@@HealthierThroughProstateCancer BTW ~ When I was back in my hometown in Assiniboia, Saskatchewan the I overheard a local saying with prostate cancer saying that the local doctor to him to eat as much raw garlic that he could possibly stomach. I never did follow up on what happened to that farmer other than people said that farmer just smelled like garlic wherever he went. However, when I was teaching in Calgary I was also good friends with the school's janitor. I told him the story and he said that his niece was also diagnosed with breast cancer and a Calgary doctor told his niece to do the exact same thing and come back to see the doctor in 3 months. She did the garlic thing and reeked like garlic for 3 entire months as she was eating 12 ~ 15 big cloves of raw garlic per day. After 3 months she went back to the same doctor for breast x-rays and the breast cancer was completely gone. I can assure you that garlic does work as I have eaten raw garlic every time I have hemorrhoids about to start and within 6~8 hours the hemorrhoids are completely gone....
@@HealthierThroughProstateCancer Well isn't pasta, or carbohydrates in general, not the best, because they tend to more readily turn to sugar in the body, and sugar feeds cancer?

I am a 72 year old recurrent prostate cancer person. I had proton radiation treatment eleven years ago which failed. Currently I am conducting my own experiment which includes intense exercise (which I've always done) and a strict mostly plant based diet. My diet includes large amounts of lycopene from my wife's homemade sauce, flaxseed, tons of organic fruits and vegetables, fish, some organic chicken, nuts and while grain cereals and bread. I'm eating no red meat, no dairy, no egg yolks, and zero alcohol. In addition I take orgovyx ( an oral form of ADT) for one month every four months. My latest PSA is 1.2 despite a Gleason score of 7( 4+3.) Thanks for the informative videos, I wish more of the medical community stressed diet and exercise to help treat prostate cancer.
Kiwi fruit is great for cancer progression, also try tumeric. Flaxseed though can cause estrogen esp the non organic one. Also try pomegranate and organic cranberries.
I would also back off on intensity running before the test. I never did that because my doctor told me that only riding a bicycle will raise your psa. Wouldn’t it be nice to do your psa test at home? The street of going to a doctors really messes with results!
Great video. Thank you doctor. I love my tomatoes and my tomato paste and associated sauces. I have some every day and am past 81 years of age, and feel great.
My PSA started rising rapidly after a relapse from radiation treatment I started low sugar Tomato ketchup and at my last PSA test it had stabilised. After increasing my dosage I'm hoping it will have reversed the progression. Tomatoes are life lifesaver.
Hey there, thanks for sharing your experience with managing your PSA levels. It's quite intriguing to hear how incorporating low sugar tomato ketchup has played a role in stabilizing your PSA. Tomatoes really do seem to be doing wonders for you - they're like the unsung heroes of the vegetable world! Your approach is a great example of how small dietary changes can potentially have a big impact. Tomatoes are indeed miraculous! Plus, opting for a low sugar version is a smart move for overall wellness. In addition to tomatoes, there are other lifestyle changes and dietary tweaks that can support prostate health. Think along the lines of balanced nutrition, regular exercise (even something as simple as a daily walk can do magic), and stress reduction techniques. Each little change adds up to a bigger picture of health and well-being. Keep up the great work with your health, and here's to more positive updates in the future!
I cook a large pot made up 1/2 canned tomatoes and 1/2 of tomato paste with good doses of olive oil. Puree it a bit. Cook for 20-30 minutes. Add water to taste, turmeric, ginger, pomegranate powder. Poor it into 6-7 jars and freeze. Take out one every week or so. I drink a glass every day.
