Thank you for sharing. I left in 2020. I lived at the end of the cul de sac, Albro Lane, off church st, next to the school and park. I was always at the Asian market, where the dmv and mc donalds were, but that building was torn down.
I was there a few days ago for the first time. It’s a nice area overall and I liked it. If I lived in New York City and got tired of it, I would rather move to White Plains than Florida.

I am planning to move back to NY and WP is an option along with New Rochelle or Fleetwwod Mt Veron. I am originally from The BX so I am familiar with lower Westchester County. Apts there are still less.
I know I’m late to comment on this video but, white plains is the town I grew up in for 10+ years, it’s calm, friendly, you can make a lot of friends, just recommending don’t drive in the summer. White plains is not so distant from other city’s, it’s also very close to everyone else such as houses, apartments etc. I ride my dirtbike through white plains and it is very nice, I live by fisher Ave -not gonna say exactly- and it is most likely you know everywhere in wp -just like me- in more then 30 mins
At 4:59 the doorman at the apartment building was looking at you in a mean way in order to show you he's the boss of you. His hands are crossed in front of his chest, an anthropomorphic non verbal signal that you are not wanted.
Lol. I didn't even notice the doorman, Krishna. I need to have a third eye 🤣. One eye looking at the camera, the second looking forward so I know where I'm going and the third looking at my back for possible threats. 😆⛑
I used to live in that building it’s Trump Tower and yes security are strict but are super helpful and lovely. I miss White Plains. It’s super quiet not much goes on there
@@enishalihoward8119 I agree. I also love the serene vibe and the fact that both high and low-end entertainment and shopping can be done there without having to go all the way to Manhattan. Everyone can find their niche in White Plains. 😊
Have you done a walk of the Galleria of WP its closing for good a the end of March? Also Ridge Hill is cool too. I remember Ridge Hill just being built.

@@EdGoPlaces they said on a LoHud article that the city is looking into mixed use residential and commercial. So likely a skyscraper with stores at the bottom and residences starting at certain floor. I’m really wondering what they’re going to do with the White Plains Mall lol.
