Great theming. The “Barn Buster” is called “Barnstormer” in Dollywood. Did you know that “Moonshiners Run” is based on the Prohibition Era? Top notch Log Flume, and Giant Inverted Boomerang out there. Amazing scenery as well. Definitely worth a spot at the Master Builder Ranking. This Log Flume should ultimately leave other builders thinking twice about their Log Flumes.
Not to mention the name Appalachian Adventures was a complete rip-off of a long running series called "Appalachian Adventure" by Dick Media on RUclips. Sad to see plagiarism that blatant.
I just picked up Planet Coaster 2 days ago after being a massive fan of RCT1/2 for almost my entire life. I did a lot of RCT3 for a few years when it released but took a break from the games for a while. This game is absolutely nuts!! I am going through many of these videos and getting amazing ideas. I started working on my first park in this game and I am so over the moon on what is possible with the terrain and coaster building in this game that I still keep going "WOW, that is possible?" and then go what the hell else is possible? Going to be scouring all your videos to see more amazing parks. As a mountain person, I am 100% making an alpine style/Forest park. Huge lake, many rides going in and out of the ground and mountain ranges, trains, plus cabin/brick style buildings all around.
haha dude im jus as excited! I just go this game about 2 weeks ago as well and I Love the mountains and alpine themed parks. Im doing an alpine theme mixed with heavily modern buildings with wooden slats and large windows with awesome lighting and plants.. I havent even scratched the surface with the coasters yet! Its so addicting man. Hope youre making some progress!
I'm a newish player also but I loved rct and I went through the "this game is absolutely amazing" phase also. The freedom to take anything in your mind and put it on screen is simply unmatched imo. It's a perfect game.
Yeah, this park is very much up my alley. I used to go on family trips to the Smokies as well. My family went for fall colors pretty often. I never made it into the Dollywood because we weren't usually there during Summer when it was open. And when we were around at the right time, we just thought it was more like Greenfield Village, than Bush Gardens... But I guarantee, we would have loved it, if we knew it had as many good features as it does, and actually went. Anyways. I am also very much a rugged nature guy, so combining two of my favorite outdoor activities into one like this park does, pulled me right in as well. Thanks for featuring this. And thanks to the designer for building this for us. :D
This is great work! This feels like a top-5 park for me, in terms of quality, beauty, realism, theme... As Johnny said, this is SO good,SO polished, and so innovative. MSCarmen deserves Master rank, since what she's done here could make a Legend builder stop and think.
Was watching and noticed on the Barn Buster at the entrance had the coaster information signs I designed with the theme maker toolkit. So cool to see people using them! Never expected to just see them pop up in one of his videos. 30:05
18:22 Johnny!! From an area native(born'n raised in Chattanooga, TN) the word is pronounced Oh-kO-E. It's a river in the area. Fun fact they held the kayaking events there during the '96 Atlanta Olympics
Trail Blazer has such an awesome layout. The whole park is amazing. Would have loved to see a little more night time lighting but other than that, it's perfect.
Some of this park reminds me so much of Dollywood! Also the barn buster is actually a ride called barnstormer at Dollywood if I’m not mistaken, I’ve mastered the entire park layout as it’s my home park
Same here, I've memorized the layout of that park like it's the back of my hand. I really want to go back this season and spend a day there. Out of all the parks I've been to Dollywood is my absolute favorite. It's right there in my backyard and I'm always excited to go.
Normally I skip track view because it's immersion breaking but the scenery in this one is so amazing I didn't skip anything. This is the most aesthetically pleasing park I think I've seen. I'm from the Ohio River Valley just outside Ashland, KY so this scenery is close to my heart. Master Builder definitely.
This is Fantastic. I’ve had an idea I’ve sort of mapped out to build a park based on Appalachian and WV lore called Appalachian Adventures for years and never did anything with it. But this Is fantastic.
This theme park build is amazing! I have only one criticism/suggestion, though. I feel like the go karts should have been themed out to look like stage coaches or old, early 1900's cars to fit with the entire aesthetic of the park.
Yet another outstanding creation, in addition to the others ones we've had over the last week or two. So much beautiful details, and everything so perfect and realistic and smooth. It just goes to show this game and this community just continues to deliver and get better all the time. What a great thing for all of us to share in common, the joy of this game.
The river ride is said like oh-KOH-EE (long vowels on all). No doubt it's named for the Ocoee River in eastern Tennessee, well known for it's river rafting. "Ocoee" is a Cherokee word, which I've been told mean "apricot vine", or what we now call the passion flower.
I'm a simple man. I see Appalachia, I click. Very cool park! Love the use of the terrain with the coaster. It would fit right in with the coasters at Kennywood.
My favorite Planco content : a nice park, explored in 45-70 minutes. Big enough to be impressive, but doesn't overstay its welcome either. :) This mixture of mountain + western kinda reminds me of a real, but very small theme park in my country. Called Faispertuis City (might have made typo from memory). It's kind of an interesting coincidence! (this virtual park would clearly be better if it was IRL, though. Faispertuis is a super small park lol)
@30:00 it reminds me off that old boardgame from hasbro "looping louie", the crashed plane and the barn?.... Get those chickens! Great Detailed park. love it!

I was gonna say the barnstormer thing 😭
Oh, wow. People could possibly point things out here and there.

