Golden era of German cars. 4.2V8 from Audi, the 4.0V8 from BMW, and this 6.3V8 from Mercedes. Absolutely incredible engines, all three of them- and all with unique personalities and characteristics.
to the owner: you could upgrade to the black series brakes 390x36. All you need are the mounting arms for the calipers and the disks. Rest you can still usw. with that the rotors can take much more heat and break is longer stable and cools of fast so less "brake pad burning". About the oil temp you have the facelift, there is a stock upgraded oil cooler package because starting from about 117 oil temp it starts to reduce bit of ignition / power. After 127 its more drastic. at half the ring lap you can feel it :)
