Great video! We did the traverse two days after you posted this. Watching your video first helped a lot with some of the route finding. Keep the videos coming.
Sweet video, guys! I must say, the GoPro definitely accentuates the exposure and narrowness of the crux wall. It didn't look nearly as bad when the non wide-angle lense was taking footage.
Well with winter coming up, I think it would be interesting to see what you generally bring with you on those climbs (boots, crampons, backpack, etc.).
That looks absolutely amazing !!! Thank you so much for sharing your videos. This may be a little far out of my league, so it is fun to watch other people do it so I know it can be done !! How was coming down from here ?
@@HikinginColorado Nothing in particular as of now but always looking for new treks. Trying 14ers when I can, just wish I had an experienced group to tag along with because most my friends are "punks" and can't handle the long hikes. Lol

Loved those handholds when I was there. Great job!

+Jeremiah Roybal Glad it helped you out a little, that's why I make them! Thanks for watching!

I can’t imagine trying to down climb that! That’s pretty wild!
Looks like great minds think alike, we were also on the traverse this day!
I wonder if we saw each other!
Watching this makes me want to climb these so badly! 😀
Awesome video! Can't wait to do this someday. Congratulations to you and your crew!!
+Brent LaForge Thank you!
Maybe you didn't have any issues climbing the Crux Wall, but the footage almost gave me a heart attack!
Those go pro cameras round everything so it's a bit distorted. It's hard to get a real view
Wow! That final pitch of the Needle is so badass! 100% fun!
+Mark Sides Yeah, it was a blast!
good job man great video!! i will be doing this as soon as snow melts
Thank you! Hope you have fun, that route is committing. That final pitch up the Needle is intense!
@@HikinginColorado ohhh yes I been training just for it
Could you do a gear video?
Ethan Clifford Sure! What type of info would you like to see?
Well with winter coming up, I think it would be interesting to see what you generally bring with you on those climbs (boots, crampons, backpack, etc.).
Walker should really have been named "Climber".
You can't get to the summit of Crestone Needle just by walking!
No one shows the downclimb which is supposed to be hard to trail find
great video! do you go down the same way?
You go down the standard route for Crestone Needle!
That looks absolutely amazing !!! Thank you so much for sharing your videos. This may be a little far out of my league, so it is fun to watch other people do it so I know it can be done !! How was coming down from here ?
Thanks for watching Owen! And we went down the Needle's standard route. I thought some of those parts were harder than the traverse itself.
Do you have any fun hikes coming up this spring?
It depends on how fast my knee heals! I probably won't be able to get back to climbing until early Summer. How about you?