Hi Greg, thank you for your comment and that's really amazing to hear! I'm really glad my video helped you! How are you going now? How is your prostate and your PSA?
I eat tomatoes every day, I don't know if they will stop me from getting prostate cancer, I just know that I like eating them, 76 years old and doing just fine at the moment..
Charles! I just replied to your other comment. Amazing! Do you drink that every day once a day? How many tomatoes? Will you share the recipe with us please?
@@klecoxs2 hi, cooked tomato products have been shown to be more effective than supplements in some studies, and that's why I recommend eating cooked tomatoes products than taking supplements. It's also cheaper and tomatoes provide other health benefits than just lycopene. However, if they irritate you, e.g. leaky gut or urinary issues due to their acidity, then taking supplements is fine, I would just increase the dose. I have a product I recommend on my website. I typically work my my clients and see what they eat and when, to try and get them to consume at least 40mg of lycopene a day through various foods. But doses that I will prescribe from tomatoes vs supplements will depend on different things such as their dietary needs and habits, the stage of their disease, and current treatments.
I mixed 12oz of boiled water with 6oz of organic tomato paste, and added 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil. It came out delicious, like tomato soup. I guess if you wanted to make it a drink you could add more water, 2 to 3 cups.
Hey there, @earledward5763! Thanks for sharing your tasty creation with us - your tomato soup sounds absolutely delicious! 🍅😋 And guess what? Pairing this with some gentle exercise, even if it's just a short walk or some light stretching, can make you feel stronger and more energized.
I heat up small store bought cans of tomato sauce and eat with spoon. Also add some turmeric, cayenne and black pepper. Tastes pretty good and from everything I've read, doing this regularly can benefit you.
Hi yes you are right, I have a benign enlarged prostate so I eat Tomato puree on my toast every day. I also take 4 natural supplements to bring my P.S.A numbers down which has been working fine as the numbers are down from 10.5 to 4.9 and that was six months ago so hopefully they have reduced further. I have also managed to get myself off all of my big pharma medications for underactive thyroid, high blood pressure and nerve pain issues after back surgery. Im 65 and i stopped smoking 6 years ago and I've been a vegetarian for the last 3 years and I'm also gluten free which has helped big time.
I get organic tomato paste and mix in minced garlic, cayenne pepper ,organic lemon juice and Olive oil.I eat it by the spoon or put it on whole grain bread or cracker.I try to eat it everyday.
Sun dried tomatoes have more lycopene than any other form of tomato. I soak several pieces in organic cold pressed extra virgin olive oil and organic unrefined pumpkin seed oil.
Thanks for dropping that tasty tip, @Rob! While I am not a fan of vegetable or seed oils, I always go for extra virgin olive oil, sun-dried tomatoes are like little sunshine packets for your health. Sun dried tomatoes are interesting because they have been heated (thus making lycopene more bioavailable) but not to the extreme to destroy the rest of the nutrients, and they still have the flesh on them which contains the majority of the lycopene. You're on the right track with focusing on lycopene-rich foods. Remember, it's these small, smart choices that add up to big health victories. And while you're soaking up the goodness, don't forget that a little movement goes a long way too. Even a short stroll can start to make a difference. Keep up the great work, and here's to your health being as vibrant as those tomatoes!

