@@freespiritwithnature4384 All cancer cells produce beta-glucosidase, an enzyme which splits sugar molecules with a cyanide group (cyanogenic glycosides, CGs) into cyanide and glucose.
Normal cells have the Rhodanese enzyme, which destroys cyanide (in low concentrations).
Cancer cells do not produce Rhodanese, so are much more vulnerable to cyanide.
Cyanogenic glycosides are found in many seeds. f.ex. apple seeds.
Some seeds may have very high content of CGs, so it is important not to eat too many.

silvergreylion so eat cruciferable veggies but not seeds??? I thought chia seeds had immense amounts of cancer fighting fiber? So which is it?

@@bperez8656 Fiber stays in the intestinal tract until excreted, so only has an effect on cancers of the intestine/colon.
Where did I write "don't eat seeds"? - I think you misunderstand my post; CGs "target" cancer cells, by way of the present/non-present enzymes.

I went through treatment for precancerous colorectal lesions for 3 years before I stumbled upon this video. It had gotten to the point in my treatment where my doctor stopped sounding hopeful and had begun sounding genuinely concerned each time she performed the exam and noted that the lesions had returned, each biopsying as precancerous every single time. It was at that point I started searching for videos on RUclips about it and at some point Google suggested this one. Given my science and technical background I am skeptical by nature. I am especially skeptical of nutrition as cure (though I do believe in nutrition as prevention). But the argument she made in this video, backed by very well spoken evidence on the backbone of biological sciences I already well knew to be true had me convinced that this was worthy of personal experimentation. I used to buy broccoli sprouts at whole foods co-ops when I was young and vegan, so I was no stranger to them anyways, but it had been probably a good 14 years since I bought them (usually because the alfalfa/onion sprouts I typically preferred for sandwiches were out of stock). I bought a 1 lb bag of broccoli seeds on Amazon along with sprouting lids for my mason jars and grew the sprouts and put them on every sandwich and salad and in every fruit smoothie I made before my next 3 month appointment that summer. Every 3 months for 3 years my doctor would have to biopsy and then take a blow torch to these purple precancerous lesions inside my rectum. I cannot tell you how literally bloody painful the next month is after each treatment. But that next treatment after putting broccoli sprouts on everything I ate for 1.5 months was THE FIRST time the lesion biopsies returned NOT precancerous. It was absolutely too coincidental not to have some correlation.

    • @Scootir185
      @Scootir185 3 года назад +23

@@smidefix8147 It’s simply eating the least processed versions of fruits, vegetables and grains as much as possible. So a salad would be a great whole food dish - basically raw veggies with washing and some simple cuts as the only processing. An Oreo on the other hand, even though it’s technically made from vegetable products, is pretty much the opposite of a whole food. If you’re interested there are lots of good books on the subject, but part of it’s charm is you don’t need to overthink it. Just walk into the produce section of your grocery store, and make as many of your meals as you can just from that part of the store. Whole grains (e.g. brown rice instead of white) and as little sugar as possible. I started after reading a book called “How Not to Die” by Dr. Michael Gregor.

Worth trying for a few months or do you think absurdly pointless? Because a human wouldn't be injecting or getting as much sulfuraphane as the mice in the study and I think I've heard DMSO is so good at getting things to penetrate the skin it even lets bacteria penetrate it so certainly would get sulfuraphane in the local area I bet.

I love cauliflower, brussel sprouts, and broccoli! I eat them as often as I can, along with grilled organic chicken or wild salmon. I also love a good kale salad. I take raw organic kale minus the stems, roasted pecans, fresh cracked black pepper, salt, extra virgin olive oil, grilled chicken with garlic and herbs such as sage, thyme, and rosemary. And add a little toasted casabe. What you get is an incredibly delicious and healthy salad. Highly recommend.

It's one of my most in-depth videos ever! For that reason, I've also included a "timeline" in the description that shows ALL of the various things talked about in the video. Feel free to skip around... but then go back and watch the whole thing. I encourage you to share this video with your friends and family.

I just read about sulforaphane's effect on H. pylori. I had stomach problems for decades, until last summer when I was lucky enough to be bitten by a tick. The doctor put me on an antibiotic for 20 days. After two days my stomach all of a sudden felt a lot better. Although the drug he gave me was only one part of the combo to kill H. pylori, taking it for at least twice as long, plus already taking a couple of other important medicines, it seems to have done the job.
It took me a number of days of online research to finally find the answer. Now I have another way to fight H. pylori if it ever tries to come back!
Doctors are intelligent, and usually caring, but there is simply too much for them to know, remember and apply, not to mention all the problems that get in everyone's way when trying to do their job perfectly every single day. We must be our own first line of defence by keeping our eyes and minds open to new possibilities.

