Book Lovers was the first Emily Henry book and i loved it, like it was definitely a five star read for me, but every other book written by her was kinda meh or just alright ^^
I liked that Book Lovers was about the different kinds of love. Sisterly love, romantic love, love for your work and city you live in, love and compassion for yourself and your mental health state and those kinda things :)
it's so interesting how everyone's opinions vary with each of her books! i might try book lovers by her, thank you for the recommendation 🤭🫶🏼
I read Beach Read about 4 months ago and didn’t like it, it was completely blah. I think Corinne Michaels is a hit or miss, same with Meghan Quinn. I tried Spanish Love Connection and couldn’t get past Chapter 3.

I’m an odd reader that more times than not, I want to see a book on my shelf for a while before I actually even think about starting it. I have gotten better. Especially if I buy the book in person and not online, I’m picking them up straight away more. * Progress *
to be fair, i think some are 2 years old, but i hear you! 🤣 im the total opposite, where if a book has been on my shelves a long time i just forget about them!