@@HealthierThroughProstateCancer Pumpkin seeds are highly valuable for enlarged prostates. Their oil is also. It's more convenient, loaded with zinc. I'm talking about organic, unfiltered oil, cold pressed. Please don't conflate this with the bad things you hear about seed oils or vegetable oils that are highly refined and used for cooking. The pumpkin seeds themselves have a lot of phytic acid, which inhibits the absorption of minerals. Their oil is a way around this.

Thanks for a great positive video. I was diagnosed prostate C, medium grade 2020 by a urologist here in Philippines but never followed any allopathic protocols like the surgery he prescribed nor even the hormones. I have followed various natural protocols, Dr Robert Morse, ( only eating a diet of raw astringent fruits to assist the kidneys in filtering, acid sediments from lymph system, but lost so much weight after 5 months resumed eating everything, Breathwork and visualization meditation per the teaching of Dr Joe Dispenza. Now I'm on a keto diet, per the work of Prof Thomas Seyfried to starve mutant cells of glucose eating meats, fish, eggs, non starchy green veggies, herbal teas, with anti cancer properties along with Fenbendazol daily. Now I'm including lots of tomatoes too, and tomato paste with no added sugar in my cooking. I love it and its tasty between intermittent fasting. Your video is helpful and I have subscribed. Thank you Johnny for your kind words. I really like your determination and your discipline. A few of the things you mentioned like the fruit only diet and the keto diet are too extreme in my opinion and I would never recommend as they would either be very low on protein or would not allow for key foods in the fight against prostate cancer like cruciferous vegetables or tomatoes. Thank you for sharing the info and would love to hear more from you
@@HealthierThroughProstateCancer thanks for input. The fruit only has a specific purpose. According to the teachings of naturepath Dr Robert Morse in regards to kidney filtration. Metabolic wastes clog the lymphatic system and kidneys fail to filter them due to acidosis. The diet of astringent fruits only causes our system into greater alkalinity ( according to his teaching) I tried it for months. Then did a dry fast and was amazed by sediments that my kidneys filtered which can be observed in pee jar. Morse attests that cancer is the result of acidic burning in tissue. I don't claim to know the science. I just try things. Right now I'm doing home made cream of tomato soup in a base of coconut milk and beef broth with moringa. It's amazing delicious. I can add mushrooms and cruciferous too of course. I just try things. It's been over 4 years since my diagnosis and so far so good. I'm dry fasting too for a couple days along with water fasting. It all helps. Breathe ❤️💚👍

