At the theatre I held my tears thru most of it . I had to clenched my teeth when Drax softened his tone of voice and said " I had a daughter like you" to Phyla but when Nebula told Drax "You weren't born to be a destroyer. You were born to be a dad." I lost it.
@kimfaesfkim8449 Yes and he's good at it but he became The Destroyer after his wife and daughter were killed, to avenge their deaths he was a dad first.
@kimfaesfkim8449 None of the Guardians were comic book accurate. Mantis's co-creator Steve Englehart didn't like her MCU origin and re design . I'm just pointing out where Nebula's dialog in the movie was coming from.
Here are some fun facts for you guys :) -We hear Groot say "I love you guys" because, just as Gamora, we have spent enough time with him and the Guardians to understand him -Drax doesn´t really see Mantis with a "couple love", she´s like a little sister to him and the first to be something close to the girl he lost -When Drax dances with the kids it´s an analogy to what Nebula said, he was made to be a father but he was turn into the destroyer all those years ago and now he can finally be himself again (this one really hits me everytime) -The song in the end is a reference on how the Guardians were always the underdog in their lives and now they have become what they were meant to be and are at peace with their past -The singer of the song actually saw the movie and broke in tears in the final scene for what it meant to her and the band back then and for what it means to the characters
It’s confirmed by the director that the reason we hear what groot says is because we have grown with the guardians and are now part of the group, meaning we understand groot
Original Groot in the 1st guardians movie died. This Groot is like his son, he was not reborn. He does have some memories of the other Groots past life. His race also grows at a rate based on the power levels around him. That's why he is so big in the end credit. The group around him is super powerful. Great reaction video. I still cry everytime I watch this movie. It was so good, probably the best MCU trilogy. 👊🏼
I wouldn't say Adam Warlock wasn't a TOTAL waste in the movie. He's the whole reason why we get to see Rocket's backstory by injuring him in the first place and how we got to know what civilizations the High Evolutionary created which gave us more insight on who HE is. He ties in with the end of VOL 2, cuz Rocket did screw them over with stealing the batteries. And he gets redeemed despite what he's done and we allllll love to see that.
The main problem is that they could’ve had a number of other characters injure Rocket, even if they had to change up the circumstances. As for Quill surviving, it has been shown in the past two films that they have access to specialized space suits (not the puffy ones, but the small ones that create a barrier between them and the vacuum of space); Quill has used that several times. In other words, the only reason Adam Warlock saved him is because James Gunn was forced to include the character in the movie and, as such, took away the space suits for no logical reason. Adam Warlock was unfortunately the worst part of the movie (aside from them sparing the High Evolutionary), but it didn’t detract from this film being one of the greatest MCU films to date

James Gunn did the motion capture for Groot. And speaking of Groot, the "I love you guys" at the end was us as the audience, finally understanding him. (James Gunn confirmed this fact)
Actually Sean Gunn was the mocap for Rocket. In that scene, which was supposedly the final shot, it was James Gunn himself doing the mocap for Groot as a bit of an inside celebration between the two brothers to mark how far they'd come since their childhood dreams of becoming filmmakers.
"My beloved raccoon, this story has been yours all along, you just didn't know it." Best line in the entire MCU. And also a message from James Gunn to the audience.
I bought the comic he first appeared in when it came out (Incredible Hulk #271) Originally he was very different. Imagine a Rocket that DID go with Lyla, Teefs & Floor to 'The New World', but still grew up to be a protector. That was his initial portrayal. His next big appearance in the 'Guardians of the Galaxy' run from 2007 onward, was much closer to his MCU personality. You could consider that series of comics as a kind of Prototype for what the movies were, from Rocket, to Groot to Cosmo (Who was also excellent & I was delighted to see her finally be active.) Originally Cosmo in the comics is a boy but james gunn gender swapped her back to be more accurate to Laika, the og inspiration for Cosmo, though she was a mixed breed of husky and terrier, not a golden retriever. The whole movie was in tribute and awareness of her and other animals that went through cruelty for "the future of science".

In 2009, while my Wife & I were out walking, one of our Dogs was attacked by a Neighbor's Pit Bull. I ended up attacking the Pit with my bare hands to save her life. Our other Dog that was with us had a reaction almost exactly like Floor. It's the shattering of an Innocent's heart, the worst kind of violation.
