Your video is very useful. Besides learning your technique, I can know more about "why you do that / What are you planning in that moment". Thank you very much and hope will have more tutorials about how to glazing skin tones in the future : )

    That's a large scale one =)
Can you, please, do a guide on how to work with 32mm scale miniatures? Really interested in your take on that topic.

That's just the regular kroxigor from Games Workshop so I think it fits into the 32mm category. I paint smaller minis in the same way. I have some videos of how I paint the Saurus Warriors on instagram so take a look there. Or, if Patreon is your sort of thing, I have a pdf guide on how to paint Saurus over there :)

Just found your channel. Super well done and helpful. I hope you will do more in the future. A few questions: Maybe you could get a bit into it how to identify where to push the lightest pigment? Because sometimes you push it up (scale on the stomach) but with the nose you push it down. How to know?!?! Thats the thing i have the most problems with, to identify surfaces and know from where to where it goes from dark to light. Also, if i dont have 7 different blue colours, how do i do it then? White will desaturate the colour so maybe you could show us how you would do it if you only have 1 or 2 different blues or greens or whatever because i dont think the majoritiy of people watching this have all these paints that you have :D Otherwise: Super great stuff, love the format and everything!

This is a great series. I’m new to the hobby so it’s really helpful to get an in depth look at all the steps. I wanted to ask, how would you go about blending two contrasting colours of speed paints? I wanted to paint my tyranids in a hive fleet leviathan blue (sort of like the colours you’re using here) but I wanted to blend that blue into an orange on their armour plates and claws. How would I go about doing this, whilst keeping the colours distinct and avoiding turning the orange and blue into a browny/greeny mess?

Glad it was helpful! I'd thin the paint with Contrast medium (like in my other video - How to use transparent paint). Once one layer is dry i'd then apply the next colour. It's hard to visualize like this so I will make a video on it soon :)
