honestly,this car is crazy,im a tech-maniac and the 7 series just blew me outta my shoes,totally outclassed my dad's S550,am definitely gonna get one for myself.
Ultimate driving machines, except they are slowly deleting the need for a driver. I shouldn't be driving if I can't stay in my own lane, parallel park, or open my trunk. I'm not hating on BMWs, I own 2 and love them. If they want to impress me more, then stop making everything out of plastic and make better cup holders that don't break after using them twice.
actually they use less plastic,u just that an e34 everything is plastic , even the dashboard,but they learnt their lesson and now with each new model they make it out with less plastic
unfortunately, 2010 Lexus 250hs had lane departure, but this car is, my fav...over Lexus and Mec. The rompers parking is great, but it's helpful for the driver to is as demoed, but doesn't stop the car you have parked close to from hitting your car with the door when getting in....
I can't wait, till they include a super feature, that allow the car to pay the late and behind car note for you. Because, the car is married or attach to the owner and don't want to be repo. Consider me impress once the engineer figure that one out.

BMW post sale in my country is shame for the brand!! I have 7 series for 7 years.. Spent in official dealership for services and maintenance more than 25 000 $. BMW never gave me replacement vehicle. Never! Not even once! Btw my car spent more than 700 days is service in that last 7 years. Best thing: i asked BMW in my country how much would they give me for my perfectly maintened 7 Series BMW if i buy new BMW they said : nothing! We are not interested in taking your car into account. Really depressing.. Never again BMW 7 Series!
That lane keeping assistant with active side collision protection is a must for every BMW owner, since they always drive like they owned the whole world, i.e. selfish arrogant pricks. The scene that mentions that collision protection system is funny though - you don't see BMW drivers actually using side indicators. :)
Innovative and illogical price hike. This brand is not for common man. Thanks to Toyota , Suzuki , Ford and those Car manufacturers Who addressed to a Common Middle Class people. And Bravo to those Automobile Companies who addressed or trying to address the Lower Middle class as well. Like United Automobile Pakistan And Tata motors India.
BMW needs to go back to the way it was people don't want a car that drives its self. We want a good handling fun car with a standard 5 speed transmission.

Cars getting smarter and more capable, people getting dumber and incompetent. The more stuff being put, the more failure points and potential cost. Cars got all it needed back in 2000s. Everything afterwards were compensation for people getting incompetent. And it hurts me seeing much fat and bloated all cars are getting along with the people. Compare this side by side to a E32 or E38. Those cars look majestic. New cars look fat and bloated with all kinds of unnecessary tech. A few maybe useful but mostly gimmick. By the way, the remote parking usefulness is limited by the fact that you have to keep standing there holding the button. If I can stand and wait there I might as park it myself. So the only meaningful use is when it's very tight that the door cannot be opened after parking which is not very common occurrence. Not to the places where a 7 series owner goes anyway.

SwankyUniform3 my family has 5 bmws, better? 135, 325, 328, 740, x5. 740 has the worst turning radius, and worst driving experience of them all, but it is the most comfortable.
SwankyUniform3 I've ridden and driven in my brother in law's 545. I get that there are compromises when it comes to performance vs comfort, but the 7 still just feels unwieldy to me. Not to mention the poor turning radius that comes from the long wheelbase. The 7 still cuts aggressively in corners, and it still feels like a bmw to drive at speed, but when you're going slower it just feels like it's swimming instead of rolling. IDK if that analogy makes sense to you, but whatever lol.

one problem..their remote control parking only works in straight line...while in mercedez...the car can maneuver turns as well..🙂