Hi, I've been following you for some time now, especially for your content for MCU movies, or simply movies that I like. I'm French I mostly understand English, but the fact that you put subtitles is so good for me and for all non-English speakers :) I love you 💗 Also I was so waiting for the moment when you were going to react to the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3, since personally I cried 90% of the film I found this film incredible in every sense of the word and very sad too... This trilogy is magnificent. I was waiting for your reaction since I told myself that you will literally cry the whole video and it's understandable. Thank you very much for all your reactions and courage for the future xoxo ❤️
I like how they had Groot speak at the end. It was basically telling the audience that we've spent enough time with him that we can now understand him 😊
Drax had finally time to shine in this movie! The only heroic moments he had I can think of, when he helped to defeat Ronan in the first film and when he saved Mantis in the second one.
1:20:56 *Jane:* _"I wonder if Vin Diesel is motion capturing."_ *FROM AN ARTICLE:* One last track is played by *Rocket,* and he starts to dance. It's *Florence + The Machine's* _"Dog Days Are Over,"_ one of the purest pop anthems of the 21st century, and according to writer-director *James Gunn,* it was powerful for him and his brother *Sean,* too. In addition to his behind-the-camera roles, *James Gunn* has actually performed in the *_"Guardians of the Galaxy"_* films, doing the motion capture dancing for the heroic tree, *Groot. Sean Gunn,* meanwhile, pulls double-duty in the trilogy, playing the whistle-arrow-wielding team member *Kraglin* and performing in a mo-cap suit as *Rocket.* That means the final scene, which featured *Rocket (Sean Gunn)* and *Groot (James Gunn)* dancing together, was a chance for the *Gunn* brothers to share an incredible moment. _"It was a high point in my life, really,"_ *James Gunn* told the New York Times. _"My brother _*_Sean_*_ is dancing for _*_Rocket,_*_ and in the moment we were shooting the wide shot and dancing toward each other, it was surreal and beautiful and wonderful."_ When the two were dancing, though, it was apparently just like the two were kids again. _"We've been goofing around and playing with Fisher-Price characters since we were kids in our parents' basement,"_ he noted, _"and now we're on the biggest set I've ever been on with gigantic Tinker Toys instead of smaller ones, but with that same purity and imagination we had as kids."_ *Gunn* also confirmed that those of us blowing our noses on our sleeves in theaters when the strings of *Florence's* song came in weren't alone. _"Everybody was crying as it was happening,"_ he told the outlet. _"It was a really powerful moment."_ Even *Florence Welch* herself thought so: in a video that went viral soon after the film's premiere, the musician can be seen bursting into surprised, happy tears while watching the dance scene unfold. Regardless of your feelings on *Marvel,* the *_"Guardians of the Galaxy"_* trilogy, or the latest film, it seems like there's one thing that can transcend all barriers to make filmmakers, actors, and audiences of all ages alike feel like a kid again: *_a good, old-fashioned dance party._* 🤸🏼♂️💃🕺 *EDIT:* I read another thing from *Gunn* stating _this_ *Groot* is not the same *Groot* as in the first film. Closer to being his son, but not _exactly_ that.
Groot will grow according to what he grows around. You noticed how he grew when Starlord was still half celestial, compared to when not, the reason hes so big at the end is becuase hes around Warlock who is extremely powerful and Groot in a roundabout way absorbs that energy
The final chapter of our favorite superhero team, saving the galaxy one last time. It's been confirmed that both Dave Bautista and Zoe Saldana are officially done with the MCU.