I remember stumbling on this video 4 years ago(22/23 years old at the time); I dont know how exactly I found the video, but I immediately went ahead and added broccoli sprouts to my diet and even convinced my mom and we daily drink it for years now. She is diabetic and over 60 now; not very health-conscious in general and I believe it has had tons of positive influence on her health so far.
As for me I've been struggling with depression since a kid and since adding broccoli sprouts all those years ago my depression has become very manageable. It also had a very positive influence on my cholesterol since my blood-work is similar to that of a "young god", a joke my endocrinologist often loves to make during my bloodwork.. regarding age? I'm going into my 30s now but I feel and look like an early 20 year old still...so I'm very happy and privileged to have added this to my life. I was so into this that I tried to tell and share it with my family or friends but they didnt really seem to care, sadly.
I'm very grateful for your work and what influence it had in my life. My life is not really a party like most, but at least I can be proud of my health; athletic, no health issues and even passing stools have never been an issue anymore.... haha

I was like you, I found whole food at 18 yrs when I went vegetarian. I had to stop eating that way after all the carbs and lack of fat put me on the doorstep of metabolic syndrom. That's resolved now due to people like Dr Patrick.
One question for you... how did your full post show when most posts show 4 lines maximum? ?

Even if you don't sprout: just eat your vegetables, including cruciferous.
Personally, I love using the steamer basket you can insert in a pot with a moderate amount of water. My favorite "go to" is the lowly cabbage. Advantages: it last longer in it's fresh state (just peel off leaves that get bad); it's inexpensive; and it is easy to chop up. Not to disregard broccoli sprouts pointed out by Rhonda Patrick, PhD, nor the other cruciferous vegetables, but I always have a head of cabbage in my refrigerator.

@@NathanSmutzThe bible as you know speaks in parables, the bible speaks of Sulfur at least 30 times and mostly in different ways with "many" different perspectives.
However the "Temple of God" is within you as well as the Kingdom of Heaven, (depends on "Your" intent to be able to SEE it within yourself)
Taking Sulfur kills all sorts of parasites that live within you/us, especially the "intestines"...If the body was a map of a kingdom/place or heaven, then the intestines would most likely be "Hell" (i.e "The belly of the beast, which is you,me, everyone")
If you Nathan are to intake %99 Gold powdered Sulfur it just may look like "Brimstone" falling down ur esophagus down into the stomach and then traveling down towards your intestines... At least itd look like this to a very small creature or parasite inside ur gut/body...

Well anyways, "There are many perspectives and parables in the Bible"... It also says that "My people parish bc of lack of Knowledge" (& the ◇hunger◇ for it)...
      "Seek & YE shall find"...🕊🌾⚜🤓

@@NathanSmutz the Bible does NOT totally speak in parables. Many PLAIN OUT FACTS.
Jesus said "If you have the FAITH of the amount of a grain of mustard seed, you can move mountains".Ask HIM and TRUST HIM TO DO IT,and YOU WILL HAVE IT.
Google where its at.Ive experienced this MANY times in my life.Ask HIM and trust HIM to do it and HE DID IT.LOVE HIM !

Been eating broccoli sprouts for 6 months, don't need to use Viagra anymore. Inflammation is a known contributor to erectile dysfunction.

Well also wood is known to show a precursor to heart disease ( blocked arteries... ). You got a lot of blood flowing down there so it’s a sign to see what’s coming. Why is everyone eating the blue pills and 1 in three people have heart disease..........

This has got to be the BEST informative video on RUclips. I’ve learned so much and it made me excited to eat more cruciferous veggies. I reversed lupus by eating raw cruciferous veggies and omega 3’s(fleshly ground flax seeds and chia seeds)

Hemp hearts (on the shelf next to chia seeds) are another great omega 3 / fiber / magnesium / potassium supplement that's easy to add to just about any dish with zero prep

I tried to cure a tumor on my parrot's neck. You can bring the broccoli sprouts, but you can't make them eat it. He passed away. But his brother always loved broccoli and sprouts, and he is tumor free. Never got a tumor.
I'd like to add, the brother with the tumor liked sweet (sugar) foods, the brother without the tumor liked salty foods