I drink half a cup of pasta sauce a day. My PSA dropped from 4.18 down to 3.20, so it was a pleasant surprise to find something that actually works. But all these canned tomato products have 4gm of sugar per serving. So that's the only negative I see with daily intake.
Hi Gary, thank you for your comment. Make sure you buy cooked tomato products that do not contain added sugar. However, you're right because tomatoes by nature contain sugar, so when you create a product that has concentrated tomato, it will have sugar. If you combine it with protein and fiber, it will slow down the absorption of sugar and thus make a much smaller increase to your blood sugar levels. Let me know how you go and I hope this helps!

Lycopene is mention probably over a 100 times during the video. Is it the lycopene or the whole food of tomatoes, that carry many other antioxidants, that are what's causing the positive outcomes? When I look up antioxidants within Tomatoes there are a bunch of them! My understanding of a vegan or plant-based diet is that it's the sum of the parts and not just one thing. You can't make a Ferrari with only the steering wheel ;) although I'd take that steering wheel!
You're very right Frank! It's not just the lycopene, it's everything in tomatoes that creates the effect - especially in cooked tomatoes! It's the combined effect that is much greater than the sum of their individual parts!

I want to take your advice but tomatoes are considered a nightshade fruit which is inflammatory to some people like me. What makes them inflammatory is the alkaloids such as solanine that they naturally contain. Having said that, if I eat tomatoes, is there something else I can take to eliminate the solanine from the tomatoes? The alternative is to take Lycopene supplements without the solanine of course but Im not sure how effective they are.
I haven't heard that before, and I do not think the amount of tomato paste that I recommend in the video in conjunction with physical activity and a healthy diet would be inflammatory. In fact, tomatoes are a big part of the Mediterranean diet which is an anti-inflammatory diet. However, if you still have concerns, I provide some other food options in the video to get your lycopene from.
You have got to be kidding me about "nightshade" fruit. Fast, train, and do not eat red meat of any kind and you will get healthier and probably a little smarter.
Dr. Georgios, I love your videos and approach to the subject of prostate cancer. Your references are impeccable, too. I had a PSA of 525 in March, 2023. Now around 1.6 at end of October, 2023. I've been on ADT's: Orgovyx and Nubeqa. Also been on Lutetium trial. I have the 5th and 6th infusions pending. I'm metastatic. Bone scans are encouraging. However, the side effects, mostly psychological, are hard to take at times. I fight them off with exercise, B1, D3, Calcium, Magnesium Glycinate, and a solid dose of Melatonin at bed time (some excellent research on the effects of that on metastasis, too). This information about Lycopene is fascinating in terms of how much more potent tomato paste is as opposed to raw or cooked tomatoes. I always cook them: I will definitely step up the amount of tomato paste I use even with other vegetables. My ultimate mission is, though metastatic, to get off the ADT's once the cancer has withdrawn, and "manage" the condition with other alternatives that prevent the creation of blood vessels that feed cancer cells plus the other half dozen benefits you mentioned. I'm 61. So far I've managed to retain and even increase muscle mass all over, including stomach area; the ADT's have not adversely impacted libido or erectile function for me; and I'm still as active as ever in terms of work. I do suffer from bouts of fatigue (amplification of worrying about things), and I have my dark nights where I'm quite depressed, but I usually pull myself out of this with phone calls from loved ones, strenuous exercise (weights and fast walking/running in spurts), and my diet is free of sugar and pretty much free of carbs. I eat veggies mostly, in particular broccoli, spinach, kale, parsley, tomatoes, fennel, arugula, red cabbage, avocado, purple yams, spices/herbs such as Zaata, Cumin, Tumeric, Black Pepper, Cardamom, Dill Weed, Sumac, Saffron, and Ginger. The only meats I eat are sardines (almost daily), cod liver, and salmon. Oils I use are avocado oil for cooking, olive oil, and some sesame oil. I also eat a fair amount of tahini, and take white button mushroom powder, flexseeds, cod liver oil, collagen peptides, and amla powder. The nuts I consume regularly are walnuts, almonds, Pili nuts, macadamias, and pistachios. I also add whole cloves to white, black, and green tea, and usually chew the cloves, too, and swallow them. Other additions are Ground Lupin beans, White Sorghum Millet, and sauerkraut. Just thought I'd share this here and would love to hear from anybody else who is also metastatic -- what are your dieting habits and coping mechanisms?
Thank you so much for your kind words and for sharing your personal journey so openly. Your story is incredibly inspiring and a testament to the resilience and strength that men like you embody. The improvement in your PSA levels is remarkable, and it's great to hear that you're finding some of the information on this channel helpful, like the tips on lycopene. I'm thrilled to hear that you've managed to maintain your muscle mass and libido despite the challenges of ADT and metastasis. Your proactive approach to managing both the physical and psychological symptoms is commendable. Your diet is quite impressive and rich in anti-inflammatory foods and essential nutrients, which is excellent. I plan to make future videos for a few of these foods in the future. Also great to hear that you got on lutetium. Getting completely off medications while metastatic is not standard practice and I would encourage you to keep following the advice of your medical professional along with the exercise and nutrition. However, I am very hopeful for you not only because lutetium is very effective at managing metastatic prostate cancer, but also because you're doing such a fantastic work with a healthy diet and regular exercise.