Its not Groot from the first movie, he died at the end, this Groot is a completely different person, like a son to the first one. He doesn't have to look exactly as him
Just love you two!! This film is a kick to the groin in many ways, but it progresses the story in a logical way. The original Guardians of the Galaxy was a one-off (set in the future) with characters that really don't appear in the films ... with the exception of a slightly different version of Yondu and Martinex (the crystalized Ravager). I loved the comic when it came out and was disappointed when it did not continue. I felt the revival in the comics was disappointing in comparison, but Marvel has done an amazing job bringing them to the screen. Such a wonderful blend of comedy and adventure, with highly diverse characters and conflict. This film was emotional, especially with Rocket's backstory. Groot came from a "pre-superhero" SciFi era of Marvel comics. Everybody raves about the soundtrack for the three films, but it is seriously my nightmare from Hell .. my least favorite era of music ... I'm just not a pop fan, never have been, and don't enjoy the one-hit wonders they feature, But I am glad everybody else enjoys it. It was so much fun sharing the watching with you. Keep doing what you do, you're a wonderfully fun couple!
I'm very excited for this! One of my favorites and I absolutely love the Villain. His acting fanamanal and he really made you not like the character. Arguably best of phase 4
I was afraid that Drax and Rocket will die in this movie considering that Dave Bautista and Bradley Cooper won't be playing in Marvel anymore after this movie.
I had the mini ipod too. It was a small square piece that came with a little white stand/charger. I actually still have it!! Found it in a box of all my old crap. I was probably in my early 20s when I got it and I'm 40 now
To be fair, Adam warlock was the reason we got rockets backstory when he was dying. So he wasn’t completely pointless to the movie, just sorta useless to the plot
Gamora didn't stop loving Peter, she never fell in love with him to begin with. The Gamora Thanos killed is not this Gamora. She changed sides when Nebula was taken and replaced with loyal younger Nebula and never had a chance to meet Peter before Thanos was defeated on Earth. Peter needed to learn to see her for who she is not who she was in the original time line.
Nebula and rockets relationship is awesome but they were the only two to survive the blimp when everyone was snapped away so makes sense how they’d be so close after 5 years just them grieving over the others
Sadly there are no more Guaudians movies. At least not with the cast back together per say. As for Groot, remember this isn't the original Groot. It's a new version, so he doesn't have past memories sadly. Also when he talked in the end, it was to show that, we the audience, now can understand him also since we now have gotten to know him over three movies. :)
There won't be any more James Gunn Guardians films, and both Dave Bautista and Zoe Saldaña have retired from those roles. Starlord will obviously return in some future Avengers movie, but that's it for GOTG.
Nebula and Rocket have a special connection because they were the only two Guardians to survive Thanos' snap. So, they spent 5 years together that she didn't spend with the others.
OMG!!!!! k when this movie was released in Disney+ I was happy to see you guys post this reaction and I actually waited eveyday well I knew that you warent gonna post it emidiently but i really waited and also i wish i could buy patreon so i could see alot of early reaction! i havent watch your reaction but i will later i just love to share how i feel about it! you guys are my favorite to watch in YT thank you for being here
I cried a lot in the cinema with Guardians of the Galaxy 3, a great closure to this great saga of three Marvel and Disney films, I hope Disney continues to release more high-quality Marvel films because in these years the productions have not been successful! What do you think that most Disney Marvel movies are flops?
Just realized that the only reason the orcorscope people knew to arrest the guardians later then before is because of the high evolutionary assistant must have told them they are intruders. Of course I saw the movie in theatres 3 times and seen so many reactions on this. Love your reaction
At last when Groot..says I love u guys.....the truth is we audience now catch up with Groot so actually he's saying I am Groot buy from now...we audience can understand. ..... that's great
Cosmo is based directly off of the real, one and only space dog Laika. She was a stray plucked off the streets of Russia, she was the first living being to be sent into orbit. It was understood that poor little Laika would NOT survive the mission. Alike was in fact, and always will be. The best dog ever 🌹 (and no, she didn’t look anything like Cosmo) R.I.P Laika dog
I literally cried throughout the movie... loved the movie but can't watch it again cuz it was too painful to watch Rocket's story.. I love raccoons so much so it was even more graphic to watch!!
I love this movie except for one small thing. The anti-animal cruelty message is loud and clear and it reaches its saddest moment when rocket friends are killed. It's a scene obviously made to make you cry, and yet the first thing we see in the very next scene is drax punching an animal and it's made to make you laugh. It succeeds in both, but still, the decision to put those two things back to back baffles me a little bit.
