I don't let people get close to me or tell them I have Lymphoma, Neutropenia and other stuff! If I tell people that I know, then everytime I see them then the chances are, they instantly associate me with Cancer - and I don't want that, for many reasons. My strenth comes from within, and I've made it that way. I cannot rely on anyone, even the people that were once very close to me. I stopped trying to work out "people" many years ago and I don't allow them to cloud my mind in their words, and actions - this way I can fucus much better on "me" and not focus on what might be going on in other people's minds. @@gzlmichelle Physically I'm doing pretty well! The mental aspect, however, has been tough. You'd expect me to be living it up now that I've finished the transplant but this entire treatment process has been so traumatizing and between that and the relapse fear, I find myself being held back from enjoying life to the fullest if that makes any sense.
Christina is at day 3 of chemo at City of Hope....your videos have helped me....her mom. I do thank you. Christina has anxiety also, and you speak of anxiety, it presents a clear picture of anxiety.
@@gzlmichelle we just took pictures together.....you know selfies! She is still looking kinda good but feeling kinda awful....tomorrow is her birthday....reborn....rebirth....transplant DAY! she knows, that the hardest days are coming up....she is getting ready with her colorful headscarves!!!
Christina is nearly at 21 days in the hospital for stem cell transplant, the entire treatment is very very difficult, made much worst with having your born birthday the same day you go completely bald. Christina's blood cells numbers are going SO THE TEARS OF SADNESS OR TURNING TO TEARS OF JOY.

@@gzlmichelle Wow.....she made it HOME! yes, home for three days and today she went outside for a tiny brief walk. Interestingly, tonight we spoke about the three month scan....and is this the scary time that you pray the stem cell is a success, when is that time, is it 3months or 6 months....when is first scan ??
