I took an Alaska A321NEO from Portland to Washington D.C. Probably the most friendly crew ever, and the most quiet and the comfortable cabin I have flown with. I definitely can see myself choosing Alaska over others in the future.
My only time flying AS was in 2005 when I flew a 73G (617AS) SEA-JNU and a 734 (779AS) return. I rode on F and loved it. Espessily the approach into JNU. My home airport is RDU and they fly RDU-SEA with a 738/739 depending on traffic. The flew here from SFO with a 320 which began with VA but that was cut before Covid. I would love to fly them again in one of their premium cabins. The 38" you got in E+ is what the legacies offer in F.
I worked for a company for 2.5 years that machined the coolant ports for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd stage compressor blades for the Pratt and Whitney PW1000G engines that are on that plane. we were the only building in the United States that worked on those parts. There's a 98% chance that my parts are on that. very cool to see in that perspective
Great video, thanks! I’ve flown SFO and LAX to FLL, DCA, and EWR, that was Virgin A, I think all on A321’s. I have the AS Visa card which gives me an almost 2fer when renewed. So off we go back East! AS is solid and I’ve never had a bad flight or experience on them, even their Q400’s. Have fun on the milk run! 🐄
Yes, I have been on one of their Neo's once in Economy. I loved it. Alaska is my Favorite Airline. I always get the cheese plate if available. On a trip to Hawaii the Captain bought it for me. Love their employees, as in my opinion, are the best in the business. I am doing multi- city trip in September and one of the six or eight flights is the neo on Alaska Airlines. This is the first time I have actually been on one of the same planes you have. If you have not done the Alaska Airlines " Milk Run " I hope you enjoy it. I did.
It's clear that Alaska is at the top of its game. The customer matters to them but you couldn't pay me to spend seven hours on a narrowbody in Economy Class. Two hours at a push, maybe three with free wi-fi of that standard. An excellent report of an airline that you love. Thanks. Alaska is clearly the airline that the other US airlines aspire to be.
While I never will have the opportunity to fly anybody's A321NEO,much less Alaska's,the interior looks inviting, surprised you made no indication of the mood lighting. With no mention of cost,I thought the cheese platter was free to MVP members but perhaps not. With arrival at SEA at roughly 10pm PT,it would be about 1am back home,so would think you'd be exhausted with the flight time and the body clock saying 'Its bedtime!"--an idea for a future video--next time you fly home to Leon, why not try seeing if Alaska goes that way? Loved the downtown view of Seattle as well as the rain rushing past the aircraft, very appropriate weather!
IMO, the A-321 is the Cadillac of the AS fleet. Yes, I’ve taken it to HNL, JFK, SEA, and MCO from LAX. One key bit of info about Economy or PremiumEconomy on AS=If you don’t know or research, you must pre-order (it’s $8.50) the cheese plate Emil shows, a min 24 hrs before departure and it’s the only food choice for sale. If you miss the 24 hr window, your only option is Chex mix (only some routes) or typically ONE pack of pretzel snack mix, unless it’s a 1000AM or earlier departure, you get ONE Biscoff cookie pack (the smallest size available). You’ll be screwed if you didn’t know this, as you’ll have to bring food on. NOTHING for sale on-board. If you know the system and remember all this, you’ll be fine. I booked last minute on a recent flight and went 5.5 hours with just a tiny Biscoff 🙄
Alaska has been my favorite airline for years, although the longest flight I have been on was SEA-DTW. Their crews are always outstanding only have one bad flight back in 2013 when the FA's went a little to far with pushing the credit card but it did not happen on the return leg and not once since. To bad I now live 4 hours from MSP and my only close option is American but at least I get Alaska points with them now so I get something out of the torture.
Wish Delta was still part of their group. WIth that said I've flown a ton of different airlines and Alaska to this day is still my favorite. I also can't use them as much as I used to but man were they great in terms of support, customer care, and consistently on time service.
Great trip report as always, but how do you always get early boarding access even in economy? You board before first class and tour the cabin, please let me know!
@Abusada Aviation Thanks a lot for that advice, I appreciate you going through and explaining that, I’ll be sure to do that next time I film a trip report for my other channel 24-7 Aviation.
Did you see any restaurants or cafe open at the airport in Ft. Lauderdale in order to have a better meal if you want. At least Starbucks coffee or tea in the airport along with a good big sandwich. That cheese meal you had looked good on your flight.
Secondly, I do like Ft. Lauderdale and the airport is cool as well. I have been there so many times. And I always stopped at the Starbucks there. And have always pick up a sandwich as well.
I was surprised to hear some buzzsaw noise after takeoff because that suggests the fan is spinning at supersonic speeds. This is not good as it wears out the fan and reduces the engine's efficiency. The PW1000G's fan is geared which allows it to spin slower in order to prevent or at least minimize the chance of this happening. Remarkable report nonetheless!
Nice ride sucks Alaska now uses their 10 A321Neos on their transatlantic routes I sure hope Alaska buys more A321NEOS for themselves like everyone else since they do like them since they do something for them that the 737s can’t do
I highly suspect there was some sort of connection between the two men, quite possible that the lead FA picked up on Emiliano, indicating so via those extra chocolate bars--perhaps both are members of the 'tribe'!
Way to go for not filming the engines' start-up process. Because that's what true aviation enthusiasts do. Skip filming the engine start-up process. I was looking for a video I could use to represent the Airbus A321 that included the engine start-up process, full takeoff uncut until full slat and flap retraction, full landing uncut until slat and flap retraction, and lastly, the full engine shut-down process. Your video does not qualify, and you are not a true aviation enthusiast.
Ok ok to be fair, I would film the entire engine start process, but these newer generation engines take almost 2 minutes to start... now get me a proper CFM56 and those are fired up in 30 seconds! But yeah... I had to make some cuts to keep the videos relatively well timed

