The concept of duality never gets old. It’s amazing how every adaptation finds a new way to explore it. Terence Fisher's take sounds like a bold and unique interpretation!
Pretty dang good one!! Can't believe I missed it till now!! But right on sista, awesome post!! It's a great movie!! What more can I say!?? BTW I'm a mid range fan of Vincent Price and Christopher Lee, and allot of others!! That did great calibre movies!! For their genre! I am 56 yrs old. The Vincent Price genre does not fall on deaf ears at all!! For me anyways! Thanks for the great post!!!!¡¡¡¡!!😁😎🤗😉👍
This wasn't the best Hammer film by a long way, but my God I still loved it! Like all good wines it's improved with age. I grew up on these movies, and over time they've transcended from being campy romps to genuine cult classics.
"campy romps to cult classics", that's a brilliant description! I watched a Dracula film.yday with the legends that are Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing so the algorithm us recommending more Hammer classics! erm, I mean campy romps 😊
This movie is more dramatic then spooky or intriguing. Most dipictions of this story are more mysterious. Plus more makeup transformations. This one is based more on emotions. I think it’s an interesting film but it’s not as action based so it’s less exciting. You have to realize it’s an era based movie also. It’s their interpretation. Yes it’s slow.
People that do hard drugs will be sorry. That’s when the devil sends minions to take over your bodies and steal your souls. Pray to God and you might get your souls back. But you have to be honest it can’t be lies.
The idea is to watch the movie. If it has comercials/ads in between, too bad. I think one can always pay to avoid that... But who cares to pay if you can watch for free, right? So, the moral of the story: -«If someone gives you an horse, you don't complain about it's teeth» ... It sounds like a fixation on the ads to be taking notes of the times they show up during the movie... There are lots of movies you can hardly hear; others with gaps or bad image; and so on... that's something wrong with the upload, but comercials? What about watch the movie and just deal with the «missing two teeth of the great, beautifull horse that you got for nothing »?... You people complain a lot.... I can imagine when the electric power ends on this planet, or you stop having water on your taps and must go and get it on the river.....
Ican't stand it. Mss. Jekill couldn't recognize her beared husband in Mr. Hyde's Clean face ! was that the only feature that make the difference between the two men?
Maybe she wasn't noticing so much her husbands caracteristics... or she has some lack of understanding of her surrounings and, really can't tell if the husband is green or red; has big... feet.... ; long ... nose; or... whatever...She just doesn't care. As long as he pays the bills and doesn't bother her with hard 'workouts' or cleanings.... Looks like it's not only on the 21st. Century they come like that... -«Sorry dear, I thought it was you and, after all it was the neighbour.... again... How could I get it wrong for the 27th. time... this month???» LLOOLL
Ah. True. Good question.. I guess the old London water sort of addled her recognition circuits. 😂 Great film. Hammer productions, well what can you say. Just really good film. Classic stuff for me anyway. I hope other people enjoy the upload. Thanks to the up loader.
