble match yet! although non will compare to the inaugral but this one's definitely in my top three. from asuka's sickening return with the new aesthetic, to doudrop coming back as piper niven, chelsea green making a dramatic return, nia jax returning at no.30. other moments like zelina & xia, emma & dana, tamina having another random face off, michelle eating another rumble spot, damage ctrl taking control, it was good to see so much action & some nice spots. i even liked the nxt entrants & the final three was SO perfect, i would've tweaked a few things but overall it was a very good rumble match!
I love that in the interview with Rhea after she won, when asked who she wanted to face, she teased Charlotte, Bianca, and having history with the Bloodline. 😝 I mean she's obviously not going to challenge Roman, but it was a fun little tease. I feel like with Naomi, since she didn't return at Royal Rumble, she'll probably return at the RAW after Mania. She'll get the biggest pop there I think.
I finally got to go this year and I’m telling y’all when Michelle’s music hit the crowd hopped up soooo quick! I loved it! And her daughter grabbing her phone and helping her take off her jacket is just so cute!😊
I feel like Sonya Deville could be this generations Victoria. I see so many similarities from the strength they display and their heel tactics, to their strut and promos. If they allowed her to use her strength factor and gave her a powerful finisher, I think she could be a strong heel champion.

There were def a few that didn't need to be in the Rumble, a few boring irrelevant choices. A few spots here and there that could've been freed up for returning legends. It's the legends I look out for and get excited for because it's really the only time we get to see them in ring now unless it's Beth, Trish, Lita etc.
I still wholeheartedly feel like the missing countdown for Nia Jax was planned, it was such a shocker. I was hoping it would be Naomi but I was definitely satisfied with Nia Jax.

I'm really worried about Aliyah. I thought the Royal Rumble would be her return but no. Now I'm scared about her potentially being let go soon :( I really hope she either returns soon or comes back to NXT. She has a great underdog character and I really liked her and Raquel as a team. I really would have loved an Aliyah vs Shotzi feud while Raquel was teaming with her. Shotzi did make her life difficult and bullied her so Raquel just trusting her and getting along would make her a little suspicious. They could have fought over who Raquel should team up with.

Rhea is MAMIIIIIII! I could honestly watch her, Liv, and Asuka go at it again. Their chemistry was so awesome. So thrilled Asuka came back in Kana mode! She looked incredible, and I felt that initial debut intensity from her. I agree with Jaymes in that WWE doesn't have to push the strength component onto Raquel. I think her and Lacey could have a good feud in a "made to succeed through the armed forces" system versus "born to do this through self passion and drive".
