I like to be the first one to comment on on your channel Ryan, I'm such a big fan of yours and I am sure you are even better guy in person. Hope to be able to meet you one day in the near future. Thank you for all your content and making Street Outlaws a better show with Shawn. Great job 👏 👍.
Could not have said it any better myself. Ryan Martin is a class act.
Ryan and Shawn are just as nice, and awesome in person as you'd expect
When I first saw the Chevelle I was happy Ryan was building something everyone can ride in.
What a beautiful car!! Also the shop talk and genuine banter between the guys is one of my absolute favorite about these type videos
I appreciate the behind the scenes I enjoy watching the build hearing the shop talk.so much the show doesn’t show.lol. So thanks
Can't wait to see this dominate hopefully 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I thought you picked a great car and the build was awesome to watch, enjoyed watching the family take part also
Can't wait to watch part 2 of this !. So much curious to see race between Your chevelle and Aiden's !🤔
Ryan is THE MAN! And Richard Rowe you doing great work!!!
Thanx for this dude
Nice small tire and good luck tomorow in Tulsa I believe in the no prep season that stating this weakend I be watching 👋👋👋
Such a good looking ride. Aidin looking at this like 🥹
The build was great. Been waiting to see you make some passes in her. Funny seeing you film the film crew.
This 20 minute video is better than the episode too
Thanks. More to come!!
@@FireballCamaro of course! Pretty disappointed in endgame so far, your episode has been the only one watchable
Ryan yall kill it always. But i will say im super jealous of this car. Great job. You built a unicorn for all of us!
Let me guess...they just won a race car didn't they?!
Pssshhhh!! Lol
Love the video!! But man that car is clean!!
It’s pretty refreshing watching your Chevelle car build after watching JJ’s Nova build. Night and day.
I can't stand JJ and didn't tape his episode. What was he doing? Acting the fool and cheating? That's his MO
@@Wheres-Wolfie Chevy II Nova.. primer grey, all the chrome painted black. Kept the same engine in it that had massive pitting to the top of two pistons, all he did was break it down, clean it and rebuild it with the same parts (including both said pitted pistons) and then added 2- stage nitrous.
@@Wheres-Wolfie - I echo your sentiments and usually don’t watch any of his shows. I watched this show only to see what he built to compare against the others.
You actually think JJ is running that wore out engine with pitted pistons? I'll bet you also believe that all he did was add a little timing to "get it right"! 🙂
@@scottlemire8522 watch the end again. Different motor, different suspension and a whole front clip. Which he did mention is passing before. He also mentioned maybe getting fibreglass doors which I can’t see if he did in the show. However that engine is not the same. Now. Is that him, or the production team cutting out all of the extra work, who knows but he wasn’t going to be using the engine it came with.
Outstanding
Such a nice car. Hope you win a lot of races!
Absolutely beautiful Chevelle (that '62 looks pretty cool too!). I was sooo happy to see you guys covered the front fenders 'n jack stands. We see often times fellas don't do that,, I don't care how hard we try to NOT SCRATCH the car when working in the engine bay,, the happen. Zippers and belt buckles, dropped wrenches/screw drivers,, scratches are gonna happen if ya don't protect those parts. Good on ya Ryan or Jave, whomever made the decision to protect the fenders 'n frame.
When u was in the chevelle u was smiling like a kid in a candy store good to see people happy
I noticed that too
🔥 the best
Cool boys!!
Best build so far
Congrats on the 100k subscribers Ryan
That car is a beauty.
Nice car!
Nice bro
That's the best Muscle Car you'll ever own. Cherish it.
Those rims go with that Chevelle so damn well. Pacific Northwest Approved✔
I soo agree Trip,, I'm a PNW'er too (Olympia, Wa)
@@quickdeuce Liberty Lake! (Spokane)
BEAUTIFUL CAR!!!!
Congrats on the 100k subs 👏
Everything he is taking off I would put on my 1970 C-10 in a heartbeat! Engine check wheels check Rear end check......... ect. You cannot hide money!!!! But you are still my favorite driver! LOL
Hey Jeff how we got window cranks off was clothes hanger bent in a tight loop then straight with a 90 slide behind twist then pull without buying a tool, works perfect. Great looking Chevelle Ryan I like the color.
Man oh man what I wouldn't give to have my old Camaro back before my ex wife convinced me to sell it. Great content! Love the channel. Keep up the good work gentlemen.
