Well done podcast. You both have tackle a "best of breed" distiller and provide confirmation of what most of us would have guessed. Biggest surprise for me: 1. Old Brigand and Alleyne Arthur. You are helping us make better buying decisions - thank you. Old Brigand has been on my try list for some time; might be time to actually buy some.
I've drunk entire bottles of all these here except for the Seale's 12 and the McCoy 12 (neither of which I've tried). My two favorites - price *not* taken into consideration - are Alleyne Arthur's and Old Brigand.
You guys were talking about whether or not there was a Real McCoy *10* . There actually *was* one. It was a Limited Edition at 46%. Not many bottles were produced.
This was a really fun episode! I haven't really started on my Barbados rum journey, so this gives me some good places to begin.

Thanks, Al! Take the plunge with OB!

Ur tasting skills are suspect, verging on cringe. Maybe stick to interviews.
Ur comment is cringe, verging on tardy. Maybe stick to drinking alone.
