best tip for slapchop is dont use a black base coat but use grey,looks a lot better

Is it with full contrasts the skin?

Question, I saw somewhere that putting a drop or two of water on the paper towel prevents it from pulling too much moisture from the brush when taking excess paint off the brush....????comment please. Cheers

Hmmmmm... First video I see from this channel and got me hooked. That blue layer is the trust the process layer haha... HOWEVER!!! IF we switch blue for dark red we might have a neat recipe for the hellish black that is The Legion of the Damned black armor... Well, my friend... You just got me thinking that I must try that! Why black templar over leadbelcher? Why not just prime black and drybrush the necron compound?

Akehlian Green is already a pretty easy paint and the mini is super textured, making it ideal for slapchop. Id like to see a video with a difficult paint, like Luxion Purple or Aethermatic Blue, on a mini with flat surfaces like robes or capes. That would be helpful. Thanks!

I'm attempting this,.I felt as if they 1:1 of pink horror and flash yellow didn't look like yours. So I did 2:pink 1: flash yellow Still trying to figure the skin right WAAAAAGGGHHH 😊

This paint job is really nice, but I can't help but think that with black, less highlighting is more, especially with Black Templars and Raven Guard. You start to lose the blackness of the plate, giving a more dark grey look. It might just be a preference thing.

Is it better to do something like that? Where you go black undercoat and then white drybrush? And then contrasts? I am new to this so thatbis why i am curious