Just pointing out, Adam Warlock, like you said isn't stupid. Not only did he come out too soon, but more importantly he's like 5-10 years old? at most? And since he was extracted to get rocket, I actually would think technically "born" within a few months of the events of the movie. He doesn't have any world experience, beyond the spoiled upbringing and conditioning that his culture provided.
This movie alone is the reason why the MCU isn't over yet. Just because it's not perfect as it used to be. Doesn't mean it can't be again. As far as I'm concerned. We didn't love the MCU because of its perfection. But because of its heroes. Striving to give us the best it can ever be. As long as the MCU has that. It's not over. And they're not losing it's heart. Regardless of what the haters or the RUclips critics says.
Nebula has come around but don't forget, she and Rocket were part of the Avengers for 5 years plust their time together with the Guardians. So they would have spent more time together as long as Rocket has with Starlord.
I'm pretty sure Laika (the dog the CCCP sent to her death in space) was a stray dog.. she might have died of exposition in space or on reentry of her small habitat into stratosphere.. she was the goodest and humans failed her.
Hey Jane and JV, I just got the notification you guys posted I can’t wait to watch but I’m at work and I actually work at a movie theater and I saw guardians 3 opening weekend and I can’t wait to see your reactions ❤️
This movie is an excellent end to a series of excellent films. If you want another movie about a group of misfits working together to take down a villain with a lot of adventure and a dose of emotional writing, Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves is one i think you both will love.
I honestly don’t understand why so many people blame Gamorra. From her perspective, this guy she doesn’t know is trying to make her be someone she’s not just to selfishly soothe his grief. To suit himself. And he doesn’t care what she might want. He just wants her to fit in with what HE needs. Of course she’s angry.
The "I love you guys" from Groot was the audience (us) becoming a part of the guardians. We finally understand him.
We. Are. Groot.
Wait I am a guardian of the galaxy?? But I suck 🥺🤣
The actor who plays the high evolutionary absolutely gave it their all and went completely unhinged it's amazing.
Best Villain performance since Thanos.
@@QuotenwagnerianerWooo somebody said it!
The relief I felt in the cinema after lyla said “but not yet”. I cried so much during this film and still do
Adam Warlock is not stupid he is still a child. He has no experience to draw on. That is why he is the way he is, but he can develop.
@kimfaesfkim8449Drax for a time was a moron in the comics too.
Rockets first words = Hurts...hits me every time
Here are some fun facts for you guys :)

This trilogy is magnificent. I was waiting for your reaction since I told myself that you will literally cry the whole video and it's understandable. Thank you very much for all your reactions and courage for the future xoxo ❤️
Aww thanks!
😘😊
I like how they had Groot speak at the end. It was basically telling the audience that we've spent enough time with him that we can now understand him 😊
Drax had finally time to shine in this movie! The only heroic moments he had I can think of, when he helped to defeat Ronan in the first film and when he saved Mantis in the second one.
I thought he shined in the Xmas special.
Adam warlock wasn't stupid or an idiot he was a baby technically since he was taken out of his cocoon to early
Hey jane and Justin today I am sick and this reaction generally made me feel better
1:20:56 *Jane:* _"I wonder if Vin Diesel is motion capturing."_
*FROM AN ARTICLE:* One last track is played by *Rocket,* and he starts to dance.
_"It was a really powerful moment."_
Even *Florence Welch* herself thought so: in a video that went viral soon after the film's premiere, the musician can be seen bursting into surprised, happy tears while watching the dance scene unfold.
Regardless of your feelings on *Marvel,* the *_"Guardians of the Galaxy"_* trilogy, or the latest film, it seems like there's one thing that can transcend all barriers to make filmmakers, actors, and audiences of all ages alike feel like a kid again: *_a good, old-fashioned dance party._* 🤸🏼♂️💃🕺
*EDIT:* I read another thing from *Gunn* stating _this_ *Groot* is not the same *Groot* as in the first film.
46:24 he’s still alive later on 🤣
Let’s be real “Dog Days Are Over” was such an amazing choice of a song! Perfect chef kiss for an end of just a great song!
I will admit this JV I too cried when I saw the heavenly scene and when rocket came back..
