I used to hang around in Cosmo canyon just to soak up the atmosphere back in the day, I actually cried as a child when Nanaki found his dads statue in the caverns and found out he didn’t desert the canyon. Not ashamed.
oh damn, thats how it went down! I forgot the plot of that arc by now but there was such a strong emotional attachment to the music from when I first experienced that as a kid 23 years ago. Definitely had tears also
i had tears as well.
To be fare I think Everyone cried at that part.
If anything Nanaki learned what kind of Valiant Hero he was to the bitter end.
I actually found that the most emotional part of the game (moreso than Aerith's death). For so long Nanaki had always hated his father, who died alone protecting the canyon. I remember holding back those tears! Can't wait to see how they recreate that scene in the remake.
Experiencing Cosmo Canyon in the second part of the remake will be a deep spiritual moment

@@vanpiisu88 it hit me in the feels when they played a snippet of the cosmo song in FFVIIR as Nanaki met the group. I'm going to take my time and really savor Cosmo Canyon in part 2. My wife watches me play, and she'll probably hate how slow I'm going to want to go lol.
The way they did this first part, I bet meeting Seto and discovering the truth will have a more elaborate twist and a deeper impact in part 2

This is my most favorite part of FFVII. The scenery, the music, Nanaki's story and his father. Gives me peace

Thank you for this. The memories of my adolescence are not fun but while I wasn't being bullied or abused, I played video games alone in my bedroom. FF7 music always gives me comfort.

I went through many shit ups and downs because I asked a colleague to go out or join his party (back then in 2012) anyway... I defeated my fear for once, I wasn't accepted at first, but in the end everything went fine for me, still being alone tho, but found some friends, and likeable colleagues... anyway, long story short
go out, you won't regret it, at leat not fully, because in your room alone, you won't experience life man . . . I had my first gf with 25 and thats really really late, but hey, at least I tried ;-)

Yeah me too! I want the music to sound as awesome as it was in the original. In my personal opinion, I want it to give off that Native American vibe, because that’s what I felt when I heard it for the first time on the original

Have done on many many occasions. When my golden retriever was put down when I was 11, the first thing I did was polish my ff7 disc and load up cosmo canyon. I cried for more days than I care to admit. No dog has ever replaced him.we would just lay down in bed and listen to this track.

i was teenage when i am playing ff7 when it first come out in my country and now i am in my late 30s..i cry when i am listening to this.. its has been over 20+ years .. when i play this game my dad was still around. now i am alone...
This will always be the defining theme of FFVII everytime i think of the game i think of cosmo canyon and this themes always playing and this remaster really captures the spirit of the original and updates it to todays standards very well done. 😉

there is something about the music and the space that it takes place in in the game that gives one peace... in some of my hardest hours ive found myself humming the cosmo canyon theme and finding immense peace in it...
Doing the same thing now! Calms me down alot. Same with Tifa's theme.

@@cherrydragon3120 I would love to see cosmo canyon in the third remake of the game. I hope the second would go up to Junon. As i think they can get way much more story line out of the other city and the phoenix bird place. And with all the backstory that is gonna come out of all the characters.... who knows. one can only hope to get a very big Final Fantasy VII Remake game.

Always loved Cosmo Canyon. It was the "nexus of understanding" in FF7. It was always the place where everybody figured everything out. People, planet, spirit, magic, science, all were connected in Cosmo Canyon.
Totally! It really felt like the group bonded in front of that fire....and we learn the truth of Nanaki's heroic father. I always remember how Barrett made a comment that AVALANCHE was going to go there when their missions were done. :(

This is actually really good! I don’t normally enjoy re-orchestrated or remade versions of songs, but this is really well done and sounds to me like it could have been what the original was aiming for, and might be similar to how it originally sounded uncompressed.

これを洋楽器で演奏すると、夕方の南米のアンデス山脈のイメージになり、和楽器で演奏すると、日本の夕方の祭り会場みたいなイメージになる。
いずれにせよ、本編でもコスモキャニオンでのイベントが夕方から夜に掛けて行われるので、曲も「夕方」をイメージしているのだろう。
