Saban wanted Aneyas REALLY BAD and his recruiting ranking definitely suffered by picking ND over Saban/Bama. You have to love the maturity and savvy of these Freeman recruits.. Louisville, Clemson, and Duke were all trap games on the road and we only beat Duke. I definitely saw it happening that we weren’t going to win all 3 of those games. Duce Knight in the class of 2025 will probably end up being the guy he’s got a lot of people to commit in the class of 2025 just from choosing ND.
There were definitely some coaching issues and consistency getting the boys ready to play this year. There were at least 15 different plays that if ND wins 1 play, they beat OSU. Those Louisville and Clemson losses were just stupid as well. But It was Year 2 for Freeman. All things considered, 10-3 isn't awful but lots of opportunities to improve and fix thing. Also, Bryce Young is incredibly underrated. He's going to be a monster.

He had a bad 1st day in the summer of 23's E11 event and that's all it takes to derail anyone's bid for camp MVP, unfortunately. I definitely agree that ND got the better talent at QB between 2, especially as both wanted to come to ND and both were crystal balled to ND BUT... the staff chose Carr over Sayin. Just Sayin! 👍🏽😁☘
