Here's the Auction check list. 1. Is it a high demand item. 2. Do I have enough room in this card that if it goes low I won't lose. 3. Is it a card that people KNOW about. 4. It basically needs to be a PSA slab. You can get away selling the others but you won't get the same demand and clicks. It needs to be an item that people search for actively. You wouldn't want to sell in an auction let's say a Niche error card, like a no symbol jungle error. Your almost guaranteed that you will get less than if you did a BIN listing. I put up 2 CGC 10 cards. I auctioned 1 and I set another at a BIN. The BIN had an offer for 10$ under list price, I accepted. The auction went for $25 less than the accepted offer...PSA equivalents were selling daily for $20-$50 every day. PSA is the way basically.
PSA is definitely the standard for now. I BIN every week though (albeit slowly) some cgc 10 P cards at a solid premium over psa 10 that often auction at 10-20% below psa 10. There's a lot of nuances and optimizing to be done in realizing the highest prices. Keeps it interesting
@@KetchumAllCollectibles pristine 10s are an outlier they are more difficult than PSA 10s to achieve in theory so it makes sense they’d have a higher premium. For me I think is it worth the pristine 10 chase (similar to Beckett BL) or should I just get my PSA 10 and move on.
Def do the PWCC recap win/loss recap video - I'll watch that one for sure