@@HealthierThroughProstateCancer thank you. It means so much to me that you took the time and made the effort to reply. Thank you so very much for this most informative video. It was very much appreciated as my husband has prostate cancer. .There is just one thing I am not clear on . Do the tomatoes have to be cooked to release the lycopene, are raw tomatoes just as beneficial ?
Hi thank you for your kind comment, I'm glad it was useful. Raw tomatoes are beneficial, but once you cook them, the lycopene becomes more absorbable by the body. So yes, cook them. Products such as tomato paste, juice, sauce and passata are already cooked (check ingredients to avoid added sugars or vegetable oils). Combine with a teaspoon of raw extra virgin olive oil to make lycopene even more absorbable. Good luck!
@@HealthierThroughProstateCancer I cannot thank you enough for the information your video gave, It was the most detailed analysis of what this particular food actually does to cancer cells when consumed. In fact, while most of us had probably heard that lycopene was good for you if you have prostate cancer we certainly didn't know why, well at least I didn't. It just seemed to fall under that wide umbrella statement that we hear all the time,,,, "Eat more fruits and vegetables ", Your video was on another level altogether and it gave me hope. My husband's cancer has reached the metastatic level and it's in the bones. I am looking for whatever I can find that may help him, in addition to his standard medical treatment for his stage now. Your video was brilliant. However, you know it saddens me that raising the vital importance of diet with Oncologists is almost an exercise in futility. They utterly dismiss diet, as possibly being a game changer, or even a significant contributor to outcomes. Its mind boggling to me patients can't really even talk to their doctors about diet. I would think that doctors would want to get into the complicated subject of food science instead of relying entirely on conventional medical treatments for cancer, when they are failing. We are not winning the war on cancer, in spite of the billions of dollars that have been spent in research over last 40 or more years on it . Anyway, I thank you for your kind reply Sir, and once again many thanks for what you are doing. I think it's very important. "Let food be thy medicine, and medicine be thy food " who said that? Hey there, thanks for your suggestion about doing a video on Diindolylmethane (DIM) and its role in estrogen metabolism. It's always exciting to dive into the science behind these things, and you've pointed out a fascinating area - the way DIM influences the conversion of different types of estrogen is indeed a hot topic in the health world! DIM, found in cruciferous veggies like broccoli and cauliflower, has been studied for its potential effects on hormone balance and overall health. The conversation about 16 hydroxy and 2 hydroxy estrogens is especially relevant when discussing hormonal influences on conditions like prostate health. While I can't cover all the intricate details in this comment (that’s what a full video would be for, right?), it’s definitely an area worth exploring more. Nutrition and its impact on our bodies are like a vast ocean of discoveries, and it's great to navigate these waters together. Stay tuned for more videos, and keep those brilliant suggestions coming. Thus, the evaluation of new non-toxic compounds in BRPC-M0 patients is warranted. PectaSol®-Modified citrus pectin (P-MCP) is a food supplement categorized as GRAS (Generally Recognized As Safe) by the FDA. It is a competitive inhibitor of the galectin-3 protein, which is involved in cancer pathogenesis. In an early report of the present phase 2 study, P-MCP treatment for 6 months led to prostate-specific antigen doubling time (PSADT) improvement in 75% of patients with BRPC-M0. Herein, we report the second long-term treatment phase of an additional 12 months of P-MCP therapy (4.8 g × 3/day orally) in patients without disease progression after the initial 6 months of therapy. Of the 46 patients that entered the second treatment phase, 7 patients withdrew consent and decided to continue therapy out of pocket, and 39 initiated the second treatment phase. After a total of 18 months of P-MCP treatment, 85% (n = 33) had a durable long-term response, with 62% (n = 24) showing decreased/stable PSA, 90% (n = 35) PSADT improvement, and all with negative scans. No patient had grade 3/4 toxicity. In conclusion, P-MCP may have long-term durable efficacy and is safe in BRPC-M0. We know about dairy products. I think I know your answer, but what do you think about drinking organic pasture raised/grass-fed whole milk? Still gonna be inflammatory for the prostate?
Hi Clint, thank you for the question. I advise all of my clients to reduce dairy consumption as much as possible and if possible completely eliminate it. It's not only about inflammation, there is a lot of evidence to show that dairy, especially full fat, increases the growth of prostate cancer. While supplements can provide lycopene, your body often prefers the version served up in tomatoes. Short answer: No! Tomatoes come with a whole team of nutrients and fiber, which can work together in ways we're still learning about. Lycopene from tomatoes is MUCH more effective than supplements. Plus, the process of cooking tomatoes actually increases the lycopene your body can use - talk about a bonus!
@@HealthierThroughProstateCancer I am considering taking 750 mg of lycopene supplements (one a day), are there any studies that recommend or disadvise? Thank you Dr.

