The Volvo EX30, available to order now in selected markets*, is a cornerstone of the strategic transformation we are on as a company. Already by mid-decade, we aim for half of our global sales volumes to consist of fully electric cars and to reach an operating profit margin of 8-10 per cent. Did you have a chance to try voice controls e.g. to control engaging the mirror setting mode, or performance mode, set the climate controls etc? I'm guessing it is capable of this but no reviews seem to mention it one way or another.
The reason probably is the fact they have to install/make an account for it to work.

interior is lacking leather and premium materials, but themed well. has received excellent reviews and is a respectable ev.
There seems to be a small issue with the video from 30 to 40 seconds, it freezes on you opening the car. No big deal, but thought I'd mention

What’s it like when you accelerate hard without performance mode on?
Nice review but could do with hearing the sound system as that’s a high priority for me…especially as I’ll be coming from a car with Ultra High Fidelity sound. It’s that high a priority I’d rather turn down a car than accept a knaff Hifi. It’s not like you can easily retrofit an EV either…
It's attractive but if Volvo is starting to sell cars with some occupants inside.... not cool at all (you lose back space shh)
The only cons about it it’s that i personally would have preferred a digital cluster on the steering column as in Polestar

0:28-0:42 have some technical problem
Volvo need to add on option of Head Up Display or small screen in direct line of sight showing speedometer, range etc. The current multi level single screen is too complicated and therefore dangerous to use whilst driving.

Nah. Voice controls handle everything. I drive a lot of Teslas and got over the screen thing very fast.

Hello, what's minimun speed for activate auto pilot? Can activate adaptive cruise control w/o use auto pilot?
I think around 10 km/h it can go to a stop also.

I recently test drove its “sister” car the Smart #1, does this have the same lag of regen braking in 1 pedal drive mode? Also is it possible to charge at Tesla AC/DC chargers?
Yes from what i know in some countries you can charge at Tesla superchargers and I didn’t feel any lag on regen

I think the declared 0-100 km/h in 3,6 seconds from Volvo isn't true. I saw few videos on RUclips with several tries and no one was under 4 seconds, most of them was between 4,20 - 4,50 seconds, same as you. Matt Watson was only person who took it under 4 seconds. So probably it is very hard to reach it under 4 seconds in standard conditions, so for me a bit dissapointing.
I’ll post mine from the USA where I achieved it in 3.7
depending on the road and the slope they are testing.
there is absolutely no reason to want to go from zero to 100kmh in 3.6 seconds anyway, it looks ridiculous and if you do that you are a jerk
I saw tests with draggy and it actually did 3.6.
I like volvo so much, but this car is horrible!! Where is a classical comfort!! For example the holder of cup!?? The bigger armrest??
what is that instrument and door panels made off, that look like something modern in the 70s. with Hessian wallpaper. quite horrible also NO instrument cluster behind the steering wheel. and the steering wheel bottoms is haptic touch bottom just like VW ID serie, and they havn´t learned anything, stupid and very annoying for daliy use. not the most bright car made, just another tesla copy. scrap. deal breaker for me..

VW can’t touch Volvo in any way, certainly not this EX30…doesn’t even come close to it. VW never been n Volvo leagues, maybe drive one first..
And if you really want to know, it’s by far a Tesla copy, more a Tesla killer with a polestar design.
