Oklahoma just made the Bible a required study for all students, grade 5 through 12, at all schools.

As a believer myself, I don’t really trust the government and don’t want them meddling in my religion. I think that the separation of church and state accomplishes that. Prior to that, the idea was considered unconstitutional and dismissed due to violating the 1st Amendment. As for notes, it happened in 1955 as an appeal to religion against Soviet/Commie fearmongering.

The problem with this movies is that they portray atheists as the bad guys. When they SHOULD be the ones we are trying to reach. If somebody is seeking God and then they see these movies, I bet it could very easily turn them off and make them lose interest. We need to try to reach the world, not hate them.

I really get tired of people saying religion needs to be kept out of American politics. But that's just not true. Whether you are a Christian or not, this country was founded on religion, the Founding Fathers based ALL America laws on Biblical principles. The separation of Church and State was not made so religion couldn't get involved in politics, but instead to keep politics and government leaders from taking people's right to worship freely. That's the main reason why America was founded and why the Pilgrims came to America, the second reason was to be free from England rule.
This film is what America needs right now. We tried man's, the atheist's way for America and look where that's got our country, it's nearly killed it. It's time to go back and try God's way, and trust in Him to guide America.
This movie will definitely show that it’s ok to put God in politics and I’ve learned that these past 2 years when a Christian pastor ran for governor in the state of Michigan

Most were Deists and it was the Enlightenment Age where ration and evidence mattered more than belief to educated men at the time. Why did Jefferson rewrite the Gospels with all the supernatural elements removed if he was such a believer?
Take it from a Social Studies teacher...read some actual history books from real scholars instead of listening to conservative pundits on this topic.

I am so excited. God's Not Dead is the first movie that I watched when my wife and I started our journey of faith. Every one of these movies has been close to our hearts since then. We are so excited for this next chapter.

Not a fan of propaganda movies. There are religious movies that are better than God’s Not Dead: Ordinary Angels, Saved, The Prince of Egypt, Ben-Hur, The Passion of the Christ, American Underdog, The Ten Commandments, and Life of Brian!
