Thank you . I have received many positive comments on this build and highly recommend it for boat builders or growing veggies, or both. It has held up very well to our Canadian winters. I would recommend getting a coloured tarp vice plastic if using for anything but growing. Under a sunny summer sky it gets damn hot in there.
Thanks Carl. Fewer warts than expected. I have had to tape some small holes in the plastic due to chaffing. I did not secure the plastic tight enough. I will likely either replace the plastic this fall or add a second layer of plastic. Using used plastic means replacing it more often than if I used new plastic but at about 1/10th the price it is worth the effort.
I just recently discovered arch cabins. I can tell by how drawn in I am that I'll be making one sooner than later. Thanks for the inspiration good sir!
That is BEEFY! 2x4s Bent into an Arch?! Yeah thats a great build! Nice work! Also- this shape does well against Tornados from what I gather.. No lips, no way for the wind to grab an edge. Love the Kittys🥰
Very sad to hear what happened to your shed from Alan, I guess you have constructed something new by now! If you can bare to, could you make a video about how and where it failed, for others who are contemplating such a build. Thanks!
Easier to run 2by 6 sills along the sides for the arches to sit in to,then screw top of arches into the ridge on one side and raise in one go and hold up with props until you put the arches on the other side, mind you your's is twice the size of mine looks great
Ah young grasshopper...many small boats are built upside down initially then flipped when the planking is finished. But, not my build. New videos out soon
I am really impressed by your arched-building worksite! Well thought out, well implemented! Thank you for sharing.
The structure actually looks beautiful!
Well done sir.

Great build. I love how you show it warts and all.

Great build seems like a very cost effective structure!
Cost effective is exactly why I went with this design. Sure it adds to the overall build time line but my time is free, so is the labour. HaHA
nice work shed. Bill.
Thanks Fon. It has stood up well to the winters and winds we get here in PEI.
It's a work of art Bill
But every work of art needs a cover. That episode is coming up:)
Epic!

Nicely built. One of the very best I've seen.
Thanks. Good training for building a boat.
Piece of art….. and you haven’t started the boat. 👍🏻
Keep watching as the boat build is underway

Question ❓ Did the cats climb and claw, rip the cover?
Супер 👍👍👍👍
👍👍🙂 I loved the monkeys I meant the cats. The shed is beautiful too, I meant the upside down ship🙂
The cats will continue to make special guest appearances throughout the videos. Who doesn't love a cat?
We have 2 of those knuckleheads at home🙂🙂

Now you tell me🤣. That would have made it easier for sure
Where could I get the plans for this?? Thank you :)
Какой длиной у вас полуарка?
Are the arches 3 feet apart?
4' as per plans. We had 90km/hr wind gusts a few days ago amd she stands firm
Does anyone have these plans shamrock greenhouse that sold them (no longer exists) website is for sale. I tried an email too.
Do I detect a bit of PEI accent. I spent 4 years on the base in Summerside 83 to 87
Not to be a party-pooper, but did anybody tell you, you built your boat upside down?
Ah young grasshopper...many small boats are built upside down initially then flipped when the planking is finished. But, not my build. New videos out soon
Protect yer noggin, wear a hard hat! 😊👷🏻♂️
Haha. Takes the fun out of getting smacked upside the head by the lumber
