Hi Rachel, thanks for watching! Yes, I agree....I need to do a better job with this video and plan to remake it soon. I need to show the holder with a cap installed and also with it in use on a machine. I'll get busy on that!
I just LOVE when needle craft meets woodworking as I do both!! Thank you so much for this tutorial. 💕🤩. Not sure if you are selling these, but it could be quite lucrative.
Thank you for watching, Jolene! I just checked out your channel and you have some really great content!! (I'm a new subscriber to you btw) My wife thrifts and resells as her side hustle, so you have all 3 of those interests wrapped up! That is awesome. I've never thought about selling these, but now that you say that....maybe I should look into it. My intention is to start selling items I make thru Etsy or Shopify, this could be the kickstarter! Thank you!!
@@dwcoffey thanks so much for the sub!!! And the compliments to my content. I haven’t posted in a while because I want to post more than only woodworking. I think you have inspired me to do so! And Yes! I only know Etsy because that is where I sell and sometimes buy products to assist my hobbies ha ha! And I just know people would buy your item.
Thank you Kathleen! I need to remake this video...another viewer pointed out that I failed to show my wife actually using the holder! Not sure what I was thinking, but I really should have included that. I hope you find the cap holder you are looking for!
Dennis Coffey A video showing how it works would be awesome. I did find someone making hoop like yours but doesn’t have the attachment for embroidering on side of cap! I’ve looked for more videos from you..so informative:). Thanks for reply:)
Thanks for watching, Dallas! I have no idea why I didn't think to record that, but have had a few people ask. I'm working on a new video to replace this one, showing the construction and the use of this holder. Hope to have it up soon.!
Haha!! Maybe......LOL! Thanks for watching, Terri! A viewer pointed out that I never showed the holder in use....I really need to remake this video and show it being used in a machine. It works well. Thanks again!!
Hi Kristy, thanks for watching! I don't, but I can get some photos. I need to revise the video and show how my wife mounts the hats anyway (I should have done that in the first video). I'll try to get some pics taken and posted on my website. I'll shoot you a note when I get it done.
Thank you so much for watching! I don't currently have any for sale but I plan to in the very near future. Watch for a new video showing how it is used on a machine....I plan to have a link for purchasing these. Thank you so much for expressing an interest!!
SO we made one of these today but just can't get it to work with the caps I have. It won't tighten enough at the top of the brim to be able to hold the sweat band area out of the way. If I tuck the brim in any further, then the edge of the cap is too close to the wood to have the design in the proper spot. I'm so bummed as I was really hoping this was going to work instead of spending the big bucks to try the durkee hoop.
I'll do my best to get some pics for you soon. Would making the holder with a larger center hole help with the caps you have? I could work out dimensions for a larger holder, if that would be helpful.
Yes, it works very well. I made the mistake of not showing it in use. I plan to remake the video soon, and include showing the holder being used. I think that will be more helpful. Thanks for watching!
Would like to see it with the cap installed :-)

Thanks for watching, Dallas! I am working on another video for this.....I should have shown the holder being used.

This is awesome Dennis, but was that a hint that you would like a band saw perhaps? Great work!!

Wanted to know if there is a video of how to use it?

Thanks for watching, Dinah. No ma'am, I'm sorry but I don't.
Do you have nay photos with a hat in the hoop?
