The fact that Dodge can sell these people the same car for 8 straight years truly amazes me.
Dodge doesn’t ever work on the cars they already have. They just make a new one each year, or atleast a new name 🤣

I have a Challenger Jailbreak ordered (1-14-22), and I have already seen the MSRP increase over $1000. Then some dealerships have tacked on an additional $10,000 over that. I am glad I am locked in my price, but waiting for delivery will be hard to take. I have customized it so it will be a one-of-a-kind car. I am currently driving a 2012 Challenger SRT8 and I have loved every mile, but I can't wait to drive this car and enjoy that extra power. Thanks for your video!

I’d get some of the Jailbreak only options so than people can tell that it’s a Jailbreak and not a Redeye

Yeah, to me it looks like a hellcat and I bet most of the general public won't know the difference bet it and an RT or even a 30k GT.
@@Mrbobcat7 I'm still unable to get over the fact they put the Scatty/SRT parts on a V6 car and even on RTs to make them harder to tell apart. Back in 2015 if you wanted that SRT look you had to take it to the head and go with the higher trims. Now, anybody can pretty much get it smh

Get a side income online (ebay, Amazon, ecommerce, fivver, etc)...make an extra $1-3k/month, get your credit up to 750+, then you can possibly afford it. You have till the end of 2023 to order one so if you hustle, you can make it happen. Good luck!

I'm patiently waiting for my new Charger Redeye-Jailbreak to come in and still waiting for a VIN. Ordered placed on 4/6/22 from Safford CJDR in northern VA here in the good ol DMV area. Going with a Pitch Black and went a Lil crazy with options but came up to 96k. I'll be upgrading from a 15' R/T that I might end up keeping as my daily. I hated the stock wheels at first but seen these in a couple other videos and fell in love with them! I went different and order blue calipers. Haven't seen any other cars with them and I hope the first car I see with them is mine's!!! I'll keep u posted on the process. Great review as always my friend!

91k for this is ridiculous not even fully optioned. Buy an old one Take it to a shop do a package on it like x did for less money while making 1000hp and still have money left to add exterior mods. Great video and nice insight! I just took delivery of my Jailbreak and love it. Believe it or not, I got it in 6 weeks and a couple days. Ordered in mid March and it hit the dealer in late April. ABSOLUTELY CRAZY that it came in so fast. Thanks for the content, keep it coming!

@@toddsmith1690 Unfortunately not the 1st situation I've heard like this, a uddy of mine ordered a Challenger Redeye, non Jailbreak 3 days later, sane dealer and he still hasn't seen his. He has gotten a build update. Doesn't seem to be much of a ryme or reason. Truly didn't mean to rub it in. Good luck and hopefully you get it soon. Phenomenal car, just plain fun.

The "Jailbreak" plate is only on the interior. The exterior badging is the SRT logo with Hellcat's head with a Redeye jewel insert.

Which is crazy RacerX, my jailbreak came so quick I’m talking I ordered it the day you were allowed to order the jailbreak. It came in 3 months and some days technically not even 4 months but basically 4. Everybody else’s jailbreak is like still being built. According to one of my subscribers I got the “guaranteed” build code idk what that means but it’s crazy how many people don’t have their car! It’s sad tbh

id never be able ti afford one, but i just don't like the wide body tire fenders, just reminds me of the old school dropped civic hathes back in the day and every other ricer that was goin 12mph with the exhaust howling like there going 160. i love the gt body style of both models with the hood scoops and the front lights

I like playing around with the customizations for a jailbreak I could never afford lmao . I love my ‘21 Challenger RT though . Dream car is a base Hellcat . Hopefully I can find a decent used one after I’m done paying off my RT.
I'm in the same boat. I have a modified 2014 RT Max...FBO, skat pak fast.
Planing on trading it in a few years for a 2017/18 Daytona 392, then in 2030, when I retire, my retirement gift to myself hopefully will be a 2023 Widebody Hellcat Red-eye...lol

Sorry to break this to everyone but the Black midnight badges are out of stock including the black 5 spoke wheels (I think that's what it is) , only brass monkey and red badges are available. Tried ordering one recently just to be told those options are gone.
Seems like you have to view some dodge products like super cars. They are not affordable. Dodge have really fleeced this plate form for all it’s worth. It’s still a beautiful machine. Great review..

It really just sucks that you can't order a standard redeye widebody. It's like they are forcing you to purchase the jailbreak which imo is just a cash grab. That's all. Same car yeah it's tuned but taking every option away from the redeye when orders first opened up and then eventually stopping orders completely for widebody redeyes just to force someone into spending more money for a jailbreak is some shit.
Almost 6 figures and probably well over that once they hit the lot, if that even happens is insane...
I have suede headliner, real carbon fiber, Satin black hood, roof, and decklid. My steering wheel lights up red. Just missing 10hp. Only 12 gold rush redeye's was made for the U.S.
And there's a reason for that 😆 who wants an all gold car...no way!

Jailbreak charger was so poorly optioned when you look at how many options the challenger had. I was going to get one but decide to pass as it wasn’t going to be 1 off enough in my eyes.

Yeah, it really shows how he took the high road after all those dealers screwed him by selling the TRX and Corvettes out from under him and constantly moving the goal post. Especially after all the kind words and free advertising he does for them. Racer X is a class act!

The fastest Top speed. For a Stock Hellcat Charger. Was by David Flail's, Octane Red 2017 Charger Hellcat. His bone stock Charger Hellcat. Were officially certified at 212.755mph at the 2.5 mile mark at the Johnny Bohmer Proving Grounds.
