    I assume you have done it but the traverse is absolutely amazing if you also feel like knocking that out since you will be mostly there. Btw thank you for your video on the Pawnee traverse did it today and absolutely loved all of the direct ridge climbing!! Keep up the great videos man!!

      Nice work on Pawnee, Huge adventure for a "little route." On a technical level, more then the Crestone traverse IMO. No way was I going to do the "Peak" without the traverse, was the whole reason I was there, You know it Man! After you saw the Peak video anyway. . .Cheers

    Lots of devpoment since the 70's and 80's . Hope it hasnt become too crowded like many areas in Colorado . Made at least 37 different 5th class climbs in this massive and lots more 3rd class ones too.

    Interested to hear your perspective on the down-climb from needle after the traverse. I keep reading route finding is incredibly difficult which is halting me from giving it a shot.

    • @braydenmccain4578
      @braydenmccain4578 2 года назад

      Route finding really isn’t bad. It’s prolly a good idea to check out the standard route on the needle first then hit up the traverse.

    • @braydenmccain4578
      @braydenmccain4578 2 года назад

      It’s really just a matter of one turn out of the west gully of the needle. The traverse has like 1000 carins that are pretty hard to miss

    • @KarlDeckerPresents
      @KarlDeckerPresents  2 года назад +1

      James advice is very solid, I do believe the needle descent is the most dangerous part of the whole thing. I will have a covered in the next video as well, showing the Traverse out of the first gully.
