I've noticed that autopoles can become loose over time and fall down. The locking mechanism seems to only keep the pressure for a while. So you need to regularly check that they are still putting pressure on the floor/ceiling. Other than that they are great.
The sidius and neewer app is annoying because every time I turn the lights on or off it has trouble connecting or takes forever. I am wondering if there is a way to control it via RF with one remote for different lights
I just got the Autopole 2 and noticed that the top metal part that holds the foot just detaches easily from the main pole. Is yours the same? Is that normal?
@@CreateConsumeRepeat Please can you give me the links where you bought them? Because when I look for them I get a lot of options. Please. I have two autopoles and a crossbar, and I want to make the attachment between the three.
I was having the same issue and had a professional videographer suggest a varipoles. Now I have the two bars coming in the mail and I'm unsure if I need a top bar or if I should just place them horizontally
As mentioned in the video, placing these tubes horizontally isn’t recommended for heavy loads and extended periods of time. I personally wouldn’t do it but I know some other creators swear by it.
@@CreateConsumeRepeat yeah you did a great job with this video. Literally answered every question I had. I wasn't expecting a level of detail. I see a bright future for your channel!
Having c-stands, tripods and cables all over the floor is less than ideal. The autopoles solve most of the issues leaving your pup to only contend with the tripod.
@@CreateConsumeRepeat it definitely can be a rabbit hole of possibilities, great company with an awesome story. Best part about it is the community of people sharing ideas. My favorite accessory is the 1/4 20 female inserts. Keep up the good work, I like the production quality of your videos.
Wholesome approach to visual communication. You've landed another subscriber. Keep up the good work.

Totally agree to always checking them on a routine basis.
Awesome insights and quite relevant to me as a fellow NYC small apartment dweller. Love the content! Keep it up!

I don’t own any neewer lights but if you have the dough I would look into a universal control protocol like DMX. That said it’s extremely pricey.
Great video

That does not sound normal. I will contact the vendor you purchased it from.
What items do you use at the minute 3:04 to make that attachment between the autopole and the clamp? thanks
Two mafer clamps with one right angle stud. You will need a total of four mafer clamps and two right angle studs to attach the crossbar.

@@CreateConsumeRepeat I am wondering though why you don't affiliate marketing Links. I would have gladly used them to shop for the horizontal pole

The thing about having a dog in a cramped area - is that really the best environment for a dog? How many square feet is your place?

I NEED this pole! Where can I get it??
B&H Photo, Adorama or Amazon. Just search for Manfrotto Autopole.
@@CreateConsumeRepeat I was going to affiliate you bro! I really appreciate this video!
@ArdenBallard Thanks but I have not set that up yet.
Links to the products would be nice
Good idea. I’ll post in a few.
Would you mind adding links bud? Thanks
