I could show you some stuff around jeddo borough in p.a. theres a buried basement of the old powerplant from the 20s-30's I believe? Pretty extensive, just a hole in the ground to get into it. Not far from the jeddo train tunnel

Are you aware of a RUclips creator called Paul Cook? You two are doing similar things, but I believe you are getting into layers below where he investigates. I don't believe that these are mines, brother. Lots of very crisp masonry and polygonal construction at the upper layers, craggy and burned looking layers below. Personally I think you're looking at old world structures from many thousands of years in the past that have been smacked time and again with cataclysms. The last being a monstrous flood of mud, which buried the entrances to most of what is below ground today. Start looking at photos from the mid to late 1800's and you will begin to see. I see deformed block work in these mines. You earned yourself a sub with these. Great work. I will be watching your documentation closely.

It looks like a wildlife sanctuary. ..

Bro, you're unbelievable! I guarantee you that most, if not all, states have ancient underground cave systems that have been long forgotten and any records have been lost in the process of time. You have a knack for knowing where to treat. Be careful please. Some underground caves lead to places you'll wish you never explored.

Nice place, wish I could see the people who build and live here. Why they build an bunker, what the stone ruin was and how old it is. Some americans builds nuclear doomsday bunkers, but this was not deep in the terrain. Interesting

I was wondering if people in the 1700 and 1800 had a small personal coal mine, for home heating use?
I know I would burn coal if I had a seam on my property!

My father once told me that where he lived growing up the neighbor had a small personal coal mine that they heated their house with on their property. This would of been 1940's - 1960's .

There are still a few people that do... I want to say they call them fox holes.
Just little veins they find justting out and the mine them out for what they need.
They still have to know what they are doing though.
Usually its people who have mining experience / backgound.
      Its not common though.

Some of my ancient relatives who lived in Upper Leigh, PA had a mine on their property. They used that coal all the way up into the 70's.

so much underground stuff in PA. is it all old world ruins? I now know that the underground railroad was real not the story of just a bunch of slaves escaping.
