i looked at the video title and wondered how and then immediately realized after the first 30s
they really should just make entirely separate leaderboards
yeah, 7k and 4k are SOO different

then learn 7k, nothing is stopping you, if you think its hard then the 7k players leaderboard positions are totally deserved because it is that much HARDER than 4k.

tbh it would've been great if you talked more about how you managed to accomplish this: talk about your mindset, if you had any specific way of practicing, what you think is important to be as successful, etc. while viewers are amazed at your improvement they have no idea how you did it. some of them might be stuck, they don't understand how to start improving again, and this video might have helped them if it had more insight

me: reached 25-30k rank in 2 years (or less) and staying like that forever now (already for 5.5 years)

I reached rank 40k in mania in under a year in 2022 but got burnt out and only now im starting to derust lmfao
@@Usogui3000 no there's a lot of factors like playtime breaks how serious you take the game and some peoples setups just run the game poor or have chord splitting or a lot of other issue

Great job, this is really impressive! I’ve been playing rhythm games for about a month now (not every day, but I’m still trying to improve). I play 4K, so it’s a bit hard to compare, but I’d say my current skill level is similar to where you were after 5 days, lol. Maybe I’m not made for this lol but I’m having a lot of fun and enjoying my time while playing rhythm game so who knows, maybe one day I’ll get better, haha!

hmm, I can think of 2 ways immediately
first is downloading all coro's unranked 7k packs. it doesn't split maps into categories, but that's a good way to get a lot of new maps (almost all of them are good) since ranked/loved section doesn't have that many 7k maps, especially 1-2+ years ago. I'm sure you will be able to distinguish ln maps from other maps from the menu alone
second way: I remember Kawawa listing mappers in his profile. he's had that list for some time, then removed it. not sure why. internet wayback machine helped me to recover his old userpage. this is who he listed (note: this is about their UNRANKED maps specifically):
*Noodle Type
17VA : symmetry, basic vocal skills.
Zenonia : very fun!
ruka : balanced layering and catchy songs.
Pikobaka & Akary : very fun, too!
Pengdoll(=LCH) : o2Jam style, best.
hoo9030 : with cutie anime songs!
Destiny19 : o2Jam style (symmetry)
Kim_GodSSI : long standing noodles.
LostCool : shorted noodles, acc rocks.
*Mixed Type
Remuring : (5~6*) for warming-up.
Flexo123 : (5~8*) all round mapper.
Evening : (5~7*) legend.
Reba : depending on map conception, well made.
sankansuki : uncommon layering.
Hehoooh(=Hassou Tobii) : (6~8*) rice, noodle 5:5 ratio, test your stamina.
while typing that, I thought of another way. you can get a tool that converts maps into ln maps, it's also adjustable. it must be somewhere on forums. if you don't find it, let me know, and I will try finding it myself
one day Kim_GodSSI uploaded his whole songs folder. it had davteezy's bms converts converted into ln maps (most likely using that tool, idk the exact settings) with rates. idk if his songs folder is still up, you could try getting those as well. or you can ask me to upload specifically those maps I mentioned. I understand that not everyone can download like 100 gb just to get a small part of maps
on forums there's a thread with converted maps from other games. if you haven't already, check out o2jam converts

It's a completely different beast from 4k and 7k though. 4k is really physically demanding. 7k is like the middle ground, control and physically demanding, then 10k which is less physically demanding but requires reading ability and finger control. Some day we'll get a separate 10k leaderboard right... 😂

I use 2 thumbs in 8k and only left thumb in 7k

Hey what accuracy you aim for in an average session? 85% playstyle have got me from B to S rank of Lime Beyond 6* in 3 weeks, but I am stuck on the next difficulty for literally 3 months

Even as 4k main, I enjoy 7k more. There more pattern you can't really have in 4k
To each their own but I don't think I really care about the pattern variety in 7K, so I main 4K

What if i just play 4k all the time?
The start is significantly easier to learn but you need to push way harder for pp once you get to a high rank as more of the top pp maps are 7k. Either way this video is less of a testament to 7k but more to what happens if you commit yourself to something for a year. If you put in a good year of effort similar to what was shown in the video even if you play 4k you will see similar results
@@ryryhall8306 not completely true not completely false you will be 10th dan or alpha even beta in a year if you put in enough work but 4k DOES not give even the slightest amount of close pp to how easily u can pp farm on 7k do not expect 3 digit on 4k in a year as it has a much higher playerbase and requires more physical strength meanwhile 7k has a lower playerbase easier to farm less strain on your muscles and stamina and pretty easy to farm pp on

what are you implying, osumania is easier? also they're both different, and yeah if you want a comparison on which is harder in terms of learning curve, I'd say osu!mania is much more in regards to that. even pro osu standard players agrees to that
