Really appreciate this video. Learned lots. Question, however: once the user successfully activates the "Next" button after clicking each button, how do I get the "Next" button to REMAIN active when the user returns to the screen? The reason I need this is the buttons that must be 'visited' on my screen actually link to other screens, and then the user is returned to the screen with the buttons on them. I can see for a split second that when I click the last of the buttons, the "Next" button is enabled, however once I return, the "Next" button is once again grayed out and inactive. (I'm using Storyline 2.)
Thanks for this tutorial, but would it not have been cleaner to just: 1) Disable NEXT when Timeline starts; 2) Change NEXT state to Normal when both buttons held a state of Visited? I don't see where the TF variable is necessary?
Exactly what I was looking for. Great video, easy to follow, straight to the point.
Great tutorial, thank you!

I would like to know which tab to if I want to disable NEXT. I would be glad if you can help me out. I'm working on a project.
Is there a way to do this with an embedded web object? I'd like to disable the next button until the user submits a questionaire? Thank you!
you saved me