Hi @a.j.rainey3024, thanks for your comment. I am not able to provide any advice on that, I'm not a medical professional, and in general it's best not ask for medical advice over the internet. I can't say I have read anything about Fenbendazole but thanks for making me aware of it. Most studies on anti-parasitic medications on prostate cancer are on Ivermectin derivatives such as Eprinomectin, but these are very novel experimental applications, and the findings have not been widely verified yet, or even tests on humans via proper trials.

Hey there, thanks for reaching out with your question about managing an enlarged prostate and the role of cooked tomatoes and other foods. You're taking a proactive approach, which is fantastic! Eating cooked tomatoes is a great start since they're rich in lycopene, a nutrient that's thought to be beneficial for prostate health. But it's a bit like a puzzle - nutrition is one important piece, but there are other pieces too, like exercise and lifestyle habits. While these steps can significantly reduce risks and support prostate health, it's important to remember that nothing is a surefire prevention method. Remember, staying in touch with your healthcare provider and getting their input is super important. Keep up the great work in taking steps towards your health, and many thanks for joining the conversation!
Best type of tomoato paste with no sugar is from a Persian grocery story. One ideal brand is SERA, which has 0 sugars. Comes in large glass containers that are 25 oz/700 g's.
I would recommend getting products that have almost zero processing. Just get organic tomato paste, passata, or juice made from real tomatoes with little to no preservatives or additives. If they don't contain cooked tomatoes, you can add it while you're cooking so the heat makes the lycopene more bioavailable. I hope this helps!
Hi John, thank you for your comment. Unfortunately, lycopene supplements are not nearly as effective as cooked tomato products. Is there any specific reason you would like to use supplements instead of just eating tomato paste?
Hi Mohammed, thank you for your comment. Lycopene supplements are not nearly as effective as using cooked organic tomato products like tomato paste especially when combined with raw extra virgin olive oil. Why are you considering supplements instead of just eating more tomato paste?
What about supplements? Like 10mg capsules. I noticed that the capsules I take have soybean oil and corn oil. Guess it’s better to take it in the form of tomato paste. Would it be good to heat water and then add tomato paste and extra virgin olive oil and a pinch of salt to make healthy lycopene drink?
I mixed 12oz of boiled water with 6oz of organic tomato paste, and added 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil. It came out delicious, like tomato soup. I guess if you wanted to make it a drink you could add more water.
Lycopene (isolated) supplements have not clinically demonstrated effectiveness against prostate cancer. Processed whole tomato products, such as tomato paste, HAVE proven to be effective against prostate cancer. I eat Tomato paste everyday. :)
Pizza is indeed a very yummy food, especially when you are at organic tomato paste and a bit of raw olive oil on it. However, I advise all of my clients to reduce dairy or eliminate it if possible because it has been shown to increase the progression of prostate cancer even though it is very yummy! You can replace it with a non-dairy alternative. You can check out my website if you want any support. Thank you very much Peter.
If one has prostate cancer or enlarged prostate, eating tomato paste is best b/c tomato paste is a highly concentrated form of tomato sauce. Just mix with some Olive Oil, fresh garlic pepper, oregano, basil, and rosemary spices.... Make a nice pizza sauce spread on toast or bagel!
Yes! Great advice, and I love that recipe! Thank you!

Hi Gary, thank you for your comment. Make sure you buy cooked tomato products that do not contain added sugar.
1 teaspoonful of turmeric per day.
You have got to be kidding me about "nightshade" fruit. Fast, train, and do not eat red meat of any kind and you will get healthier and probably a little smarter.
Absolutely correct, tomatoes are of the nightshade family and are poisonous by their very nature despite containing antioxidants, avoid unless cooked.
The actual tomato is horrible for you if you HAVE arthritis, I've read and heard. Not sure
Who is this person. Rally enjoyed this info.
Hi Fred, thank you for your kind words!
I would like to get off the ADT's eventually, but wouldn't do so without serious consulting with my very good oncologist. I just find it difficult psychologically being on the ADT's. They definitely impact my mental state. I'm usually quite an emotionally balanced person. Now I have my bad days where the anxiety gets a bit much. But I'll be OK. Again, Dr. Georgios, thank you.
Hi that's impressive your journey but if I were you I would stop eating all the nuts they're very high in arginine which feeds the cancer in the prostate.
Do your research on arginine and prostate cancer.
Best of luck
very informative thanks Dr
My pleasure!
Great video

Cooked tomatoes 🍅 👌
:-)
Can't remember his name.
Sat Saheb ji 🙏🙏
Does frying or grilling normal tomatoes count? Many thanks in advance.
It helps the absorption of lycopene, to cook tomatoes.
Yes! thank you Joe @joeskeptical4762 !
Please do a video on Diindolylmethane and the conversion of 16 hydroxy estrogen into 2 hydroxy estrogen iirc. There is a world of good science there.
Your curiosity and eagerness to learn more is what makes these discussions so valuable!
@@HealthierThroughProstateCancer Thanks for the warm response, Nature's Way and Nature's Plus offer DIM but I think the prior has enhanced absorption and bioavailability hopefully Liposomal DIM will become a thing allowing for reduced dosing and enhanced therapeutic effects.... much like Liposomal C, Curcumin, Ivermectin, Quercetin, CBD etc. Liposomal nutritional supplements are making many other interventions obsolete and that's a good thing. 👍

Herein, we report the pharmacological effects and targets of ivermectin in prostate cancer. Ivermectin caused G0/G1 cell cycle arrest, induced cell apoptosis and DNA damage, and decreased androgen receptor (AR) signaling in prostate cancer cells. Further in vivo analysis showed ivermectin could suppress 22RV1 xenograft progression.