Its not Groot from the first movie, he died at the end, this Groot is a completely different person, like a son to the first one. He doesn't have to look exactly as him
1:13:20 in case anyone was wondering, it says the raccoon batch is from Columbus Wildlife Center
This movie is so emotional, i cried so much
Just love you two!!
It's phase 5 now
1:27:11 actually, the audience is able to understand what that particular, _"i am groot"_ translated to.
I was probably in my early 20s when I got it and I'm 40 now
I like the scene where the High Evolutionary's crew turn on him when they realize he's gone insane, too bad he just ended up annihilating them.
In my opinion this is the best Marvel Movie and Franchise. The acting, the writing, the directing, all of it was top tier.
To be fair, Adam warlock was the reason we got rockets backstory when he was dying. So he wasn’t completely pointless to the movie, just sorta useless to the plot
Jane and jv actress who did the voice of Lila was played by the same woman who plays Hawkeye wife , Linda cardellini
I Didn't Know That
Gamora didn't stop loving Peter, she never fell in love with him to begin with. The Gamora Thanos killed is not this Gamora. She changed sides when Nebula was taken and replaced with loyal younger Nebula and never had a chance to meet Peter before Thanos was defeated on Earth. Peter needed to learn to see her for who she is not who she was in the original time line.
So glad you two got this posted finally. Have a good one
Nebula and rockets relationship is awesome but they were the only two to survive the blimp when everyone was snapped away so makes sense how they’d be so close after 5 years just them grieving over the others
Never thought a marvel movie would be the first movie to make me cry the whole movie 😂
I'm glad they used costumes and practical effects for these animal people.
Not Bemo getting slandered without a change to defend herself. We want to hear her side of the story 😂
Just realized that the only reason the orcorscope people knew to arrest the guardians later then before is because of the high evolutionary assistant must have told them they are intruders. Of course I saw the movie in theatres 3 times and seen so many reactions on this. Love your reaction
Poor Rocket, his backstory was 😭
A truly beautiful film with a wonderful ending!! Also love 💕 you two!!💪😎❤️👍🎉
The "can't" pronunciation correction to Rocket is a reference to him having an english accent in earlier iterations
Groot didn’t learn how to speak English. We learned to understand him.
Drax finally shows his true strength in this movie!
I had / have a Microsoft Zune. I LOVED it! So well made. I actually had the same one as Quill with the Brown and green lining, it was so cool!
And finally we all understand Groot! Also, remember this is a different Groot, first Groot dies in the first movie.
BACK OFF!! GET YOUR OWN SANDWICH!! thank you for reminding me of that i havent heard that in like 20 years
I literally cried throughout the movie... loved the movie but can't watch it again cuz it was too painful to watch Rocket's story.. I love raccoons so much so it was even more graphic to watch!!
You really needed to show the baby raccoons at the beginning for whole movie context
19:45 Patreon?😂 Yeah right, like I'm actually gonna PAY for RUclips content, lolzzz
Been waiting for you guys to watch this! Most wholesome reactors on RUclips.
I knew this was gonna destroy y’all 😂😂😂
Nebula has come around but don't forget, she and Rocket were part of the Avengers for 5 years plust their time together with the Guardians. So they would have spent more time together as long as Rocket has with Starlord.
the ending was so emotional !!!!
I'm pretty sure Laika (the dog the CCCP sent to her death in space) was a stray dog.. she might have died of exposition in space or on reentry of her small habitat into stratosphere.. she was the goodest and humans failed her.
Also the director James Gunn said this was his last guardian flim he’s directing so possibly this is the last guardian movie
Hey Jane and JV, I just got the notification you guys posted I can’t wait to watch but I’m at work and I actually work at a movie theater and I saw guardians 3 opening weekend and I can’t wait to see your reactions ❤️
I was in the theater balling like a baby watching this movie
This movie is an excellent end to a series of excellent films.
If you want another movie about a group of misfits working together to take down a villain with a lot of adventure and a dose of emotional writing, Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves is one i think you both will love.
I honestly don’t understand why so many people blame Gamorra. From her perspective, this guy she doesn’t know is trying to make her be someone she’s not just to selfishly soothe his grief. To suit himself. And he doesn’t care what she might want. He just wants her to fit in with what HE needs. Of course she’s angry.
