I agree, the land system is actually the worst designed mechanic in any game ever created by a landslide. It actively makes the game infinitely worse to play.

I mean. I agree modern games where every card is a card and also a land is better, but it really isn't that bad if you just put enough lands in your deck. Even in kitchen table magic mana flooding wasn't that much of a problem

I think a way to solve the land problem is to do it kinda like how inscryption works. There should be your deck and then a deck only full of your lands. Each turn you choose to draw a card or from the lands deck. That way you decide between resources and cards and minimize dead draws.
