    Fuck yeah dude. Thank you so much. This is now my new project. I have all those skills, and always wanted a loop pedal. Why not make my own :D
    You have inspired me. Thanks :D
    And I quite liked the tone of your video too. Decently paced, the videos in the background just added to the story, rather than needing to be narrated itself, and gave a lot of extra information about the build. And you were interesting to listen to :)
    You gotta learn to solder tho bro!!!! Haha! It will improve the shit out of everything about all those connections. Deffinatly need to solder the stuff user the heatshrink, but I'd also solder the pedal cables directly to the nano.
    Mine might even have little capacitive touch pads, so I can slide my fingers up and down each pad to change each input pad, to output from 0-255 each midi channel.
    Rather than foot pedal I'll controll it on a desk or stand, and just spruce up the code a bit to match :p
    like I said, you have inspired me!
    Thankyou :)

    Hey I was looking for some inspiration on my own build and I definitely found it here! One idea I had was to replace the laptop with a raspberry pie. This may actually be more reliable than the laptop because you can boot right into the software you want. The pi is also smaller and has gpio built in so no need for the Arduino. Also, a battery backup if you are going live would be sweet.

    • @JuniorMartins-fb5cw

      Hello Spencer! I'm completly noob on it, but I definitely wanna do it. My brother made me the same suggestion about the Raspberry Pi... Could you please give more details why exactly it won't need the Arduino? Is it possible to connect the pedals right to the raspberry?

    • @spencermatousek5452
      @spencermatousek5452 4 года назад +1

      @@JuniorMartins-fb5cw the Arduino was used for interfacing with the pedals. Basically it read high or low from gpio and sent that to the controller with a single line communication protocol. A PC can't do this because it doesn't have any gpio but the pi does have built in gpio

    This video did not age well. Tried to build this a few years ago, and it didnt work out, got back to it now, same issue. Here they are.
    1. Sonnit looper doe not exist anymore - you might want to update the link - Mobius is so hard to work out, and every video tutorial on it has disappeared, really frustrating.
    2. your arduino code misses files, such as the MIDI.h file, it does not compile without it. other codes available "seem" to work, but are for different boards.
    3. even with midi passthrough on the arduino, any sort of alternative comms, devices or lights seems to absent from your vid, either you are hella good at figuring things out, or there is a fair bit missing from your video, or everything is now outdated/
    an pdate and revamp of your board (going into a little further detail) would be really awesome. Cheers
