Hi, Am using Sony Bravia EX43TV Model ( Model is quite old) and am not thinking to change it as the colors and quality is amazing. Was planning to buy sound bar which can be used for Theatre experience and with good Voice clarity. Request your expertise in terms which Sound bar will be good i.e. Sony RT3 or Zebronics 9800. Need some help brother. I'm using Sony RT40 and Tata Sky Binge plus for OTT with my nonsmart TV. Current setup: TV doesn't have HDMI ARC. Has only 2 HDMI Ports Tata Sky Binge plus is Android, but no HDMI ARC. Only HDMI, Bluetooth and Optical Port. And has Dobly Digital enabled in the setupbox. What are my best option to get 5.1 effect? Right now I'm using bluetooth connection as optical cable has some issues (I believe). No audio in Optical mode. Any help on this greatly appreciated :)

sony ht rt 40 and rt 3 support dolby digital not dolby atmos. so there is basically not that great difference. u need a very premium dolby atmos soundbar for that soundstage effect

Am using Sony Bravia EX43TV Model ( Model is quite old) and am not thinking to change it as the colors and quality is amazing.
Was planning to buy sound bar which can be used for Theatre experience and with good Voice clarity. Request your expertise in terms which Sound bar will be good i.e. Sony RT3 or Zebronics 9800.
Main use of the music system would be to watch movies and listen to songs for sometime.

The problem is sorted out. i had selected dolby audio plus setting thats why sound was coming from 2 channel, now i have changed the setting to auto and now sound coming from all 5 channels via HDMI too.

Need some help brother. I'm using Sony RT40 and Tata Sky Binge plus for OTT with my nonsmart TV.
Current setup:
TV doesn't have HDMI ARC. Has only 2 HDMI Ports
Tata Sky Binge plus is Android, but no HDMI ARC. Only HDMI, Bluetooth and Optical Port. And has Dobly Digital enabled in the setupbox.
What are my best option to get 5.1 effect? Right now I'm using bluetooth connection as optical cable has some issues (I believe). No audio in Optical mode. Any help on this greatly appreciated :)

sony ht rt 40 and rt 3 support dolby digital not dolby atmos. so there is basically not that great difference. u need a very premium dolby atmos soundbar for that soundstage effect

1. If your Tv supports Dolby Digital then its possible
2. If your Tv Supports Digital pass through then its possible and sound comes in soundbar. otherwise you have to use HDMI Audio extractor
just connect the TV to soundbar by hdmi arc & connect the fire tv stick in normal hdmi port

you have two option

Sir I am using LG SM8100PTA purchased on 2019. Just this year purchased a soundbar Samsung Q600A which is dolby atmos. Most probably my TV does not support dolby atmos but it has hdmi arc port and I have connected my sound bar through ARC. If I connect my HDD to soundbar to play dolby atmos content, is it gonna play the dolby atmos properly? Please clarify. If it really supports then I am gonna play amazon fire stick and pass it through my soundbar to TV. For proper bolby atmos do we need to a good hdmi cable, if yes then suggest a good one within budget. Please help

In your case your TV Doesn't support Dolby Atmos

If I purchase amazon fire stick and connect it to my dolby atmos Samsung soundbar Q600A, will I able to play atmos content on my non dolby atmos TV. Is it possible, if yes.. Hi , I have one plus 65 inch 4K tv with earc port . Tv supports Dolby audio . I have connected lg sp11 ra Dolby atmos soundbar to tv with hdmi 2.1 cable through earc . However I am not getting atmos in soundbar through tv ott apps like Netflix or prime . What might be the reason? Can you help ?

My soundbar supports Dolby atmos . Tv has Dolby audio not atmos . But Dolby atmos codec is decoded by soundbar not tv as sound is played by soundbar not tv . I can not find the pass through option in tv , maybe that’s the reason atmos is not recognised by soundbar. Is there any trick to enable the pass through option in tv . My tv is currently running on android 10

then TV ka HDMI arc/earc port se DOLBY ATMOS sound bar ka HDMI arc/earc port me connect kijiye