By the sounds of it you should of got rid of the exwife sooner
Man that is a really nice Chevelle. Looks like you got the right car. I say it was worth it
Such a beautiful car wow. A dollar a scratch? Nah, you could charge them just to look at that beauty. 😜😂
Love that 62
Boy u can tell it was cold with everyone with jackets on !! Nice car !!!
Hell yea brother!!
Man that car came with nice upgraded brakes too. That was a good deal you got
Congrats on 100k
Hey Guys
Good to see Ya All
Sure would like to do some of that sometime
Pretty little Chevelle Ryan
Have a great weekend
Check my page
Show ya a normal week over here
Not much time for anything else
To quote Johnny Tran from the Fast and the Furious... "Somebody put in the wrench time". That is one gorgeous car.
Just like watching the first episode
Mr Lutz came up in the grandstands in NC and started taking to us, I didn't know who he was then. He'll remember they did the first ever 4 wide jet cars. There was a team running a centrifugal blower off the crank back then, he was having problems with the shaft snapping..
If jj did this they would show both motors he installed lol . The last one was installed with no plate bolts lmao
That was the biggest insult to our Intelligence I've ever seen, are we really supposed to believe that he rebuilt and installed that Engine, I'm so so sick of listening to JJ cry poor mouth.
Ryan... I'm a day 1 fan of yours, but a 1st time commenter. You are a champion because of your and Javys' dedication and commitment to perfection. The next time JJ (who I also love, but for adifferent reasons) wants to talk smack about money, or million dollar crews, please remind him his Memphis " Family " is about 30 mofos to bust ass and help him. You and Javy...occasionally we see an extra hand...ARE THE PROGRAM. Ok, I'm done. Y'all rock! Much love here from the lakes west of Austin.
The calmness that overcame Lutz when the jack handle slightly smacked the rear quarter panel.. let me re-phrase that, The RAGE that came over Lutz when the jack handle slightly smacked the..
Indeed,, both the Lutz gents are OCD. We can tell that when we see their equipment,, they're fussy as hell which is a good thing :)
@@quickdeuce definitely what makes the cars so good. It’s almost like the life drops from his face as disaster brushes by!
Don't forget to replace your ignition pump, and put you some new wheel cylinder sensors with a new master cylinder filter to make them brakes right. Make sure you get the right exhaust pressure regulator for that LS setup.
Great Video so how bad was the floor scratched up when you were done ??...car looks great watched the tv show ,, love BTS also
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️that car
That’s my favorite car of all time
That is one sexy beast, I've got to give you credit, when you put your mind to it, you build one h#ll of a car, can't wait to see it run, always first on race day, good luck,,
70 chevelle is my dream car . I got a 70 Elcamino instead 🤓
My one regret from my younger years was selling my 71 Chevelle. This is just a damn beautiful car.
Thunder snow is pretty normal here in Buffalo NY.
Love the Chevelle. But on another note. Is it possible to get a comparison of the Fireball Camaro and the Grey Camaro? What makes the grey one better at NPK and what makes the Fireball better on the street? I know one engine is set back further and the NPK car has bigger blower, but what are the other differences? (Without giving out secrets obviously). Love to see a video on that.
The Gray one weighs a lot less
If your going to do sound deadening in there get the spray on quicker and you will get in the hard to reach and any cracks
You can get the window cranks off too by just getting a rag and running it between the crank and door panel and going around the entire crank with the rag. It will pull the clips right off so you can take the crank off.
Damn that car is sexy!
Well if it aint the Ryan Martin fireball howdi brother how's it going beautiful nice cars can't wait to meet ya one day you big chief AZN everybody 😂 that's part funny that's y he out ran me and Luts a true OG farm truck monza
👍👍🇨🇱
That is a nice car to start with but it helps to have some money no matter how you got it even though Ryan worked hard as hell for his
Second skin is a really good deadening to spray
We used LizardSkin. Awesome product
@@FireballCamaro o yea lizard skin is another great product
Hey Ryan, I’m not sure if word has gotten back to you yet or not, I know sometimes communication gets a bit slow when things get busy so I was just gonna let you know that Discovery had called this morning and said their cameramen would be forever grateful if you could take just a small portion of winnings from just one race and put another lift in the shop there. Evidently one of them wasn’t too happy about trying to fit under the chevelle with that big camera and was requesting hazard pay
Use Drones.
That was sure a simple engine pull compared to JJs Three Ring Circus with 6 or 8 people hollering and freaking out lol.
The car is great. I'm not real hip on the rims on it. But the car as a hole is great.
