This was the first version of the song that I listened to (it is included on HIM's compilation album "Uneasy Listening Vol. 2"). Some time later I discovered Metallica's cover of "Sabbra Cadabra". It were HIM and Metallica who introduced me to Black Sabbath! I'm grateful for them!

Sabbath almost managed to recruit Rick Wakeman in the mid 70's. That would have added another awesome dimension to their live performance and added a fuller sound.

....it actually has to do more with knowing how to sing properly. He's pushing everything out through his throat...not the diaphragm. Big difference...singers out there, still, who are smokers...yet...simply know how to sing...not scream...