As always great video. I enjoyed a flight on Alaska A321neo. Last August DCA-LAX. Regular economy found it was very comfortable.

The engine roar was amazing on takeoff! Great video as always
That neo is a beauty, Im debating if to leave Vegas at 6am on a saturday to LAX just so I can fly the AA neo lol

Great Video, I got upgraded to first class last month for a flight from SEA to OAK being as a MVP. Delicious cookies!
How funny! I just upgraded my seat to that EXACT seat for my flight this Friday 🎉
4:07 I love that the PA system still uses the Virgin America ding.
New Subscriber. Awesome camera lense.👍👍
That little plane gets up and goes. I love Chex-Mix. Sorry but First Class the the only way I fly, just done enough coach in my life. Great review.
Really awesome!

I loved the cheese plate hat Alaskan serves when I flew with them Pre - pandemic last year. I appove
Gotta be up to par as one of your nicest sunsets vids..
Come to the seaplanes counter when your in Juneau. I’ll get you a tour if you want.
YOOO I had that lead FA before he was awesome, he gave me extra chex mix on a PHL-SEA route
As always, amazing shots and content!🤙🏼
A truly great trip report, as always my friend!
Great report as always dude! Also, check out that lady staring at you when you were drinking the tea! Lmao!
Gotta go to Anchorage to see a friend who’s going to be playing hockey there. I know what Airline I’m taking.
You're making the right choice :)

United and Jetblue are the best US carriers right now..
I love Itripreport’s videos.
Very nice airport interior at FL.

LOVE Alaska Air. Longest flight I've had with them was PHX-ANC in first class. wonderful.
2nd time on N928VA!
I love how these seats are the exact same as American, just different colors.
Great report. Makes me want to check out Seattle again sometime.
Wow, 5 hours in and I'm here before Le Sharpe? You're slipping, Emil! LOL

Alaska is an airline based in Seattle, Washington.......WAIT A MINUTE
RUclips title: Economy
The video: Premium 😂
Which one is quieter the neo or max ?
For your next trip report pls do United Express Embraer 175 (economy)
FYI Alaska’s longest domestic flight is not FLL - SEA it’s ORD-ANC
You've got to be close to Gold 75k by now.

Bom vôo, curti o serviço de bordo. Parabéns pelo vídeo... 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿❤️

It only buzzsaws on the A321 since its a bigger plane and needs more power, so the fan is spinning faster to provide the right amount of power.
On Friday I will be flying delta airlines and I hope I will be fly on there brand new new airbus a321 NEO or a320 NEO
500th like :o
1 dislike? must be a cheese platter hater. oh well, nice video, thanks for sharing!!
Are they still saving on maintenance and risking people’s life’s?
What is the flight time SEA HNL?
should have flown on more to love ...
"Ah-ta"
I’m shocked they didn’t last minute equipment swap to a 738 with only 60 people 💀
That would make sense, but from what I heard the flight coming is was 100% full
RIP Alaska A321neo😣

Alaska needs lie flats in first class.. they are the only one who does not have them for transcon flights.
WOW that looks like a pretty empty plane
