Hi, my name is Miriam. I live in Australia. I love your work. You have taught me so much!! I am trying to make this tile but I have run into a problem. I cannot make 8 tufts - I get 7 made but I am always short of enough stitches to do the 8th one. I have tried to work out where I am going wrong but I just can't see it. I have even tried doing illustrations showing the stitch count to see what I should have and I can't figure it out there either. Can you help me please? Thank you.

Already looked on Etsy for patterns. I picked the Fillet pattern books so far. I added the jacket pattern to wish list and a number of other patterns.
You do so great with the popcorn stitch but not a big fan but can make them 😂❤❤

I like the fact that you are not a yarn snob. You use what you have and don't try to upsell more expensive yarns that most of us can't afford. Really lovely pattern! Thank you!

The reason why it's ok is because the pattern isn't even on the page you landed on so by default it's all good.

Totally what a confusing way they laid it out in the magazine. Probably the editor had no idea about patterns and just wasn't bothered to try to make it make sense.

Oh my that's a great idea. I cannot for the life of me manage to make more than 4 or 5 of the same thing so I have 3 of this and 6 of the other and they just sit in a box. I could do that and get rid of them! Lol! Or I was thinking I'd try to put all the odd ones together in one mad blanket some day.

I just thought of Janis Joplin, the singer from the late 60's early 70's. Very beatnik bohemian hippie styles. What about something she might wear to crochet. The shawls , ponchos, beanie hats, handbags. Maybe a dress, I don't know maybe you can find something. And yeah. Glad you selected the 2nd crochet illustrated with the rose in the center. That's the one I wanted to watch you crochet. Happy crocheting!😊

I finally finished mine. I'm trying to finish up all my mystery and vintage patterns before the holidays. I had made the irish crochet from your titanic video and wanted to make another so I could create a bag, but I just wasn't getting it done. So when I saw this one with the same rose in the center I decided to make this one for the other side of the bag. They are slightly different sizes so this one, being smaller will be framed by fabric which will also line the bag. It's been fun. Thanks so much for sharing.

Corinna, when you started the chain 5s with 8 single crochets (after round 12) i think the chain 5 loops should of been split evenly around into 8 sections, so every 9(?) stitches you would put a single crochet followed by a chain 5. Love love love this pattern though, a whole bedspread with these would look so pretty especially in a Victorian rose pink and a pink brown colour. My list of projects is getting huge now i simply don't have enough hands or houts in the day

Eleven days later, I found some leftover #10 thread in my stash so tried out just the rose. Did not slip stitch at all for all those rounds, and it was just fine. Have just a little thread left, so will see whether I can manage the leaves as well. It's so pretty.
