Hello my dear friend. I love that you made a healthier version of this delicious meal. Thank you for this wonderful recipe and I wish you a lovely day with a full view and big like nine.
Wow! Absolutely awesome taste. I used baby corn, cauliflower, broccoli, cabbage for Manchurian ball. I used the appam maker which was not even non stick. I greased and used and made awesome balls. I am thankful to the person who has suggested even kofta can be made this way. Shall try some time. Thanks once again for this recipe. Stay blessed.
I just chanced upon this video now. I suppose by your definition I am a health freak 😀. This is an intelligent variation of a popular dish. I make the manchurian balls in air fryer but I think the appe (or Paddu as we call in Bangalore) is also a smart option. Since we will anyway use some corn flour to make the slurry, I prefer to leave it out while mixing the veggies. Either rice flour or fine semolina (called chiroti rava in Kannada) will give the veggie balls crispness and binding. In fact I have even made them by mixing little dosa batter which has rice, rava as well as urad flours in it. All these work. A friend of mine recently told that she has tried besan and rice flour and that works as well...I am yet to try that. Thank you for this interesting and nicely explained video.
I make it sometimes without corn flour by simply using rice flour for veggies and using no flour in the gravy. There's not much difference without cornflour when making DRY manchurian.
I love this recipe 😍 I was craving for Manchurian & looking for some healthier options and yes I found the correct one. Such a healthy and simple recipe.😊
Wow something very healthy and innovative technique friend . Looks so yummy this veg Manchurian recipe . Adding corn and rice flour is a good idea. Mixing corn flour water with all spices is also good to have juicy texture. And you are looking so glamorous as always. Thanks for sharing friend. A big like from me. Stay blessed and have a nice day ahead.
I feel MSG is not bad for you please do the research it has 2-3 times less sodium than table salt and the glutamate in MSG doesn't cross blood brain barrier to do any harm. The recepie is awesome I added MSG to make it more tasty. The appa maker idea is also awesome loved it. Cheers 😋😍👍😊
Mam..I tried on but that did not work out..why I don't know..I boiled cauliflower and then I wore cauliflower carrot cabbage in mixie and kept in appam maker..but it did not come propely in appam maker..those all broken off and they are not cooked too
thats because you used a mixer jar for chopping your veggies. Mixie turns these veggies into a watery paste. You should grate them so that they don't leave their water and become all mushy. Thats the reason they became too soft and didn't get cooked properly. Use a grater. Hope it helps :)

Can I fry them ? Coz i don't have appam maker
of course you can but the point is not to deep fry them in order to make them healthier
Hi. Awesome recipe, great work.
Question- if I don't have corn flour for the veggies paste and gravy, what is the alternative?
I make it sometimes without corn flour by simply using rice flour for veggies and using no flour in the gravy. There's not much difference without cornflour when making DRY manchurian.