That boomerang coaster puts most real life coasters to shame. S-tier theming

Appalachia's a good place man, good people, good music, good times

Tommy has some R E A L competition right here. He may be good at creating well-themed roller coasters, but can he make a well-themed THEME PARK?
I always appreciate parks that take advantage of the terrain and interact with structures and other rides! Fantastic park!
Was watching and noticed on the Barn Buster at the entrance had the coaster information signs I designed with the theme maker toolkit. So cool to see people using them! Never expected to just see them pop up in one of his videos. 30:05
All is very neat in this park. The rides and buildings, the sceneries, all is perfect.

To the creator: KEEP IT UP DUDE. GREAT JOB. WANT TO SEE MOOOOOOOORE!!!!

I love it 😀 😍 MASTER BUILDER, Johnny! That log ride and boomerang are giving me ideas !
Park was incredible, but I think there should be lights on the rides at night
What a great park, the Dollywood inspiration is clear and I love it. I wish there was a GCI style woody like Thunderhead to perfectly round it out.
Amazing job on this. Love small parks that packs a punch
This is Fantastic. I’ve had an idea I’ve sort of mapped out to build a park based on Appalachian and WV lore called Appalachian Adventures for years and never did anything with it.
But this Is fantastic.
This looks like an "impossified" version of Dollywood. Barnstormer was spot on!
This theme park build is amazing! I have only one criticism/suggestion, though. I feel like the go karts should have been themed out to look like stage coaches or old, early 1900's cars to fit with the entire aesthetic of the park.
it is amazing infact a theme park owner should hire him to make a theme park exactly like this it is amazing
Love this theme. I am currently working on a park with similar style. Thank you for this inspiration to continue my park.
Incredible! Would be cool to see a wooden coaster added in this park!
Also a Go Kart fan, Johnny and this ones a good one! I have one in the works as well and am giving thought to some extras thanks to MScarman!
phenomeal park!!! seeing these really motivates me and gives me knowledge on how to make the park look better

Definitely master builder quality! Excellent park!
These are the most amazing visuals I’ve ever seen!
I’m super jealous of Mscarman173’s landscaping skills lol! Amazing park and amazing video Johnny!
Thank you for your work Johnny. This game literally saved my life and I hope this series continues for a long time
Did anyone else get extremely freaked out by the super uncanny looking NPC staring STRAIGHT into the camera at 26:12 😭
Totally amazing park man!!! 😃
Good job!!
I love how much fun you had
wow that log flume was incredible!
Nice from german👍🇩🇪
I'm a simple man. I see Appalachia, I click. Very cool park! Love the use of the terrain with the coaster. It would fit right in with the coasters at Kennywood.
Gotta check out the real Appalachian Adventure then. It would appear this creator stole my park name, added an S to the name and called it a day. Sad.
Wow freaking whee this is phenomenal i need to take notes just stunning work
I look forward to seeing more of your amazing creations in the future too.
@bigbrostevo finished a few projects just didn't submit been a crazy year but gonna submit things this year
Awesome work, Johnny.
This is amazing. Master builder, without a doubt. The quality made the park feel twice as expansive as it is. Really great stuff here
How dew you bee come a mass stir builder? Dew you knead two win a contest?
Hey Johnny, I've been watching your videos for years. One of the best feel good channels on youtube for me. Thanks for all you do man.
This is better than a real theme park in real life!!!
Looks really cool. Reminds me of Dollywood in TN
Wow one of the best parks i ever seen.

Amazing park. Love it ❤
The boomerang was great!
Omg what an awesome park 😎👍🎢
Wow what an incredible park and coasters! Throughly impressed. That log flume was such a fun surprise
THIS👏IS👏GOLD👏
Great Park. Definitely give us a sequel maybe with an RMC.
Cool boomerang, but Johnny I think you’re forgetting about mindbender by pixelated! Easily one of the best boomerangs I’ve seen in planet coaster
Very well done, excellent. 👍👍👏👌
This was an amazing park! Fantastic job on the theming, coasters were smooth! I smell a promotion coming
AMAZING
This was pure perfection! The log flume and boomerang I can ride again, and again....and again!!!! Awesomeness stuff
@30:00 it reminds me off that old boardgame from hasbro "looping louie", the crashed plane and the barn?.... Get those chickens! Great Detailed park. love it!
DAMN. Back to back banger parks. That's one of the best boomerangs I've ever seen.
incredible
This park gives me alton towers vibe
nice job
One of my favorite parks so far! So much fun. Master builder for sure.
Wow
so nice
anyone realize the hotel is the same as the one in the 1984 Ghostbusters hotel?
wow
Can I play this park on Planet Coaster?
I like the idea of commentary free vids. Would get me to watch all the way through more often. Not a dis to Johnny. Just a personal preference.
It's pronounced O Co E
Definitley diffing the whole Dollywood vibe of this park.
It’s pronounced OH-CO-EE. It’s actually a city in Florida.
It’s O-Co-Ee
I really can't stand the Z-fighting when using Reshade with transparencies. So annoying haha.
O co eeeeee
Confused! How does PC look better than any of the PC2 videos! LOL.
@@Curious_Skeptic I use a graphics enhancing program called reshade
@@Channel5Gaming looks amazing!!!
You can see it shift the shade I believe when he got on the log flume and it just starts...the shade pixel and change color.
Not alpine, its Appalachian. Plus you pronounce it O-co-ee
This matters
The map maker should really stop playing planet coaster and start making millions as an amusement park designer
Men... you talk a lot.
Soooooo.....people aren't reviewing REAL theme parks, but fake theme parks? Jesus fucking Christ.
