All in all, another great video and can't wait for the next one!
Oh dude thank you so much, I really need to learn how to use hardpoints, missiles, and bombs! Also torpedoes would be SOOOO cool, I'd love a video of torpedo bombing with a prop plane, like ww2 Era. Keep up the great content man, love it
The hardpoints aren't too difficult, it's the armament programing that is a bit of a challenge. Really all you need for the hardpoints are the two pieces, electricity to both (not through), and a trigger to either release (drop) or launch (fire like a missile or rocket) whatever's attached. If you launch something, it activates any on/off logic that is connected to the armament's side of the hard point. If you release, then the hardpoint just disconnects without triggering anything, like dropping an external fuel tank. So for something like torpedoes, bombs, and missiles you'll want to launch. For external fuel tanks, release. That's the 101 of hard points, but you can do so much more with them, like drop "relief" supplies on a parachute package via a sensor system after "launching" it. Just practice with something simple like external fuel tanks and non-armed rockets and you'll get the basics down really fast.
@@steeljawX thank you so much for the help! My issue is that I can't even get my creations to spawn in without the things attached to the hardpoints falling off
You could've placed the missiles on the very tips of the wings, like the Starfighter, I think that would fix your mobility issues. *however they don't look merely as strange and interesting as the top mounted ones lol*
If this were real life, I imagine some of the jet fuel from the missiles could be used for a tiny bit of extra propulsion for the plane when the afterburners are on just to make it a bit faster.
There's definitely more noticeable bugs with the DLC than without. I'm looking forward to a stability hotfix because it's a fun add on, but if you can't build anything before it crashes, it's kind of moot. But technically, Frantic, couldn't you have just attached those missiles to your fighter without hard points and become an even bigger missile? (aka kamikaze) I mean with them being as big as your fighter, they're practically just volatile rocket boosters.
Thank you dude, now i can make anti-tank missiles! :D Making a big hefty tank would be so cool, like an Abrams or Leopard 2A4, so please? And please make the cannon manually loaded Great content man, keep going
Are you talking about the a10 warthog? It's for close air support. the darn things are built like tanks. Some call them ugly but I think they are awesome looking.

we will miss the search and rescue days i used to play stormworks ill never forget the rescue missions
Amazing video
You should try making cluster bombs next, I think that would look incredible
That sounds like an awesome idea :D
@@FranticMatty thanks
Not gonna lie a missile that doubles as a glide bomb is pretty sick just a homing glide bomb in general would be cool
Boom!💥
hey,the Jaguar interceptor had sidewinders mounted on top of wings,so its been done irl,its just rare.
You should build a ship destroyer
Ps love your videos keep them up
How did you have add the missile to the jets build area at the start because I really need this for a project I'm working on
“Today we aren’t building anything, but we are adding missiles to my fighter jet.” So technically building something
And this kids is one of the reasons missiles are mounted underneath the wing
Because gravity pulls things down

Hey Frantic, try revealing the map for the crashing issue. Supposedly it's caused by radar FOV going past revealed areas of the map.
Try making a warhog attack yet
Hmmmm?
