I have two Govee H6072 lamps and they are excellent. I placed one on each side of my A90J and the ambience they produce is stunning. Assembly was easy and they connected to Alexa and wifi lightning fast. They connected so incredibly fast that I was unaware that they had done so. Usually connecting devices to Alexa and wifi is a chore, but not with the H6072. These are the latest updated models and they leave nothing to be desired as far as versatility goes. The app is excellent and you can play with it all day. Before I bought the Govees I purchased a Ibaye floor lamp and it is a piece of garbage. It doesn't connect to its app or wifi so I just use it as a regular lamp. I had always resisted mood lighting because it's something that I didn't think I would like but I was totally wrong. I wanted Hue lighting in the beginning but they didn't have anything that I liked. I now wish that I had gotten into mood lighting sooner because I enjoy it immensely.

I'd kit out my living room with them so I don't need to turn on the big light. Already done my pc room but with the old lights, just got them up and they released these m1 lights :( Govee are the best around atm.

My problem is that I live in a military barracks, I can’t use wifi for all the smart home stuff so I’m looking for something with manual control or simple Bluetooth, I bought a lot of cync but none of it works in my room sadly. If this does not use wifi only I am getting this immediately

I use addressable LED's with wled software on a ESP32 and they are great !

Fyi they have released an M1 light strip that is compatible with the Matter standard for interoperability, which I believe means it will work with apple homekit out of the box.
It’s long, but what if you want to cut it into sections and use it in different places? I’m sure it only comes with one power adapter and controller. I haven’t been able to find those separately, are they available? Can the govee app detect all those different “zones” and have the ability to create groupings?

Don't the product is garbage, and if you do get it from Amazon. This product such trash they don't want it back on refund. Junk and waste of time/money.

My only issues with all these LED lights...are the wires, i want to set up acoustic wall frame and have led lights on the side of the frame but my question would be how to hide all those cables..

all govee wires are white! so it's not that bad if you get some double sided nano tape and put little strips to hold the wires straight in a line or in a corner or along the floor you'll figure it out, or like you said just cover with acoustic panels or get creative
omg thank you this system solved all my issues. did I hear you say that I can turn off lights on certain area of the strip and it will turn on to complete the strip. aka saying part of the light strip can be turned off and continue to the rest of the strip? Am I understand this correct?

I've picked up a 65.6' set of Govee, and didn't need the last 10' of Nodes. Can I buy just the Govee controler? and power supply so I can use the last 10' some where else?
They need to make the cut-points less than 1.5ft. It’s the most frustrating aspect of these, not being able to cut them every 2 inches or so. 😤

To keep it simply can you select two colors and have it fade back and forth? If you select different sections of the strip can they alternate fading back and forth?

But only available in 16 or 30 ft right? And you can't cut them? That's a deal breaker right there for most people!
You can cut them, and unlike previous models, the animations get updated based on how many lights are left on the strip.

NO, if you cut the strip that part is dead! but there are plenty of brands that are DIY I think BTF is one of the best DIY led brands, because you have to buy your own controller for the strips that you make, BUT you can cut EVERY LED! WITH BTF STRIPS! shoot I even thought of doing all that myself, but that just was extra work that I didn't want to deal with, govee is for people that don't want to deal with strip building. so yeah just for the casual person that doesn't want to deal with strip building and setting up controllers, govee is much easier with the govee home app on your cell phone and plug and play!

yes and the warm white/ cool white/ white, is just fine! I know because I own them and other govee stuff 3d hexa pro panels are fire too!

Sounds like a really dumb question but you can cut these down to size right? Also can you cut multiple strips off and have them work? I want lights on the back of my monitor, under my desk and along the base of my wall. Can I do this in a single strip cutting off separate sections?
You can cut but up to 9. Something meters and you can only connect up to 32ft there on Amazon

Nice video! If you have a 5m strip and cut the strip in multple size and stick them in various areas, do you need a separate power supply to each strip?
Good question. One I need the answer to as I want to cut and extend lights over a cooker hood so they go under kitchen units. Either side of hood. I'm guessing 1 power supply and use extension cable to rejoin cut pieces of led strips. But I'm guessing atm. Hopefully you will get your answer soon
Yes as many gaps as you like they even update so know they have been cut and if you have extention pieces or the skill to cut on the solder and re solder then you can have massive gaps if you like also i found it incredible they don't lose brightness or functionality These are the Best RGB kit iv found recently you could build similar cheaper if you know how to match the voltages and wire them up etc but this is awesome in my opinion

We have corner light diffusers in our Studio that we got from Amazon and they are great so we also ordered some LED strips and hung them in the diffusers and 🤦🏻♂️🤢🤮....they are like 2 inches apart which I'd hoped the diffusion would hide but nope...awful awful 😞. Also the controller has 2 outlets but the colors are different ...even with the exact same strip LED lights...ugh. Does Govee have some that are really close together so they look like solid light???
All high-end ledstrip use more Leds per meter. Amazon has those too. Govee M1 uses a good amount of Leds per meter so you won't have an issue with diffusers or Leds being too far apart