Hey Ryan what’s with the snow on the ground it’s August man.
How much for those parts you are pulling off?
Someone get Lutz a step stool!
First thing i was tought when working on an a car like this is no belts...
First #1
How can you charge your friends if they scratch your floor when they come over to help out? Lol 😆 🤣
You can take a shop towel and take those window crank off with that
Why were lutz and Javi competing to cut sheet metal. grinder vs plasma on top of a sheet metal shear that’s made to cut metal 10 times faster than both of those methods?
But not as cool as grinder definitely not as badass a plasma.
The Fireball Bu
Who's 4th gen is that back there?????
What year Chevrolet was that again
Seeing all the other car I think you brought a gun to a knife fight.
Are y'all the Martin brothers that did the biker build off some years back and do y'all still have that bike?????
I found it hard to believe that Big Block only made 300HP on the dyno? What is it a 396 / 402? You pull 20 degrees of timing out before hand, Lol. That was a nice build though, nice job. IDK though, JJ got that 70"s junk yard 350 says gonna kick your ass.
Well it is going to make 500 - 550hp on just motor... I really need to find out who he buys his drugs from if he thinks that is going to really happen. I suspect they actually swap engines. Did you notice one minute while they are putting it in, it has a factory dual plane intake, next shot while still on the engine crane it has a single plane Edelbrock Super Victor?
When you put next video
It's so amusing to me that you find it "surprising" to find Asbestos in 50's, 60's, 70's Muscle Cars (or any other cars manufactured in that era for that matter!!!!) Your exposure is "extremely minimal" compared to mine. I "Lived" with Asbestos for 30+ years of my life, and am very happy to report...I'm still here. By all rights, after over 3/4 of a century here working with Asbestos daily for roughly the first 2/3 of my life!?!?!?!? I guess I'm lucky to be here!!!! The fact some are surprised to see asbestos in "Vintage Muscle Cars!?!?!?!?" I just do not get it!!! Sorry...I guess this further proves I'm Waaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyy Too Old for this channel. (Just for a point of reference!?!?!?!? When I was a teenager, Hamburgers were $ 0.15 at MacDonalds!!!! There it is.....)
Is that your brother in the passenger seat in the beginning of the video
Yes That is Matt Ryans Brother
@@FireballCamaro ok. I thought so you two look alike
Whoever built that car the first time I’d like to know their names for the car looks beautiful I mean you could literally eat dinner off the bottom of the car
Where's the Caddilac Ryan used in the daily driver race?
Still got it!
He probably had to build another car for the show. Makes more content and more shows.
What is the new Chevelle name ?
My all-time favorite muscle car. Nice build brother!! And I can't wait for NPK this weekend. TEAR THEM ALL UP ONCE AGAIN!!! GOOD RACING and stay safe!! Oh yeah, ben, zay, and jay are my grandkids. Not that it matters but yeah toby903.
Where the haters at saying these hot rods cost to much and it doesn't relate to the so call blue collar fans...ofcourse these guys aren't gonna build a $10k hot rod if they do there gonna be slow and won't be able to compete. People got to understand a 400/500hp hot rod is the thing of the past it time to move on....Ryan you built one bad to the bone hot rod my friend it's so awesome.
There are two ways to look at it. You can buy cheap like JJ did and while it is cheap, it will remain cheap. What Ryan bought is not cheap (someone has spent a lot of money on it) but provided nothing happens to it, and he keeps it in that condition it is an investment. Sometimes it can work out cheaper to buy someone else's hard work where they have already taken a loss on their labour. Provided you don't start swapping out expensive parts, sometimes dear can be the cheaper way in the long run.
I remember Mc Donalds, 20c Hamburger, 22c cheeseburgers, 20c French Fries, 38c Milkshakes...
Steve Morris makes a Ls engine that makes upwards of 3,500+hp
My dream car but at 54 and being disabled it’s going to be a pipe dream. But I don’t give up hope because you never know what God is going to do!!!
Let me come and do a ceramic coating on the beautiful paint for free
So if that's your shop.... where's the shop that the camaros are in??
That's the shop at his new house and the other one is the commercial shop AFAIK.
There is real car guys and THEN there are those that stand around and watch...
I thought these were supposed to be Cars you drive yet it's in a trailer.
I'm not for sure which shop you're working in right now but there's no car left or engine Jack that seems a little strange
is that purple underwear with Pickle's on them
But why….. why start with such beauty?
Thats a nice car they are stripping
