100% man, the level of nostalgia is insane. Cosmo canyon was the first time I was introduced to a lot of the ideas that grew into my entire world view later in life, it holds a very special place in my heart

33 years old and I teared up when I walked into Cosmo Canyon, was so happy they kept the music for this place, was 7 years old when first played Final Fantasy 7 still one of my favorites all these years later.
So many hours as a kid just standing in Cosmo Canyon listening to song repeat over and over again. Even after all these it's still what I do whenever I replay the original.
What a throwback to the time when I was a child. Little did I know back then that this worry-free time never come back again. As I entered the Cosmo Canyon and heard that music, i've got shivers down my spine and instant tears in my eyes. I wish I were this little boy again to feel nothing than a bunch full of joy. 😢

For me I didn't get to play Final Fantasy 7 until I was in college and they had the original on ps4. My only experience with FF7 was through Kingdom Hearts, Advent Children, and Dirge of Cerberus. Still hearing this in game was so beautiful. I may not have the childhood memories most have with this game but I do have a love for it even if I was very late to the party with the original.

Cosmo Canyon’s theme is the best town theme in any game ever and hearing it in rebirth when I first stepped over the bridge was fucking magical. I teared up hard. I can’t believe how perfect it is.
Finally... they did it! a remake that brings life and meaning to each character and environment... the music is pure Nostalgic and sends shivers across the whole body with memories reminiscing throughout the mind from when I was a kid back in the late 90s on the original FF7.... 10/10 a bloody perfect remake and game in itself. The way they built up getting to Cosmo Canyon in rebirth! Amazing! They hyped up the flight to go straight to it from Gongoga, and we allk knew it was gonna be Cid flying! And to just get flown to it knowing we were almost there! The path through the canyon seeing all the signs and fighting familiar enemies, The hype building as we knew it was right around the corner!! screw the chocobo mission, take me to the Canyon! Sing me the song!! what an incredible re-experience!!! They really outdid themselves with this one!

EVERYTHING about this video makes me happy. Brings back so many memories. In 1997, I was 9 years old when FF7 was released and got it for Christmas. I even remember the commercial saying it was one of the first games that had +3000 different color :-). A real milestone back then. My father also used to translate all the dialogues for me, as I didn't understand any English. I (and several of my friends) played this game for many years to come and finished it at least 10 times with all the side quests included. I'm quite sure I know literally every hidden secret/detail of this game. From time to time, I still put on the FF7 soundtrack in the background when I'm working. It creates a certain atmosphere that can't be matched. Just want to say I simply LOVE what they did with the remake! I'm going to buy a PS5 soon just for this game alone.

Cosmo canyon has always been one of my all time favorites. I was not expecting this. Bravo, square enix.
when I made it to this part of the game I cried tears of joy, cosmo canyon was always my favorite in the OG. Esp the moment with Red XIII and his father.
I dknt know what it is ever since i was a kid hearing that tune just made me feel at home in some way it takes my soul to another place yhat is like home 🏡 ♥️

I was 6 years old as i watched/played it to the first time . Now I was expecting & waiting for this 25 Years now ! I wished as a kid how imagen it would be if they create in the future a Playstation 5/6/7 and Put a Remake of the FF7 with better graphic and more on it with more powerfull Music ..... And now?
