- It’s hard to imagine what this 2004 Ford Ranger Edge must look like under the multiple layers of mud and moss it's accumulated. Believe it or not, owner Duncan flew to the US in 2004 to buy it brand new and bring it back home to the UK. For years the truck was his pride and joy, only used for Sunday best and always kept in pristine condition. The arrival of Duncan’s daughter meant that he no longer had time for the Ranger which has now been sitting outside on the drive for four long years. Top Gear's Clean Team has just eight hours to bring this tired truck back to life...

Duncan lives at end of my road... he's owned his motor for years!!! Always used to be floating around in it!

Sometimes, i wonder why people have these cars and let them get to that state. I mean, it takes an hour to either check a bucket of water over it, or take it even to an auto carwash (Shudder)

i wish the new ranger was as compact and no-frills as this generation was. I lived in the mountains off of some seriously great roads and my ranger was not terrible to drive on them by any means.

almost a month with no new episode, was this dropped for being unpopular? shame, i actually quite liked it. but of course people have to complain about free content not being good enough for them...
this is why cars that you want to keep are kept in a garage.
I hated having mine outside of a garage for years, but I never let it get to being in that state. 🤮
Problem I have with these vids is that they look minging when they arrive. In the first 2 mins they jet wash it and it looks pretty good straight away

peak 2000s sex spec car
There is absolutely ZERO things sex spec on that Ford POS. A sex spec car DOES NOT have stock paint, stock interior, stock stereo, and the wheels need 400% more chrome and the car needs airbrushing. Learn what the term is before using it. 🤦

Uh... This is a really bad detail. 12:17, the glass is dirty, they didn't even try to polish the edges of the panels. 12:21 it literally still has moss on the headlight. 12:41 is a hideous panel. What the hell did they do for 8 hours?
