She should be held accountable....full stop. I have never heard a smuggling story like this before. Who in 2024 would be travelling with family / friends items without confirming the contents, makes no sense let alone from a stranger. The courts need to make an example out of her to deter another ridiculous excuse like this in the future.

2 random people hand over a quarter of a million to another random stranger to pass on to their family, and she didn’t think that was all kinds of weird. Umm yea ok, sure Jan. one of them lost their passport. Why didn’t they just pay for the other 1 to do it or fly the family member in receipt out to collect. She absolutely knew. And if she’s that thick, she deserves everything she gets and she’s lucky it’s just going to be a jail term. Cause that kinda stupidity could end you.

1) CLEARLY a drug smuggler.
2) Went to Mexico for “free” no questions asked.
3) No diagnosed learning difficulties (clearly not if you can travel across the world by yourself and smuggle).
4) STILL refusing to give the names of your fellow criminals.

She says one of the guys had lost his passport. Recently I trashed my passport (in the washing machine) in the USA. This was Friday at 11am and I was flying home to the uk at 4pm. Guess what I did?? No dodgy suitcases. No promises to or from strangers. I went online to the uk embassy filled in the online form and was on the 4pm flight home on Monday. Yea I was £1000 poorer after paying the embassy, another flight and emergency accommodation but I am a free man and will remain that way…… … unlike…….. yup unlike Kimberley.

A stranger offers you a free holiday- alarm bell starts. Asks you to bring back £250k for them- alarm bell is going at full pelt. Who on earth gives £250k in cash to anybody- let alone someone they hardly know! They need her to do this, but they can send her own suitcase back no problem??? Then, she doesn't even look in the suitcases! What a worry to her family, she should not be allowed out on her own anywhere, ever!!