Abstract
The optimal therapy for patients with non-metastatic biochemically relapsed prostate cancer (BRPC-M0) after local therapy is elusive.
In conclusion, P-MCP may have long-term durable efficacy and is safe in BRPC-M0.

thank you great video..
Glad you liked it!
Thank you so very much 👍👍👍❤️
You are so welcome!
excellent film
Add that better choose cherry tomatoes as the lycopene are mainly concentrated in the skin of tomatoes.
Happy new year! THat's smart indeed! Smaller size more surface area for the lycopene-rich skin! If you are going for raw tomatoes, cherry or grape are better than big roma tomatoes (and more yummy) but tomato paste is still the king!
Thanks very much
Thank you!
If possible try to replace with something that is non-dairy. I hope that was helpful and not very disappointing! Thank you
For how long you would have to take Lycopene to see any effect?
Just start eating more than 30 mg a day as I say in the video and let time do it's magic! Mediterranean diet is delicious!
Thanks buddy 😊
Welcome 😊
What is your take on eggs? I really enjoy them for my first meal of the day. The protein helps me feel full and not feel hungry before my second meal. I am trying to be low carb.
Eggs are mostly fat not protein, but very nutrition. Eat them in moderation though (up to 1-2 a day), and make sure you always get the healthiest possible (i.e. pasture-raised with low count of chickens)
@@HealthierThroughProstateCancer thanks so much for the reply. Appreciate the info you are providing in your videos.
You Can Cook Tomatoes In A Vitamix Like Soup.
How about taking salt free Tomato Juice would that do the trick.🤔
Yes it would, enjoy!
I found LYC-O-MATO in capsules and I take one a day.Do you know this supplement? Is it useful?
Thanks for the comment, I'm not sure about this supplement, but I have a supplement I recommend on my website if you wanted to have a look?
I hate tomatoes but I can do tomatoes paste or sauce.. recently diagnosed with prostate cancer but I'm also taking soursop bitters and tea.
Good luck Ken, there's a lot you can do! Yeah please try to have tomato paste daily and prefer brands with no sugar or oils added to the ingredients!

Can you drink tomatoes juices every day, will it do the same
Hi Will, tomato juice has less lycopene than paste, but it does have a lot of lycopene indeed! Yes, do drink juice every day to get that lycopene!
Do supplements provide the same benefits?
Hey there, thanks for your question about lycopene supplements versus the real deal from tomatoes or tomato products. It's a bit like comparing a photo of a sunny beach to actually being there!
Please is tomatoe paste with a bit of sugar okay for the prostate?
Sugar feeds cancer...so use monkfruit instead if you need to add sweetness
Yes, its fine as long as it's not added sugar, just the natural sugar from the tomatoes

Majority of Fen Ben/cancer research from India. US Med Universities now testing it.

Serenoa repens herbal roots, available as capsules, reduces benign prostate size if taken 160mg x 2. Allopathic medicine has accepted this naturally-occurring remedy
@@HealthierThroughProstateCancer Many Thanks for the advice. much appreciated.
Is V-8 juice the same as tomato juice and is tomato sufficient for daily intake?
Best type of tomoato paste with no sugar is from a Persian grocery story. One ideal brand is SERA, which has 0 sugars. Comes in large glass containers that are 25 oz/700 g's.
I would recommend getting products that have almost zero processing. Just get organic tomato paste, passata, or juice made from real tomatoes with little to no preservatives or additives. If they don't contain cooked tomatoes, you can add it while you're cooking so the heat makes the lycopene more bioavailable. I hope this helps!
Is there also a benefit in using lycopene supplements?
Hi John, thank you for your comment. Unfortunately, lycopene supplements are not nearly as effective as cooked tomato products. Is there any specific reason you would like to use supplements instead of just eating tomato paste?

What are the foods?
Cooked tomato products
What about supplements? Like 10mg capsules. I noticed that the capsules I take have soybean oil and corn oil. Guess it’s better to take it in the form of tomato paste. Would it be good to heat water and then add tomato paste and extra virgin olive oil and a pinch of salt to make healthy lycopene drink?
Always prefer real food to supplements! Keen to hear if your drink recipe tastes good, and I'll give it a shot too!
Thanks you for a prompt reply. Peace and Creativity. I will make drink/soup tonight and let you know how it goes.
Thank you my brother that’s an excellent report. God bless you.
